OK, this was probably answered in the next 6 pages but... he and his wife are having baby! IaN is going to get a new baby sister or baby brother.
David:
You guys are brave bringing a baby w/ you. :)

we cruised with our DD at her first birthday! Babies are easy - toddlers not so much, which we learned from another family we met on the cruise!!! This explains the hiatus we took from cruising!!!!!:)

Far west Del Co.
You near Havre de Grace? I have a brother there.

nope....Much further west...30 miles south of Gettysburg, PA along Rt 15

I grew up in the late 80's Philly. Hung out with my metal friends at the Empire Rock Club on Roosevelt Blvd. Think Hair Bands, Metal Bands....

Best Mosh Pit ever was a Slayer concert we went too..

Worst was Monsters of Rock 1990 at JFK when Metallica took the stage. I was on one side of the field with some friends, before you knew it i was sucked into the middle (they had a tarp on the field and had watered down the crowd; nice combinations) and luckily some guy grabbed me to my feet and i got out of there...

Wow those were the days......

How great is the cheesesteak hoagie?

Hey I know, maybe if we throw some lettuce, tomato & onion on it we can elevate it to a more healthy status.

But I do love that mix of hot and cold on the same roll.

Unfortunately, I think I would have to double my pravachol just to have one.

Yeah, I used to be a punk rock girl eating cheesesteaks, Now I'm just a pravachol poppin soccer mom... oh the inhumanity

My brother got me eating cheesesteak hoagies with mayo, they are messy, but they are to die for!!! YUM!!! YUM!!! I don't go over to Philly, but we have a shop just down the street from us that we order from several times a month. Our ordering out will be slowing down so we can save more $$ for this cruise. Oh my, I'm getting real hungry now!!! :lmao:

Oh, I got another "mini" pirate: and I wasn't even trying. :rotfl:

Hi Guys,

More people from the Philly burbs here. We live just below PHL airport. Sadly, I've lived here for 14 years and have never had a Gino's or a Pat's cheesesteak.

We're stuck with the GTY dilemma too. We have a 6 & an 11, and need them close together. I think on our cruise a few weeks ago, they had to replace the carpet in the hallway. We wore it out going back and forth so much.

Mike
Same here- cat 6 and 11 that need to be close.
I guess if worst came to worst- with so many of us on this cruise and apparently even quite a few of us with this type of situation (cat 6, 11, etc.) -perhaps if we end up with rooms we can't use because they are so far away we can do swapsies with someone else to work out better for both of us. LOL It's a thought! :grouphug:

- goofyforlife- did the transfer cost you mentioned include not only getting to port in Ca but also going from PC to the airport after the cruise? I wonder if they do transfers from airport to DL, DL to port, then port to airport? Oh and I also need to make door signs this time!

DCL told me that cost would cover both transfer to the port from LAX in CA and in FL from the port to MCO. I would assume the cost would not be different if your pickup was from DL to the port.

Boards are realy wacky tonight. I'm seeing quotes before I actually see the original post.

And stop it with all the cheesesteak talk. I can't get a decent one around here. And you all are making me hungry for one. Torture I tell you, torture.

My TA called and we are not able to transfer the reservation from Spring Break 2008 to the EB repo- this means that we have to pay another $1000 and not get the 10% discount or the OBC of $200.. I am not a happy little camper..:crazy2:
GRRRRR.... anyone else have this happen to them??

Another '88 college grad here too! I was on the six year plan though because I decided to get married while still finishing college and it slowed me down a bit. I had to learn to bring home the bacon, fry it up in the pan and never let him forget he's a man! College kind of took a back seat that first year.

I'm still trying to perfect that frying thing!

fry smry....

My DD was born the summer before my Senior year in College. Boy was that a fun year...

i did manage to stay on Dean's List that year but i never did see a frying pan...

DS was 5 months on our first cruise. Quite easy except that the little bugger didn't really pack light! He'll be 3 on this cruise...but at least we can contain the damages to the Oceaneer Club! :scared: :rotfl:

No I was Catholic school girl than Henniget after most of them all closed.. what about you?

You have kids at Baker??

no - DD is in one of the elem schools:)

I graduated from Phoenix in the late 70's - probably much older than you!

ITA agree to BOTH statements. I was going to mention that the posts got switched around, but I also don't see the white banners all the time either & I've already been accused of hitting the rum. "But why is the rum all gone?" pirate:

And I actually started looking for a pic of a cheesesteak (hope that's right) to post & my stomach started growling!

the packing: tell me about it..but we had plenty of room for the return trip after using up diapers and stuff!!!!:) so glad not to be packing a stroller, a car seat, etc....now we make her carry her own stuff - pretty different!
