Those are my 2 favorite shows!

Although must admit - I saw something that I tivo'd last night - anyone watch NCIS? The episode where the brother (who's a pack mule) gets hit with a taxi and is hospitalized? Well, 1/2 way through I was thinking - gross if this thing happens. Well, what happens? The thing I never expected to be seen on public TV! It was actually kinda gross - not nasty porn type just nasty.

OK - I will be 42 on this cruise next year - may I graciously ask that you not sit next to me on that cruise? I don't want to end up looking like this - or else your DH might have to extract some sharp pointy thing from your back.

I'm glad I'm busy getting stuff together for the Transatlantic cruise - that's fun. So glad you all understand - one of my friends wondered why I'm going on a Disney cruise w/our kids!!!

And, it keeps my mind off my shoulder - I have to go to an Orthopedist and have an MRI - apparently the first diagnosis wasn't accurate (I was back yesterday) and they suspect I have something torn!! Bummer!!

As it is, he's already planning on having navigational charts and a GPS to plot our progress - as a lesson in navigation for the boys. I figure it'd be a better lesson if we could find someone who knows how to use a sextant. Now, that's a lesson, even I might be interested in.

There is a channel on the TV in the stateroom that gives you the longitude and latitude of the ship all day, every day. On our third cruise I kept a journal record throughout the week about 10 to 15 times a day. I even set the alarm to write it down once during the night. When I returned home I plotted the course we took.

To add to our groundhog lore, a cemetery here in Metro Detroit has a problem with groundhogs breaking in to caskets and nesting there. Many families are upset that the groundhogs are digging up the remains.

I was engaged at 18 and married at 19.

I let dh get the grey hair! We are young 45/46 -- we were still teenagers when we married and had our first child.

I thought I would be married to John when we graduated high school. Uncle Sam had other plans for DH. He was drafted in the Army. We waited two years til he got out. We were just fortunate that he was not sent to Viet Nam.

i truly believe, it's a blessing in apppricating all the beautiful art forms,
per say..."take what you can"....is based on real treasure "chests'...
like all the wenches here, producing imaging of fantasy...like the song,
a magic carpet ride...has all the swabbies scambling for excellent
vantage points...AYE, CAPTAIN J., being shouted out loud! for the
cruise of a life time....

HEY...cpt. crash...i did get "your interview"..but i had major diasters
with my dvd camera.......we lost major parts of the 11-nighter....
due to defective dvds'..... , & while your part is not very good
quality.....i might be able to transfer it.." but its not very long...
however....you was excellent in it! , it just a lil'dark
but you & rona..sure were funny!

I never knew you were on the 11 nighter on the Wonder. It was a toss up between the 10 or the 11. The 10 day one out because of the $500 shipboard credit.

Well, ya'll I am off to get the movies tkts and hopefully pack our bags for tomorrow before the show. If all goes well, I should be able to join you in chat tomorrow night from VA. I told my friend I was taking my laptop with me cause the motel has internet and I like the Fri chats. She thinks I'm crazy! Am I or do I just have DISitis?

Well the transformation has begun .......3 1/2 hours before I leave ...My sweet Melissa is taking step by step pictures so I can post the transformation pictures tomorrow ...I will also have some pics from opening night .....

I know I'm getting old & my eyes are blurring but I don't even wanna tell you what I thought that said. Must be all the posts from yesterday.

This makes me feel better since my 5dd just told me that when she's my age she is going to look just like me...I asked her how I looked and she said *All wrinkily*
When I'm smiling you can't see my wrinkles since they are all laugh lines!
I tell my children that I have had a very happy life!

Yep I use that on my family too..."laugh lines" but somehow they're not buying it.

We love L&O and CSI as well as NCIS. I also like Criminal Minds it's kinda like L&O:CI

We saw the NCIS you're talking about!! Freaked DW out because it was indeed the last thing you'd expect!

Paris! We will have 5 days in Paris near the Tour Eiffel and 5 more at DL Paris. We had planned this already for the 10 days following getting off the 10 day cruise on Aug 18, so just had to change the dates. What's more, I checked my reservations tonight and it looks like we got secret porthole rooms for both cruises . . . I am feeling very lucky tonight.

Just got back from the early showing and I have to agree! It was longer than I was expecting (boy, am I going to be dragging tomorrow) and there were some BIG surprises! It was much more intense than I was expecting. I'm glad I saw it right away; I think I'll try to see it again this weekend!
