We did get the Mazda cx-7 last week. Beautiful red and all the bells & whistles any girl or guy would want in a car. Chuck has been the one driving it everyday.

I shouldn't complain because my Subaru only has 44,000 miles on it. After all the medical bills and with me working more steadily, I might buy another one. This time looking at a Honda cx.

So ....

.... in a harmless spat of juvenile delinquincy we ran from posting # 79,665 at 7:53PM on my DIS clock to 80,000 in an hour plus 1 minute. That's roughly ONE new posting every 10.925 seconds for the past hour! Imagine - if we kept this up for the next 6 months (329.6 postings an hour) then we would add 1,423,440 postings to the 80,000 we have now. Anyone up fer THAT? OK... I didn't think so either....

And so, the 80,000th honors went to a Swabbie : MIKE as evidenced below! OK... so whos' idea was this anyway? As it is safe for me ta say it was NOT mine... I am indeed as innocent of this as the purest driven winter snow!

When do your children start school, Andrew? If you have to fly back right away, it might be tricky to work WDW in before you head back. I thought I remembered they might be missing a bit of school for the repo, but I could be wrong. Why not come just after Christmas in 2008 instead -- or in 2007, staying through New Year's day 2008? The parks are decorated beautifully!

P.S., if we make it to DL as we have planned on Dec. 28, we will have visited three parks this year -- WDW last year over New Year's, DLP this summer after our Med cruise and before the repo, and then DL for New Year's this year . . .

They are back on Wednesday 3rd September, I fly back the night of September 1st so I have a day to kill in Orlando. or most of it, we of course arrive back on Tuesday 2nd, with jet lag.

Paris is far easlier a direct train from London and two and half hours later ''under'' the Disneyland parks at Paris.
