I love him but look at those teeth.

You might be surprised! Some of the questions are really tough!

It's not so much that she would be able to answer every question easily, but the fact that no one in the house has quite the same obsession as her.:rolleyes1

I have used AVG for years. Did you do the recent update or are you using the paid file?

NOOOOOOO Lisa not you too. They have bodysnatched you. Snap out of it!!!!
We talk shopping they talk computers.

Since Crash is out for a while, we need to sneak up and grab that 4000th post!

.

WHAT?????????Lisa you cheater...:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Alright maybe she doesn't and maybe she will get it but better one of us than the boys. Crash will be so ticked if he missed it!!!!

So here is where the conspiracy began....

... shiver me timbers an' batton down the hatches!!!! Where's the plank! Git me the master at arms!!! Arrrgh!!! Where's my cell phone?!!?

windermerejudy You're right.... I was really really amazed (and miffed) that I JUST missed it! Arrgh!

We are moving slow this morning.........Doing homeschool here too and checkin back over here and nothing is happening.

Lisa----you have got to be the best special finder. That is a great savings at Target. Unfortunately since like Arlene said it is in the 30s here in Orlando today----I think I will stay home. UhOH watch those postings go up. You know more than that is when it is cold here in Florida it can never just be still ----the wind is howling which makes it seem so much colder. Can you imagine al those poor tourists. I wonder if they packed thinking it would be sunny and warm.......:)

It is now 31 outside...feels like 22 with the wind chill. I was out 3 hours ago. The puddles from the rain yesterday was ice on the roads this morning. :(

No, we start the last full week of August but the kids will only miss 5 days of school on this repo rather than 13 on the May repo.

We typically start school the first week of August. Not sure what we'll do in August 2008. We homeschool so we can start or stop whenever we chose. Funny thing is that I don't feel like we ever completely stop . . .LOL. We usually do some history and science over the summer b/c it's fun (and to lighten the load a bit through out the rest of the year). In SE Virginia, the mosquito population in August as well as the oppressive heat keeps everyone indoors. Might as well be doing school work so we can enjoy the outdoors in May (while all the public school kids are still in school, mosquitos haven't reproduced, and the weather is spectacular!)

As for kids missing school . . . I'll for it if they are good students. A good student can gain more by being with their family for two weeks on a once in life time vacation. They can always catch up on what they missed. I wish my folks took me out of school!!!!!

Mornin' all! Jusst here for a little while to catch up.
Thanks to all for the congrats on my milestone post.

Ok it's official. I paid down my Disney Visa to get it ready for the Deposit!!!!. They are still offering the shipboard credit as well.

So does Dsiney Visa offer different rewards to different people?? I've been checking for a week & there are currently no rewards listed on the web site. Are they mad at me because I rack up the points & pay in full 2x a month?? I would really like to have the OBC & 6 months no interest. We're going to Hawaii in 6 weeks!!! That $1,000 was going to come in handy. I think this is the first time ever that I haven't seen the 6-months no interest deal.

Awesome pic! How fun was that?:thumbsup2

Thanks! Dog mushing is great! Those are the butts of Iditarod racing dogs. They are insane canines.

My "110" in "Joel110" is an OU reference.

THE BEST BAND IN THE LAND!
I assume you went to OU - when were you there??

We are going to have to share loungers. There are only 4 of them! :confused3

I don't think I'm going to know any of you THAT well - even if we keep up with this pace.

Sounds wonderful!!! :) Pictures??? :goodvibes

Alas, no photos. We know what we look like, so we didn't bother with it. Shopping options up here are slim, so we only need so many photos of me in the same dress standing next to DH in the same suit.

Yeah !!!! Another homeschool mom!!!!!!!

I HATE MY COMPUTERS SPEED TODAY!!!!!!! I have typed out 5 messages and entered them and they are gone. Better do it all in one here.

Joel---your girls are beautiful. Beardies are so sweet and funny. River came froma lady that shows in Colorado. He is 2. My son had wanted to be a junior show-er in agility. That never happened.

At this rate we will still be on this hundred tonight.

ROFL! I can handle that kind of stuff....and talk shopping. LOL! I am so glad that my 6 yo deal on the 20" bike is making DS so happy now. :goodvibes

Forget about placing Mickey Bar bets on the # of posts Wed. Let's pick more realistic scenarios, like how long will it take to submit one post & how many times the board will crash. You know all the DISers are going to blame us!!

OK, I'm off to work. Hi-ho and whatnot.

Trying, and not being very successful, to catch up.....found this for BuddyBear...sorry if someone beat me to it

I know this has been discussed before but honestly I never paid attention.
So no harsh debates just curious o.k ? Most people going on the east repo the kids don't have school till after labor day right?:confused3

If your child was in high school would you feel comfortable having them miss the first week of school?:confused3

It's not like well you can just go a different time, they only have the one east repo. Thanks :)

My son will be missing the first week of 8th grade. So far he's been an excellent student and has always been able to make up for lost days. We'll see how 7th grade treats him and if his grades start falling next year, I may rethink the cruise.

Thank you Andy!!:thumbsup2

I thought you were away then and couldn't do it for us.

I was........I got this off the Two Palms cam archives this morning!!! :rotfl2:

Five pages to catch up on......here's goes my lunchtime!!! :lmao:

Is this better? :confused3

And ... with this post I make the 300th contribution to our emerging monument to Pirate Madness!
