 WOW! That's waaaaay too ambitious and Type A for me! :faint:

:lmao: I was young & foolish? LOL! It was much cheaper that way. Only $20 per credit hour in the May & summer sessions so I did what I had to do to finish school with the money I had.

1st rule: It's called a "cheesesteak" not "cheese steak".
2nd rule: It's never called a "Philly cheesesteak"
3rd rule: It must be on an Amoroso's roll (though some will allow for fresh baked-onsite rolls)
4th rule: As with religion, politics, sex etc. Never ask a stranger where the best cheesesteak can be had...that's a 4 hour argument!:rotfl:

Rachel said they get very serious about that! You even have to be very careful how you order. Andy I might need to take you wit me! ;)

I know what that means! But only because of Rachel Ray. Sadly I've never had a real Philly cheesesteak wit or witout! That's on my list of things to do before I die. ::yes::

Must...Have...Cheesesteak.

You should do it while your arteries can still withstand the trauma.

Does anyone watch Greys?? Is this their way or getting Burke off the show??
Sorry.. I had to ask...:happytv:

HEY!!! West coasters online! ;) We need to try not to talk about shows until after they have shown there 3 hours later or the next day. :thumbsup2

Well, after the dust settled (ie: Jeff got home late from work and after basketball practice, cheerleading practice, dinner and just got the kids ready for bed) Jeff comes up and says he wants to talk to me. What about? Well he was basically asking "permission" (yeah yeah, we both know who wears the pants in this family. Shut up. :rotfl2: ) to work at some bar in the next town over for some buddy of his (co-worker who also owns this bar) because his bartender is going to a funeral yada yada. (Jeff worked as a bartender MANY MANY moons ago- his parents owned, and still own, several supper clubs in Wi & Mi)
ANYWHO- at first I was all like wha? Do you really think that's a good idea? I mean he's working tomorrow all day and then we have basketball games all day Saturday and all kinds of junk but he's going to work 8pm-2am both Friday and Saturday night?

But then I took a moment to contemplate and thought eh, that's more money for the cruise. Go right ahead dear. :lmao:

Hi Guys,

More people from the Philly burbs here. We live just below PHL airport. Sadly, I've lived here for 14 years and have never had a Gino's or a Pat's cheesesteak.

We're stuck with the GTY dilemma too. We have a 6 & an 11, and need them close together. I think on our cruise a few weeks ago, they had to replace the carpet in the hallway. We wore it out going back and forth so much.

Mike

That's it.....I'm having a cheesesteak hoagie this weekend!!! ::yes:: I'm just across the river from Philly. In fact I can see the PHL Airport from the end of my street.

How great is the cheesesteak hoagie?

Hey I know, maybe if we throw some lettuce, tomato & onion on it we can elevate it to a more healthy status.

But I do love that mix of hot and cold on the same roll.

Unfortunately, I think I would have to double my pravachol just to have one.

Yeah, I used to be a punk rock girl eating cheesesteaks, Now I'm just a pravachol poppin soccer mom... oh the inhumanity

OMG I don't even want to know what that means!!! Though I'm fairly certain I do...

OK, this was probably answered in the next 6 pages but... he and his wife are having baby! IaN is going to get a new baby sister or baby brother.
David:
You guys are brave bringing a baby w/ you. :)

ROFL!!!! Well I graduated a year early. You were just a few behind. ;)

Lisa, I know i tried but sometimes i screw it up..u realize this was a joke...after all my son is 20 and i have been in the Nav for 25 years.... puts me well over 40....:thumbsup2

I'll get better at this promise:)

My Dad used to work a second job at Amoroso's. Every Sunday morning he brought home rolls.

I check out the roll boxes before I'll even consider ordering.
