I was reading meters that are on the outside of the residents homes. Many of these readers and or touch pad meters are behind bushes. As I was climbing behind one such bush I noticed the poison ivy, I was hoping I hadn't come in contact with it, my luck didn't hold out...............:sad2:

The worst case of Poison Ivy my DH ever got was from changing out a gas meter. It finally took an RX to get rid of it. Good Luck.

I totally agree with your sentiments!!! I went on my first cruise and had a great time.

I discovered the Dis Board for my second cruise(10 Wonder).I really met some great people on my second cruise!!! I consider some of these people friends for life!!! Isn't that right Step 5 and Daipp?????:confused3 I felt like I was part of a huge family and help was only a Dis person away!!:yay:

That's correct Cheryl !! :wave2:

Helen was reading your letter again last night coincidentally !

David

well, if she has never seen them before she is in for a treat!! We have decided to head on in since it looks like they won't cancel them until they absolutely have to. We will already be in town anyway. Just gonna bring my poncho :thumbsup2

No, she has not seen them before -- I'll keep my fingers crossed that they go off as planned.

Yeah, I was thinking last night it was getting closer to my speed:cool1:

With work, the kids and recooping from surgery in April I've been overwhelmed. I'm just starting to feel normal again:goodvibes

DH and I have plans to go to WDW for a weekend in July to celebrate our anniversary. It's number 15 so we are splurging on the Grand Floridian and Victoria and Alberts:banana:

(We went to V&A a few years back and were hooked:love: )

We have hopper passes from the last trip and plan to see a bit more of EPCOT this time. If we survive the heat:eek:

Wow, what surgery? Nothing serious, I hope. Your trip to WDW with your husband sounds wonderful (although I will agree that Orlando summer heat can be oppressive, and then there are the afternoon huge t-storms!). THe girls and I are getting ready to head to the Magic on the Med for the July 28 sailing, then are going to Paris and DL Paris for 10 days, then taking the 14 night repo back to the States. A little more time on the ship that we had with you last August!

I watched the end of Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest a little bit ago. Joey Chestnut from the USA won the title with a world record breaking feat of eating 66 hot dogs and buns in 12 minutes. The old record was 59 and 1/2 hot dogs and buns.

That's disgusting. But it's one of my son's goals in life. Boys...go figure.

We were at a church "share-a-meal" luncheon once, and Jared ate 12 hotdogs. He's not very good at sharing. :sad2:

Oh boy, we are under a tornado watch until 10pm tonight............

 Arlene--actually, I have been up since about 3:30am. I have a bad case of poison ivy  that I caught at work the other day. Aveno is helping with the itching, but I was very uncomfortable trying to sleep last night. I did get in a 15 minute nap around 8:30 this morning..................:)

I'm sorry to hear of your encounter with poison ivy Andy. I can imagine how annoying it must be to have such an itchy situation. I don't have much experience with it - so I can only wish you well in the most expeditious manner!

I must say... 66 hot dogs is like eating 5.5 packs of hot dogs in TWELVE MINUTES... plus the buns?!?!? I think little Joey is not only ill in the stomach today but also a bit in need of psychiatric counseling... Lil' G!!!! .... we have a patient for ya.....!!!!

mickice.jpg

Ya suppose we should changing my 3rd unofficial Mickey Ice Cream Speed Eating Contest into the FIRST contest for who can eat the most Mickey Bars in say 5 minutes???

Stace--

That made me LOL. My DS went through 3 hot dogs today and he's only 6. I shudder to think what he'll do when he's older!

I don't dare show my little girl this...

especially at FIFTY bucks!

...it is cute and original looking!

Wow....only $50? That's reasonable for a boutique custom outfit on ebay.

(As I silently say a prayer of thanks that my DD is too old for that style...)
