hey Diznyfan,

i am almost a nyc person i was born in Yonkers,Ny, but now We live in Fishkill so we are somewhat close to each other...

Grew up in Queens, Work two blocks from Ground Zero. Live in Pelham Manor... See ya on the EB Repo!!!

Haha
more talk like that and I'm going to have to take away your Type A planner pin or something. Listen, if I could already have the stuffed packed, I would. Unfortunately I have no clue what size any of us will be wearing by that time. :rotfl:
(I'm hoping I'm a lot thinner... if wishes were dreams and dreams were reality)

DW has a challenge for me...she'll drop some weight if I learn to swim before Embarkation Day!! :rotfl:

She aleady has her "vision" of what the door signage is going to be like!

Seems like everyone turned in early tonight.

Guess your gonna have to talk to yourself jonesing, I'm calling it a night too.

So yeah, you're going to learn to swim huh? That's cool. :)

You and me both on the learn something new thing... I had absolutely NO idea anything Disney sanctioned (like their own island) would involve nudity. Color me baffled and amazed! LOL

Well that's nothing new! DW just went to bed :rotfl: And actually, now that I'm caught up, I'm off too!:wave2:

Yeah, DW and her best friend/SIL swim like otters! Even the baby can float and do a couple of basic strokes :p I, on the other hand, sink like a stone! :lmao:

I'm sure there's enough of an international contingent of pax that would expect this. When we were in St. Lucia there were topless sunbathers pretty much anywhere on the beach and nobody was bothered (except for the occasional American family, of course  )

Hi Laura! We were on the July 23, 2005 cruise with you. So glad to see you are going on the repo again. I was so jealous when you were able to go last time. I remember that you booked onboard during our cruise. I told my DH that if DCL ever came back we were doing this trip and here we are!!

I'll have to download a pix so you all out there can remember me. Now - to learn how to download........ :confused3 Oh well, nice to see others I know although I have a feeling by the time htis cruise sails in - we'll all be family. You all sound like a blast. I'm going to have more fun this time around! :woohoo:

Jeezy Pete, does this place ever slow down? :surfweb:

I'll chip in - I actually was thinking of doing the wine package for dinner but DH doesn't drink it so if anyone else is interested in splitting one...

We'll probably be bringing much of our own. Brought a case for our 7-day WB Cruise (became EB - thanks Ernesto) in Aug'06 and drank it all down with the help of my parents and brother. Since we're "local" to this one - bringing our own will be easier this time.

It could be worse - I'm the daughter-in-law of a Deacon! An Episcopalian daugter-in-law of a Deacon at that.

DH only has one brother :confused3

It does get worse. I'm the preacher's daughter! Which basically means I can cuss like a sailor - got a reputation to live down after all...

T-Shirt and Pirate shirt source:
In my skimming it looked like folks were looking for a source for t-shirts and pirate shirts. I do a lot of wearable fabric art and get my "blanks" at Dharma Trading Co - excellent quality, and really cheap. Nice folks too. See them at www.dharmatrading.com.

Special Thanks to Andy:
Andy, I know you don't remember, but you sent pay it forward post cards to our boys last July for our August cruise. Issac was celebrating his 5th birthday on board. "His Pal Mickey" sent him a card saying how great it was going to be to see him. We spent a few days in the parks before the cruise and he was very keyed on Mickey. "There's my pal Mickey!" "There's Mickey, he's my pal!" We had the character breakfast right off when the Magic sailed. He insisted on staying until Micky came by - we were off in a corner and were at the very, very end. They're clearing the tables by us - and we're waiting. Mickey finally makes it. Issac stands on a chair. Gives him a big hug. And says "Thank you for sending me my card. I'm glad we're here together too." Hopped off the chair and left.

Do not under estimate the impact your postcards can have. Many, many, thanks.

Anyone else keeping it a secret?
We're keeping this cruise a secret from the boys. Just tonight at the dinner table they were practicing their Disney Magic horn blow. We've been listening to it for months. There is no way we'e going to get them wound up for this cruise nearly 20 months beforehand. Especially since we're hitting the world for 10 days this August.

so, very unfortuantely that means I can't add the totally awesome logo to my signature or add a ticker. :sad2: They like to read over my shoulder when I'm on the boards and would totally notice it.

Besides, it'll be kind of fun to just show up at the Magic and "see if they'll let us on board". They'll be coming out of their skins!

That's it for tonight. I'm just hoping I can keep with with this thread! Heck, I've got a whole other 10-day WDW vacation to plan too! We hit the 180 ADR window in 17 days!!

Cool...

Okay , For the Iron - on Transfer Challenged , I have set up a website to order cruise gear on ....This has T-****'s and a bunch od other stuff on it ..Now DO NOT ORDER YET ...I just ordered last night to see if they will look okay , I just wanted you to have the link so when you go to order you can ....Again , DO NOT ORDER YET ...cause I want to see what everything looks like when it gets here , if its good I will have Lisa post the link on the first page ....

Now for the Iron On Transfer geeks , when we get closer can email you the High Res of the cruise logo or I think Lisa will post it on the website for you to download ..Obviously this is the cheaper way out of the two and the one I will do as well ...But again I was thinking of everyone and wanted to make sure you all had choices ...lol

There will be a special limited shirt that I am going to work on over the next couple of months - and I will let everyone know about that as well ..

So for now just window shop and give me your feedback , and I will let you know in about a week or so if its okay to order ....

Heres the link

Again ..DO NOT ORDER YET ...Just window shop for now

Well...

I'm home now and earlier I demonstrated the thread to everyone ... then ended up showing them the threads for our other sailings... the 11 nite southern last september... and so on...

Anyone up with me ta run the nite shift???:surfweb:

We all swim like fish here- that's great you're going to learn. :) You have to keep up with your fam! LOL

Abou the occasional American family... we were a little um, not quite uncomfortable but like just um.. not really knowing how to behave and where to look :rolleyes1 when we went to Jamaica. Yes, we're the typical americans... all hung up on that stuff. What's funny is if either of us saw a breast in the act of breastfeeding we wouldn't blink an eye. But just laying there topless- it was unfathomable! LOL
(well, unfathomable that they could lay there and not care that they were NEKKID IN PUBLIC! :scared1: That's just like a nightmare to me, not something I'd really do- yanno?)

Morning all hope your weekend will be fine, MOD/LISA do not worry we were talking sports teams last night and the commnet' do not go there' is just about whos team you support.
They actaully think I support Arsenal but that was just a little prompt as we had a Liverpool support in our mist.

All freindly banter!
