Well, between a slow connection this morning & the guilt from watching DH wash the cars & work outside along with the call of the mounting pile of ironing I must go for a while. Duty calls.

Wow I never feel guilty watching Melissa wash her car :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Todd, you are so bad!:rotfl2:

No problem the navisgators for the day is also very good with times at each lock, albeit subject to change, do not know if its been posted before but a very interesting fact, no pumps, at all, all the water for PC comes from the rain, fills the rivers and lakes and then is used by gravity to go through the locks, and then is lost to sea.

You would expect it to have some pumps but no all by controlling natural flow.

That is truely amazing! Hope they never have a drought.;)

HEY----

This darn thing is finally gonna let me in. So finally "HI"

Had an incredibly busy weekend. Glad its over. WHEW!!!!!

Ok now if this thing lets me now its time to respond....................

Hey all!
Just having a lazy Sunday afternoon... Decided to get out the DL castle and let DS5 help me set it up:
DCP_2073.jpg

It has a Dumbo ride, Peter Pan flight, Tea cups and a couple others as well as a train that is battery operated and travels in and around the castle triggering the rides to work.
It is MY toy, I don't share very often for fear of it getting broken or any of the tiny characters getting lost!:tinker: ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo princess:
Now I think I just might go over to Blockbuster and get POC II... maybe I can keep up around here better!
Marcy

AWWWWWWW!!! I had forgotten we had this too. Unfortunately my kids beat it up when they were little that it bit the dust. Congrats on being smart and keeping it up high.

Hi, As you can see I'm from that other side. :)

I know this is way early but how many of you manly pirates will be wearing tuxes? I would imagine that on a repo with two formal and two semi formal nights the number would be higher than a regular cruise.

Thanks

I totally love your banner! WAY COOL!!!!! Good job WB!!!!

On the first panama canal cruise DH and I did buy a REAS add-on. They are $339 per couple. Does not appear you can purchase them for the Med. Repo. cruises this year. A question to ask if you book a cabin.

Vow renewals on DCL are about the most expensive in the cruising industry. For a 7 night cruise the vow renewal is $2400-$4400. Not sure what they would charge on a 15 night cruise.

Okay I know I am sometimes a dumb blonde and I have been on these boards for awhile now but I still do not know what the REAS is. Can anyone help?

What the heck do you get for 2400-4400 and why would it be higher on a longer cruise?

Judy, the REAS package is the Romantic Escape At Sea. :)

Here is a thread with pictures of what you get. You also get to book at 105 days. :)

No Diane, not me.......just read my last post again, I've been busy with household chores and a sick DD.

I have a $$ limit to what I can spend for the Repo Cruise, if the quote comes in higher than that, then it just wasn't meant for us to go. Just trying to hold me breath until sometime on Wednesday!!!

DD is headed for the bathroom at top speed, this doesn't look good folks.

I hope she is feeling better Andy.

As for price, I hope your limit is generous.;)

And there she goes........................

:lmao: Now we get to watch Judy catch up on posts.

I was thinking of this costume to be Scarlett from the POTC ride. Do you think people will know who I am or will they think I got my theme nights mixed up & thought it was a Civil War party! :rotfl:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

OK...I understand my confusion. I have always referred to Port Canaveral as "PC" so when others refer to the Panama Canal as "PC" what I am reading doesn't make any sense.

I really didn't understand why all the water from PC comes from the rain...I thought it came from the Atlantic Ocean. :confused3 OK... I guess some of it come from the rain ;)

Romance....whats that??:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: With 3 kids in tow????:rotfl2: No seriously every time we thought we would have alone time someone wanted us to pick them up or go somewhere. In other words my normal role of taxidriver did not change---I just had no car.

:lmao:

I have never worn a tux and don't plan to start while on vacation. I am in a Kenny Chesney / Jim Buffets state of mind where everyday should be spent wearing shorts, T-shirts, no shoes, and at least one Margarita.

Jeff you would fit in here with us just fine. Thats one thing I love about Florida.

Can't quite do the no shoes, no shirt, no problem..........2 out of 3 aint bad.

Count me in!

I've so enjoyed reading this thread! I hope to be sailing and meeting all of you at some time during the cruise. Even if it's while we are doing laundry!

...I am going to have to do at least two loads of wash this cruise...no way around it I am afraid. Maybe we can have minimeets in the laundry room or out in the hall if it gets too humid in there. :lmao:

Good luck to all on the 31st!!!
