My goodness!!!!I can't believe how many posts have been made since this am. I was trying to read but looks like the postings at 11 am were forever!!!!
Andy, I can understand the knee issue. Rich is going to start his second synvisc treatment Thurs. He really does need the operationaas he is bone on bone and has been in agaony since the last cruise in Dec. Thry had to draw off fluid Christmas week and I really thought he would go for the operation this time, but they are doing another round of shots. He has them last March and has been pretty pain free since. I can't imagine how you make it thru the cold weather! Especially falling on the ice.Maybe by the time of the cruise you two can compare scars

Chrizjen,I used to use a heating pad on my footrest and it worked pretty well. You just have to be careful you don't overdo it.I feel guilty complaining about how cold it is at work when most of you are freezing. I can feel the pain of the cold air and cannot think of reliving it again. Too painful

Even as warm as our fall and early winter was, I can still fuss about COLD it is here. Even DH is concerned. He just bought a new bike and wants to ride around with our boys . . .LOL. Good chance of snow tomorrow . . .for you folks in NY and PA and MI, would you send a few inches our way? We need to dust those nasty mosquitos!

Hey one of the advantages of homeschooling is that snow days are at the descreation of the teacher/principal. It can be below zero and freezing and we can still complete our school days. My mom is a school teacher in PA. She probably will end up going to school through late June at the rate they are going . . .

Gotta put some more wood on the fire . . .

The Magic wont be going into drydock until after the 5 day cruise AFTER our cruise.

LIsa if the rotation holds true, Magic was 2005 (jumbotron)Wonder came here in 2006 (Jumbtron), which means Magic will be here Oct 2007, then Wonder again in Oct 2008. Since 2003 Magic has been here Odd Years and Wonder Even Years

No, we are second seating, too. My DD goes to school in Schaumburg, so we'll have something to talk about.

We lived in Schaumburg for 35 years when it was just a little town. We alomost bought in Bollingbrook.

Hey listen to this. I just read my mail from today and I opened a letter that looked rather official.. I read it and to summerize it.. I won.. yes won or entitled to the lump sum of $3,250,0000 to be shared amoung 10 people. I have to be sure to give them all the security numbers when I CALL in to claim my prize with my credit card number that helped me claim this prize..

What do they think I am that STUPID.. Do they no know I am a DIS member???

We had no problem going to the clubs at night. All the early bird diners were at the shows.

I agree that's how it has been, but they were scheduling October 2007 sailings . . .We live around the corner from the drydocks. It is so cool to come over the bridge and see the Magic or the Wonder. We like October here. Many of the CM's take their vacation then, too.

On our cruise on 1/13/07, I found myself having a snack at Goofy's or the old Scoops. I loved the cucumber salads and wraps. It was fairly healthy. Actually I think I ate better and healthier on the ship than I do at home . . .LOL.

Here's hoping we'll be fine . . .LOL

She lives in Fulton?? There is no way you can get there... My dad is in Florida too..but he is in N Syr about 2 miles from me.. 2 cold to go over there today.. maybe tomorrow,,lol saw B'ville was the first to close this AM...

DH got up to check and let us sleep in.....usually we are the last, have heard our Sup. doesn't like to close....sounds like we may have tomorrow too - it is still coming down bad and the temps aren't going to be much better than this am....how much snow didi you get in N. yeah kinda... when my DD was little - she was more into Peter Pan than the Princesses...it was the first play we took her to and the first play she was in....but I just though with the "hooker" jokes.....you know....
