My sister just agreed to join us! I'm so excited! My college-aged son has not made up his mind, though. It would involve missing the first few days of his junior year.

Guess I will now need two cabins!

Castoff: I would post a picture from Carmine's, but I still don't have one of those photo accounts. I did take a pic of my friend with the "Titanic"

Crash: I LOVE the pic with your daughter over the railing! That is so adorable!

I know this is way early but how many of you manly pirates will be wearing tuxes? I would imagine that on a repo with two formal and two semi formal nights the number would be higher than a regular cruise.

I have never worn a tux and don't plan to start while on vacation. I am in a Kenny Chesney / Jim Buffets state of mind where everyday should be spent wearing shorts, T-shirts, no shoes, and at least one Margarita.

We have actually never used this service and I do not know if it would have a higher cost for a 2 week cruise versus a 1 week but...according to the PP it usually runs $85-120. They give a website & phone number for the company that DCL uses. They may be able to answer your questions better than me.

Busy, busy weekend, DH left earlier for Dallas til Wed night, and my computer (well, the internet) is driving me nuts!!

Well, before the stress began I was going to post about how proud I am of DS. I found a note in his backpack tonight. He was voted as the student of the month for his classroom. This is what the kids wrote to turn in with his name.

William is our student of the month for January. He always tries his best. We voted for William because he never gives up. He helps others with schoolwork, but he also helps others when they're feeling unhappy. He is an excellent student.

How wonderful! Now you take that note (or a copy) and put it in a folder labeled "happy thoughts." When you are having those stressed moments, take the folder out and read what you have put in there. It can really put things in perspective!

Of course, don't forget to pat yourself on the back. I am sure your good example helped develop the kind and caring young man who is the student of the month.
