Rather than bring a dinner-suit / tux from the UK for me and my DS14 for this cruise, we will possibly consider renting BUT will there be a problem with one-way rental (rent in California and return in Florida)?

Is it possible ?? :confused3

David

The rental can be arranged thru DCL. The tux will be in your room when you board. :thumbsup2

If they go by the last schedule, pirate night was the 2nd Wednesday of the cruise.

Thats okay Melissa thinks I look sexy with me scruff ...LOL So was that a Sea Day ???? It would help .....The only reason I usally shave is because of the fact I have to dye it for Pirate Night ....I am hoping to run across some temporary stuff that will wash out that will look right ....So far the Just For Men is the only thing that I have found that looks right ...

POST SUMMARY 3501 - 4000:

- BABW will be having a run on pirate costumes this year.
- Stinasmom will be supplying us with quick, easy, & inexpensive recipies to help us all save up for the final payment on the cruise.
- The Captain was shocked that some of the crew have yet to see POC or POCDMC.
- To tux or not to tux on formal night. One thing suggested for the group website is a list of boy's tuxes for sale.
- The navigator overview from the 2005 PC cruise for reference. #3655
- The crew continues to grow!
- The boards went down!!!!!!!!!!
- Judy pirated post #4000 while catching up from the weekend. Girls 3 Men 1 pirate:

Hey your getting ahead of the game ...we havent reached 4k yet ...lol

The May 2007 repo has dropped in price due to low sales. They have also been giving outstanding onboard booking deals....a 250 room credit, 10%, & tips prepaid. The best deal is kids sail free only paying port fees & taxes!!!! :)

I looked at the cat 10 & 8 for the westbound to get a more realistic idea. Without tranfers & insurance the 10 for 2A & 2K is 7000. The 8 is at 9000.

I had to look twice at the sweeteners DCL has out on the repo sailings. Wow! But the prices also seem a bit stiff too.

Thanks!:thumbsup2 I wonder if the price will be higher for a two week rental?

I wouldnt think so ....time shouldnt be the issue with price ....go to cruiselineformal.com they can answer all your questions

Hey Captain, I do I get brownie points? I have both DVD's of POTC 1 & 2,
2 disc editions! Every time I put one on dd says,"Are you watching that again?"

Well I have to go and fold laundry down stairs and finish the dishes. I also have to type up letters for the school principal for a fund raiser we are having that ends 1/31. I will be happy when it's over! Check back later.

Well I am Back on my CPU ...I am putting some new anti stuff on here to avoid any more BS ...

Why would we have to wait till the second week ????

pirate:

Glad you recovered your CPU... intact. Now - there is an external 1TB Raid array on sale at circuit city for $400 after a $50 rebate! The deal expires on 2/3... and I think you buy it online and pick up in stores. Of course, you mentioned that you had a RAID drive set to position 1... but did it survive the past event? I thought it did not make it? Anyways, here is the description :

CompUSA.com has the Maxtor OneTouch III Turbo Edition: 1TB (TeraByte) External Hard Drive w/ 16MB Buffer for $450 - $50 rebate [Exp 2/3] = $400, in-store pickup only. Supports USB 2.0/1.1 and FireWire 400/800. Includes software for Data

Thanks for the info - I've added it to my fav's for future reference. What a shame they don't rent ladies wear, looks like I'll have to take up the space we can save renting the tuxes buy packing my dresses!:lmao:

On the first panama canal cruise DH and I did buy a REAS add-on. They are $339 per couple. Does not appear you can purchase them for the Med. Repo. cruises this year. A question to ask if you book a cabin.

Vow renewals on DCL are about the most expensive in the cruising industry. For a 7 night cruise the vow renewal is $2400-$4400. Not sure what they would charge on a 15 night cruise.

All knowing one,:worship: Do you know an approximate cost? :goodvibes

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: See, they didn't call me the Empress of the DISGeeks for nothing. ;) We have actually never used this service and I do not know if it would have a higher cost for a 2 week cruise versus a 1 week but...according to the PP it usually runs $85-120. They give a website & phone number for the company that DCL uses. They may be able to answer your questions better than me.
