Wow! You guys have been chatty! Happy Monday, it's 12* here. brrrrrrr...

Okay CJS line for the night

The only rules that really matter are these: what a man can do and what a man can't do. For instance, you can accept that your father was a pirate and a good man or you can't. But pirate is in your blood, boy, so you'll have to square with that some day. And me, for example, I can let you drown, but I can't bring this ship into Tortuga all by me onesies, savvy? So, can you sail under the command of a pirate, or can you not?

What say you !

Tortuga!

After Cold Case there was absolutely nothing good on, so I poped in POCDMC. Got an hour into it. There are still somethings I can't figure out!

Since so many of you are much more computer savvy than I, what would you recommend for a good picture/graphics program that isn't too expensive? I have a gizilliion slides from childhood to scan and Corel draw is on my new laptop. Something that would help improve sharpness.

Well, gotta get to work!

I know this has been discussed before but honestly I never paid attention.
So no harsh debates just curious o.k ? Most people going on the east repo the kids don't have school till after labor day right?:confused3

If your child was in high school would you feel comfortable having them miss the first week of school?:confused3

It's not like well you can just go a different time, they only have the one east repo. Thanks :)

I think that is something you wold have to discuss with your child. I would love to do the EB Med and take the kids out for the last 6 weeks of school (could homeschool them), but DD screams no. She also doesn't want to miss two weeks for the WB PC Repo, especially for other things she would miss occuring then. Is it their first year? I would say go for it if your child is comfortable with it.

Catch up ya later. Hope it's not tooooo long!

Ok it's official. I paid down my Disney Visa to get it ready for the Deposit!!!!. They are still offering the shipboard credit as well.If this doesn't work out on Wednesday, then that Visa will be very busy in the next month to compensate:rotfl:
Off to the kitchen to rustle up some food and prepare for my 10 hour day:surfweb: Hopefully the inmates won't be too outrageous today.
Judy, I work for a bank, altho we sometimes wonder. My deskmate and I are thinking of coming out with a book.It would be hilarious to repeat the insane things people say and do.
My DH tell me it freezing outside. Temp in Longwood currently 39. Now for us Floridians that's cold. Plus add an airtight building with ac pumping regularly and I better break out the gloves today and bring the hoodie:rotfl:

Wow! What happened to Global Warming?

Good morning everyone! The kids made it to school seconds before the bell rang. :scared1: DS wasn't being very cooperative this morning. OY! :sad2: I hit Tarjay on the way home & scored some 75% gloves to have on hand just in case my good ones are lost along with a couple of GBA games that were also 75%. :) DS will enjoy the SW revenge of the sith & a centipede combo with 2 other games. :woohoo: More Christmas gifts to put away!

Lil Grumpy, it is always a hoot to find one of your posts here when I check out the boards in the morning. You make me laugh. :lmao: I think that you fit in just fine here.

We are moving slow this morning.........Doing homeschool here too and checkin back over here and nothing is happening.

Lisa----you have got to be the best special finder. That is a great savings at Target. Unfortunately since like Arlene said it is in the 30s here in Orlando today----I think I will stay home. UhOH watch those postings go up. You know more than that is when it is cold here in Florida it can never just be still ----the wind is howling which makes it seem so much colder. Can you imagine al those poor tourists. I wonder if they packed thinking it would be sunny and warm.......:)

I am working on downloading pictures of the menus from the last TPC repo cruise. :) They should be up on the site if it is back later today.

Can it go any sloooooooweeeeeeer this morning????? This is painful! I might just go take out the scrapbook stuff & try to organize that.

okay one more for the night ..

Long ago lived a seaman named Captain Bravo. He was a manly man who showed no fear in facing his enemies. One day, while sailing the seven seas, a look-out spotted a pirate ship and the crew became frantic. Captain Bravo bellowed, ''Bring me my Red Shirt.'' The First Mate quickly retrieved the captain's red shirt and whilst wearing the bright red frock he led his men into battle and defeated the pirates.

Later on that day, the look-out spotted not one, but two pirate ships. The captain again called for his red shirt and once again, though the fighting was fierce, he was victorious over the two ships. That evening, all the men sat around on the deck recounting the day's triumphs and one of the them asked the captain, ''Sir, why do you call for your red shirt before battle? The captain replied, ''If I am wounded in the attack, the shirt will not show my blood and thus, you men will continue to fight, unafraid.''

All of the men sat in silence and marveled at the courage of such a manly man as Captain Bravo. As dawn came the next morning, the look-out spotted not one, not two, but TEN pirates ships approaching from the far horizon. The crew stared at the captain and waited for his usual reply.

Captain Bravo calmly shouted, ''Get me my brown pants.''

OU Halloweens :drinking1 and Bearded Collies? I'm afraid you guys are just setting us up for disappointment on Wednesday :scared: if we don't get a cabin. Are the deck chairs and a blanket still an option :confused3 ? My "110" in "Joel110" is an OU reference.

We have two Beardies. Here's Bailey:

Well...

... we got eighty tickets... and the kids got 2 toy tops (estimated value = $0.25 each).

Crash, do you know that you can pay the difference for the toy that the kids really want instead of getting a bunch of junk? ;) I found that out last year. It is basically a penny a point/ticket.
