We had a good trip!

went back and read the thread from around thanksgiving.

I was glad to see my secret mickey got their gift.

I want to let my secret mickey know that I love my gift and will wear it during the TOAL... (and I think I know who my secret mickey is)

I thought I should mention... SIL, your secret mickey just sent me another package that is intended for you - I am reshipping it to you tomorrow - however, I am headed to San Diego. SO it will be coming to you from SAN DIEGO,

And Mrs. Scooby... the same is true for you. Your Secret Mickey has sent a package to me and needs reshipping to you. it too shall be shipped tomorrow from San Diego.

OK... I gotta go now. Gotta lot of driving tomorrow. And with this posting I believe I am all caught up with the period I was out of town for that cruise in early December. NOW... I need to get caught up from when I RETURNED fromthe cruise. Since returning I still have not been on the thread continuiously. Rather, I've been hopping in and out a bit. Things have been sooooo busy since returning. There are so many things that needed doing these past couple of weeks! I feel like an over worked yo-yo!

G'mornin' pirate:s

I'm back - both physically and virtually. I drove back from Ohio yesterday, and I actually enjoyed myself while driving 7 hours home. Cool car, no kids in the backseat, iPod plugged in, giant cup of coffee - it was all good. If it had been warm enough to put the top down it would have been perfect! I didn't really hit traffic until most of the way through MD - Kristina, did you see me wave through Fredneck??

We ran around a bit Christmas Eve then went to the 4:30 children's Mass at DH's family church. We got there 45 minutes ahead of time and couldn't get a seat in the sanctuary (the place holds about 900!), couldn't get a seat in the chapel (probably another 200), and could only find a place to sit in a gathering room off to the side (probably holds another 300-400), so we sat in a church and watched Mass on big screen TV! Crazy.

We spend Christmas Eve with my family. My brothers don't have kids yet, so they enjoyed staying up with us to put the kids toys together. This whole process freaked out my youngest brother's girlfriend because she had never witnessed Santa-Christmas morning in the making. She said we ruined the magic for her! She's 23.

The boys managed to stay in bed until 0730 then we tortured them by taking our time getting the cameras out, making coffee, etc. before they could go down and see what Santa brought. We had a nice, but short morning because we had to pack up the cars and move the whole family 3 miles down the road to my in-laws for the rest of the trip. Had a nice day and Christmas dinner with the ILs, then I drove home yesterday.

I have to work today, but I think I am going to enjoy some 'alone' time until my guys get home Saturday afternoon (they stayed in Ohio). I think I'm going to see Sweeney Todd tonight after work.

I might even have some time for ketchup here.

I hope everyone had a great holiday! I can't wait to read about it.

Yesterday was the first day of the rest of my life. I managed to have a good eating day. Thank God for adjustable pants. Hope to lose 15 lbs before our Feb cruise. or :rotfl2:

Good Morning !!
First day back to work today. (boo hoo). Two days on & then 4 days off (yea)

We had a great Christmas. Dinner for 14 at my house. It's always a fun time.

Have a great day everyone.

Just wonder if anyone has visited before and can give me some information on this. Is it possible to arrange a trip privately as do not particularly want to shop as well.

Looks as if there is not to be a great amount of time in Acapulco and read that the cliff divers do not start until 1.p.m. when we are due to sail it would appear.

Any advice would be appreciated.

We also want to see the cliff divers. Through some research I discovered what you did...that they don't begin their day until afternoon. I did notice that DCL is offering an excursion to see them, however. While I don't want to do the DCL excursion, it leads me to believe that the divers will be out earlier that day.

If anybody else had more info on this that would be great.

#8 bonus question... I would have to say I've been mostly NICE this year with a possibility of having a NAUGHTY moment or two somewhere during the past year.

And all this time I thought you were INNOCENT!

I everyone. Sorry I haven't been on in quite a while.

Just want to pass on some info I got regarding the WB repo as it may relate to our EB repo.

I called to link ressies with another DISer we sailed with this past October and in talking to the CM I asked if they knew which nights they had things planned. She said they didn't have the EB nights set, but she did give me some highlights of the WB theme nights. She said they are working on the EB nights and should be out soon.

Sorry if this info has already been posted, but here is what the CM said for the WB:

Night 3: Formal Night
Aruba: Tropical Night
Night 8: Semi-Formal Night
Acapulco: Mexican Night
Cabo: Pirate Night (this one surprised me since it is NOT in the Caribbean)
Night 14: Ballroom Under the Stars Formal Night

She indicated that they only had 3 formal/semi-formal nights.

I'm not entirely sure we'll be able to see the divers. Keep in mind the excursions listed are for all cruises that stop in the ports, not just our repo. As we get closer to booking time, there will be some designations on the excursion lists, such as specific dates or stating not available on Eastbound reposition. I saw this with the Med repo this summer.

There has been some talk that maybe Disney will be able to get the divers to do a morning show specifically for us. But then that means you'd have to do a Disney excursion. I personally am not getting my hopes up for seeing the divers and will be tentatively making alternate plans.

We did see that before. Makes us all think we will have to bring larger formal wear for the last night. Not sure I'll still fit in my dress at the end of the cruise.

Sorry for the duplication.

This is why it is great to be a guy, the tux pants are adjustable. :rotfl2:

DW has already forewarned me that she will be going shopping for new dresses for this cruise. :scared1:

I have enjoyed seeing everyone's pictures -- this is such a special time of the year.

We had a wonderful Christmas, and are getting ready to head to SoCal on Friday. We will be taking a laptop, so I'm sure I will be checking in on occasion!

Julie have a great trip. :thumbsup2 PM me if you need any info/help. I will be working the days you are here.

Thanks for posting this Jeff! Just yesterday I was trying to remember what had been posted about this and couldn't locate it.

You can hop a cab or even WALK there if you don't mind going about 1.5 miles up a gentle slope - and walking through poor neighborhoods. However, I would not walk it. The cab is pretty cheap (not sure what I paid but it was under $10 as I recall) and there was a fee to get into a better viewing position. My photos from the past were the "free" viewing angles which denied me an view of the impact point. It was extrememly uncomfortable for the kids (way too hot) so we immediately intended to leave after catching a minimal view. HOWever, the cab driver wanted to stop for us shop at a few places. We agreed to stop at one place then insisted on returning to the ship because of the kids. He ended up refusing cab fare back at the boat as a courtesy. Remarkable! Oh yeah... there was a interpreter with our driver and we did buy some stuff where we stopped. Nothing major.

OK... we're awfully late in leaving for Legoland and the Zoo... but I've gotta go now. Be back in a few days.

I have seen them before, they usually have set times in the afternoon and one at night, We are in port early so we will not coinside with any of the set times.

DCL's tor operator will of course contact the cliff divers and for the tours arrange a show, but you cannot guatnaee the time of this or if they will allow you to watch.

When I have been before people who had come by taxi were able to wach, but further back behind a fence.

A good person to ask would be:-
