Just for grins, took a look at the prices for the eastbound vs. westbound repo. Eastbound prices are going up faster than the west. At 9:30 Central, price for 3 adults was:

Cat 5 is 9714.22 on west, 10233.72 on east. Cat 6 is 9514.22 on west, 10033.72 on east. Cat 7 is 9154.22 on east, 8673.72 on west.

By comparison, when the website came up, a cat 5 was 9133.72, cat 6 was 8933.72, cat 7 was 8573.72 on the eastbound.

When we went in 2005, there were families that went both ways. I wish ...

Reading this just makes me dizzy.

I just checked my cat 9 1A 1C it's now $6562.48. Up $2056 at 10:30!:scared1:

Here's my sad little tale...

After 2 hours and 15minutes......My call got disconnected!!!!!!:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

So I just booked online. Cat 6 gty. :cheer2:
If only I had just done that 2 hours ago.
:headache: :headache:

But at least were booked now...now the fun part, how am I going to pay this???????

Sooz :flower: :hippie:

What does the tier pricing thing mean? I've seen it mentioned on a few threads about today's bookings and I don't know what it means.I'm curious to find out- because I'm sure going to be asking my TA, when they call later and let me know how I fared on getting on this cruise, what tier pricing my rooms were at! LOL

That probaly would have been enough to send me over the edge ! Bright side is your booked !:) Save your change and have some garage sales.

You are all welcome to borrow my mantra:

Cleansing Breath In. "Tripofalifetime Tripofalifetime Tripofalifetime."
Repeat as necessary.

OK, wierd picture in my head of pirate practicing yoga on the beach. THERE's a challenge for you Crash!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
"M"---we hadn't issued many challenges as of late but seeing as how it appears to be dying down----great idea.

Oh man. This really has me worried!
If our TA's aren't taking calls from 8am to noon to book all those waitlisted- it would stand to reason they can't call for EACH AND EVERY person first thing. I hope I'm not too far down on the list, because if so, I'm going to pay dearly for it. :(

As each set of rooms are sold it's called a tier at one price. The 2nd tier is more money and 3rd tier ect. It's all based on supply and demand of what % of staterooms gets sold at that time. I didn't ask at what tier my room was because quite frankly I just didn't want to know.

Just saw Cat. 9 for four, price at $7894.96 not to sure about this myself Diane. For three of us in a cat. 9 on opening day for the 2005 TPC cruise the price was $3800. not liking the looks of this at all. :sad2:

Unfortunantly DCL knows that this is popular and they hiked the prices. That along with the double bookings is making this one hard. :sad2:

I think we are out. With this last price jump it is just too much. I should have booked online at 8:05 instead of trying to keep my OBD. I would of saved a couple thousand. I can't seem to make myself hang up but I think that I am out. At least they changed the song.

I must say, I'm not booking this REPO that you guys all are, but your thread has been very entertaining. I've loved watching the pricing increases over the thread pages. I'm so glad you all are keeping your humor. This booking process is absolutely INSANE!!!

We actually have two 7-nighters booked now and will figure out which one to cancel from there.

I really hope you all get what you want at a Tier 1 price!!!

Andy, hope your TA comes through for you!

GOOD LUCK!

Alas, since 5:45AM til now 7:35AM I have only seen the cat 4 go up on-line. Everything else has NOT changed in price. Am I doing something wrong or is this what others are seeing? I do see cabin selection disappearing though.

Where are you guys finding all this? What's gone on what deck, etc?

So here is my rationalization: There are 563 days 'til we sail. That means I am paying the low-low price of just $12.10 a day to hang out with a bunch of pirates for the next 18 months!

Don't worry, I have many more rationalizations where that came from.
