And I think us "novices" still stand half a chance with a good camera.....at least with digital, we can delete the bad ones! We're bound to get some great shots, though.
I like that. The law of averages are on our side.

I have a Nikon Point and Shoot I like but always think I want a DSLR but I am afraid I would just get tired of dragging it around.
That and after having a Nikon for 5 years I still cannot figure out the settings.
I have some wonderful pictures of a perfect fishing pole and a COMPLETELY out of focus whale in the background.
