Hey, Andy, when I was looking for pics last night, a lot of the DCL ones were from your pic collection!

How are your knees holding up with this crazy Jersey weather?

Yesterday was a bad day with all the morning rain and chilly winds, today has been much better, thank goodness!!! I had the heating pad wrapped around my right knee for a few hours last night, but I haven't had to use it at all today!!! :thumbsup2

Aging is so much fun.................NOT!!!

OK Stace. That's it. Just get better already!

I figured I would try a different approach to see if it works.
If not, I'll go back to hugs and dust and whatnot.

Been trying to back-track and ketchup...just found this.

I have to say, it must have worked. The kick in the pants either I or my doctor needed. I am now allowed to take baby steps with the boot and a walker. Therapy starts Tuesday. Have a compression sock on and the swelling is down approximately 50% already. Once I took the first few steps I felt like I'd won the lottery!!!

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: While I found the above to be positively hysterical, Bo ( the one who was just neutered) doesn't seem to see the humor in it at all..........:rotfl: :rotfl:

Now STACE,

Yaa-Nooo we'll be rootin' for you with a tremendous chorus of Encouragement!

I believe I HAVE heard some cheering...and it HELPS!!

I know I've been a bit of a whiner these past 5 weeks, and I do apoligize for that......but I can't begin to tell you how good it feels to be finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!!

I only kept it on him till the stitches came out, about a week. Give Bo a Smoochie from me and Harley!

I think our Vet made a mistake in giving MR HYPER the "melting" kind of stitches. He doesn't have to go back in unless he has a problem.

We gave up on the E-Collar (or Flashlight collar...;) ) and tried using a rolled up towel as a cervical collar (on the vet's advice) and now instead of that, he's wearing a "Doggie Diaper". We had to remove the E-Collar because he was having some kind of allergic reaction and was miserable with his face all swollen....

OOPS..sorry...TMI.....

Anyway, he also appears to be healing nicely.

What with the run for the Milestone, and the Pirate Scavenger hunt, it didn't take me nearly as long to Ketchup as I thought it would.

ANDY....didn't we just nurse you through one miserable cold winter?? Is it that time of year again already? DRATS!! I'm so sorry! Take care of those knees.

Crash....did you get Milestone post #77,000 at the same time as your 7000th DIS post????

You'd better find a casino somewhere!

We need Dis Pirate LifeAlert!

Hey Strangers - I had to pirate: this as it was put so eloquently. I am still alive here and just killing some time. Haven't been on here in over a month and was wondering if I should try and keep up. Looks like Stace's post answered my questions. Hope everyone is doing well and hopefully I'll be checking in more often.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Congrats you stinkin', sneakin' swabbie.

I hope that you booked this cruise for yourself because I see nothing near these price ranges when I log into the Disney web site (not that I could go during this time period, but I could DREAM). This would make a great 50th birthday present.

It's with other TAs. Mine sent me that email last week as well.

It's another nice day here. Again we slept with the windows open last night. It's such a nice break fromthe A/C being on all the time. It's off to work in a bit :surfweb:

Stace, glad to see you are starting to walk. Those boots are heavy.
My DGS is wearing one now and he was at WDW yesterday with it on. His friends Mom took 6 boys age 11-12 to the park. :scared1: The only call DD got was to tell her he rode Space Mountain 3x.And that was in the am.

Actually, anyone can get that price. It's for a category 12 with no insurance and no transfers. Disney's site defaults to including both. Once you take them off, that's the price you get.
