Yes & Yes :thumbsup2 Brooke is really shy but I really think it would be a good idea if she would finally get on these boards. As long as she doesn't read what Mom says.:rotfl2:

We are getting one going for the Med cruise now. It helps the kids, my son found three pen freinds at the sailaway party first afternoon.

I'm glad you brought this up. I just told my kids that we were going. And, since I came out of hiding & changed my picture in the siggie, they now know what I'm doing on line.

My 10 y/o DS asked if he could talk to other kids. Do you have a title in mind?

I would suggest one based on my old thread for kids for the 2005 repo.

http://www.disboards.com/showthread....20/2005+KIDS

I put up some rules to protect them.

This is also Roman Numeral for 1,000 for my posts on this thread :thumbsup2

Well done on 57kpirate:

I have actually already set up a message board for the kids. It is password protected so we don't have to worry about trolls or anyone reading what they post. If you guys would like to start using it I will send out an email with the sign up info. There is a forum for each of the club age groups.

Yes please.

My 30 year old niece says "Cool Beans" all the time, and I catch myself saying once in awhile...................:rotfl:
LOL! I like you, man.

BIP...so glad to see you back!!! Hope you're doing very well!
Thanks! And I am! :)

Gee and here all my dd has is a "Happy Feet" rap video on hers......
LOL Well these kids are older.. one my dd's age (13) and the other 16 or almost 17 maybe... can't remember her birthday. Wait she might be 17 now I think her birthday was in Dec. They are past the age of "digging" Happy Feet. LOL

Nope. I finally found yours and sent you a PM with my URL. I also asked to be your friend. You have done a great job on the site!
Thanks! I had to figure out how to do HTML and hurt my brain doing it all that first night I signed up (literally gave myself a migraine) but I finally figured it out! I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks!

ITA that it is completely different watching a movie at home on a smaller screen & with the volumn turned down to a resonable level than watching it in a theater with surround sound. When DS first watched HPI he didn't like the scene with the screaming book or the dog barking so we muted those parts. He could watch it without the sound & be fine though....go figure! LOL!

Todd posted a while ago that JD is already negotiating for POC 4 & 5. He is already committed to two other films first so there will be a couple years inbetween 3 & 4.
Yep, exactly... watching movies at home with the kids is better for a lot of reasons.

Oh no... I'd rather have a POC a lot sooner but hmmm, what other two films is he committed to? Maybe they'll get me thru till the next POC. LOL

I like the watching DVDs of scary stuff with kids at home because you can stop them too. Take a break or just talk about it.

The backspace key (on IE) does the same thing as clicking with the back button with the mouse. So when the blue screen comes up with "now taking you to your post" message, if you hit backspace (on keyboard) or back (with mouse) once, you get your Reply to Thread screen, hit it a second time and you are right back where you hit "quote" the first time (unless you are on firefox, then you are at top of page where you hit quote).

I'm not great at explaining IT stuff, but can do and show fairly well.

Okay I'm confused. Are y'all giving directions like this for MY benefit? because if so, I know how to get where I was originally, I just prefer not to do individual quotes and go back where I was and keep doing that repeatedly. Sorry

Hello All :wave2:
* Update Warning and it's a downer. *
First- Thank you for the birthday wishes. Not much of a celebration here but there is worse things in life. My DD Brooke is devastated. She dropped Dante last night and he got hurt bad. After talking with the vet last night, he told me to bring him in first thing this morning. Dante will be spending the night in the hospital as he needs a implant in his knee. Can you relate Andy?

Between the hernia operation and this one which is more major, I see us just spending our TOAL money on other things.:sad1: Dante is not only a member of this family but my child and Brooke is the big sister. I have never been so attached to one animal before in my life. It hurts us so much to see him in pain and not able to walk.

Brooke has a teeth cleaning today and we have a home inspection this afternoon. I am feeling a little overwelmed and can't wait till this is all over with.

needed to vent, thanks for listening.

Oh no, I'm so sorry! I hope Dante is going to be okay! I know what you mean about your pet being a part of the family. I don't even want to think about what I'd do if something happened to Tramp... banish the thought! Praying Dante is okay!

pirate: ing to say Happy Birthday ...

I like it!

When DS was little he didn't want to do anything that was "Cool" for some reason we could never explain he didn't get that being cool was a good thing. He liked being different. I always had to be careful because I would tell him this or that was so cool and then he wouldn't have any part of it.
LOL
My son is so the opposite of yours.
He always wants to be "cool"- he just doesn't always know what cool is. LOL
He got a new haircut tonight though and he thinks he's WAY COOL now. :rotfl:

I just showed my DD that I now have Verandah Man saying for serious & she informed that I have it wrong. It's "Are you for cereal?" Geez I'm so old I can't even get their sayings right. :confused3 :rotfl:
What in the world??
I'm way too old for are you for cereal.

What kind of saying is "Are you for cereal?" I think I liked "Are you for serious?" better.............:rotfl2:
Ditto

Okay still trying to catch up but wanted to post this in case the board is going to go down for a bit...

Hi Laura, How is my table mate doing???:confused3

I say coooooool too. I used that from the 60's!!! or groovy.

Hi Cheryl - I'm doing good - tired today but I'm alive - did Pam tell you the answer about the Med Cruise? Yes, I am on the same cruise with Andrew and another person - DisneyLover5 I believe - although she posts on the WB Repo - she is also doing that one. So, needless to say - I am going to be one busy bee next year. :thumbsup2 :cool1:

Good Morning All :wave2:
Well my sheets are being washed now. My baby had an accident last night.:dog: The funny thing is I put him in his little bed on my bed, sometime during the night he hobbled out of his bed and just wen't on my bed. When I woke up this morning he was in is own bed.:rolleyes1

I am just glad he wen't. Last month when he had his hernia operation he wouldn't go and I had to bring him back and they put fluids in him and well something else. Then he was going a drop here and there for 2 days. It was awful.

I am charging my batteries now and if it's not TMI I will take a pic of him and post. I also need it for his scrapbook.

Time to ketchup and I have the time to do it.:surfweb:

:cheer2: :cheer2: Now just convince DD to join.

Or try the saying from "Mean Girls"...That's so FETCH...
Thanks, I learn something new everytime I come on this thread. I hope when I say it Dante doesn't look at me like?:confused3 because I didn't throw anything.:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I was watching AI and playing ketchup.
I was only asking because of the pirate: run. If I couldn't get it I would at least like another wench to get it.:thumbsup2

I was talking with some neighbors down the street when DS rode up on his bike with something in his hand. :scared: He let it drop...it was a snake skin taller than him!!!! :scared1: He found it outside the garage door. :scared1: :scared: :scared1: It is at least 5 feet long. :sad1: :scared:
:scared1: Yikes I don't see any of those things where I live.

  Hope Dante gets to feeling better soon.
Thank You, :flower3:

We showed our house to our first perspective renters today. Seemed to go pretty well. Assorted crossed appendages are in order.
Yet, not nearly so sad when a wench has a premature pirate post.

I din't realize you were renting out your house. Good luck, I almost think that's harder then just selling it.

Hey I am just a pirate: trying to take what I can.:rotfl2:

:surfweb:

GM pirate:

Presently 64 going up to 89 here in Sunny Central Florida.

 :grouphug: pixiedust: and prayers to everyone who is going to need it todayl

:welcome: aboard to all the newbies.

Have a great Wednesday

We are getting one going for the Med cruise now. It helps the kids, my son found three pen freinds at the sailaway party first afternoon.
That's what I am hoping for.:thumbsup2

He looks just awful, glad he sleeps alot. Almost time to give him his pills and that's not fun. He pretends to take the one and then he will hide it in his cheek.:rotfl2: I finally figured it out because the side of his face had blue on it from the pill. :rotfl2:

Morning:goodvibes TGIF, for me anyway. I have made a payment towards TOAL and will prob start transferring $ into my savings til I am ready for another drop.Unfortunately I have a small credit limit on my card so I have to be very inventive in order to earn my points. Ketchup later.

How many people know that song...... that's really diggin out an oldie :rotfl:

I have a whole closet full of 60's 45s. DS told me he will convert those and the stacks of 33s we have so I can download them

"Wicked" was a creation of the teen mall rat movies (Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Valley Girl etc). As a "reformed" (somewhat) mall rat I can assure you that no girl ever used "wicked" in such a fashion.

Why can't "cool" just be "cool" and leave it be? Why must we change the meaning of yet another word and use "sick" which just sounds wrong....

I still say COOL and many people who I speak to do the same. Just part of my culture.

I have some records fom the '60s but did not keep my turntable.

WE have a turntable but always had trouble with it. Needles breaking etc. It is as we speak sitting under the bedroom armoire collecting dust. (not the best thing)
