Left yesterday afternoon to go to a Super bowl Party and we were on Pg 712 .

Schools are closed here too - wind chills in the negative teens and 8+ inches of snow expected between now and 5 o'clock. Slept in until 9, when my mom called from WDW - wish I was there!!!!

If i stay at DL before our trip (flying in so probably won't have a car) is there someplace nearby to get a couple cases of water or could i send $ to someone to hook me up ahead of time?

We're going to stay at DL on points too. I haven't really looked into much yet so I don't know which one.

I dont know I have not called DVC on this yet, I think that because it is not a DVC property you can book farther out!

I will check it out when I get a chance, let me know if you get there first!

Good morning everyone! I am just taking a quick break before I get back to work here. I have been to 3 stores, scanned it all (for neilson thing), and put it all away. Now I need to do some cleaning so that I can spend the afternoon guilt free here.

Wow I thought it was cold here at 10 degrees with a wind chill of -5 & the wind is blowing at 26mph, but we're not as cold as some of you and we have no snow to speak of. I hope you guys manage to get warm! Andy don't get too cold walking around out there!

Off to the gym now so I better go start my car. Good thing I have an automatic starter.

I'm kinda hoping that we can afford to get to DL for at least a day before the cruise. But we'll probably have to stay in a cheap hotel somewhere offsite. But we may actually end up flying in on the day of the cruise if we can't swing DL. We'll have to see what happens over the next months.

Well, I'm sorry but I just don't agree with wearing black (especially with the dark logo we have- it won't be noticable? we'll have to stare at chests to see if it's our logo to recognize people from our group?) in August... and I'm not all that keen on white either. Just call me difficult. I don't care. LOL

I used to teach swim lessons to both kids and adults...and also to the handicapped. Do you need lessons? And what category do you fit into?

I don't have a problem with black or with white, but I also think it might be kinda cool if we all chose different colors for our shirts for the iron-ons! That way it would allow everyone to be as unique as they want, but still match the group. Imagine the whole spectrum of colors all with the same iron-on logo! That would look pretty cool in a big group photo!

Man, you people are FUH-REEZING!
Here we think we're cold when we're in the 30's- and we are today... have been for awhile. We're Texans though- we think it's "chilly" when it's in the low 60's.
I think we'd all freak right OUT if we ever got to the temps you people are talking about! Lord have mercy......

But I'm just hoping we can RECOGNIZE people from our group. Our last (blabbermouths/first double dip) cruise we had gray shirts that were different- not many people with gray shirts with various colored dips on a cone on their shirt and all that. The pirate logo is not going to stand out quite as much- then put that on a black shirt? I just hope security doesn't get called cause I'm all like craning my neck looking at people's chests.

Good point Amesmom - we're heading to Hawaii in 5 weeks. That's not a bad thing.

SO - anyone live near Portland, Salt Lake City, Denver, Colorado Springs, Kansas City, St. Louis, or Louisville?? We're beginning to plan our move & are thinking that these will be our stops. We're going to drive across the middle of the country since we've already done both the northern and souther routes. I'm really hoping to hit the World's Largest Ball of Twine on this trip!

I'm also thinking that we'll accept the challenge of making the trip across the country without eating in a national chain restaurant. When you treck across 1-2 countries every three years, you have to do something to keep it interesting.

Springs here...just moved so don't rely on us for expert advice on anything but eateries and maybe shopping The Butterfly Pavillion in Denver is pretty nice.

What about creating a small logo for the front left chest area and then putting the big logo on the back. Then, regardless of the color, you'll be able to tell the DISers both coming and going.

I will say I like either Black or White and will probably make both.

Now if we came up with 15 different colors, we could have a different one each day. Start with white, go through the rainbow, and end with black. Everyone remember your colors from 1st grade, ROYGBIV?
