Hello everyone,
We are sitting in the vip lounge at Misson Space with MR and her family. We are having a great time. We are really enjoying our time with the O'Blenders.
Everyone says hi.
Except ST's who can't believe that I am posting while sitting here instead of taking them on the ride.
We are looking forward to meeting the rest of the gang that is here later tonight.
Wish you could all be here.
We need to replace both soon. Looking at the Pilot but probably will buy a family sedan like the Taurus this time. Then a few years from now, I can discard the Civic and get a truck again like an F-150.
Movie?
OK replacing Hondas with Found On Road Deads is blasphemy.....
(i'll give you a pass on the F-150 though)
We had a huge Chevy full bed pickup before we moved to MD. (We were afraid it wouldn't make the trip) I loved the big red truck. It was an old 1983 that had turned the mileage twice (200K+ miles). There were many snow/ice storms that the truck got us through.

Since I've been reading the main DCL board with the talk of the sunk cruise ship in the Greek Islands... this weekends' theme shall be ....
7 "EMERGENCY" QUESTIONS!
1) What 2 things would you grab and run with BY HAND (aside from a spouse or child/children) if an emergency evacuation moment arose on a cruise ship? My camera(s) and my computer.
2) Same question at home (keep answers interesting - but NO personal secret info revealed please - for your protection!)The DISDog and my cameras.
3) Do you have an "Emergency Plan" established for your family? IE... if you lost touch with one another in a huge public emergency do you have any plans or understandings with loved ones? No, but we would probably find the closest Salvation Army canteen to link up with each other.
4) Do you get thrills or chills from Movies depicting "EMERGENCY" themed thrillers? Like the movie "Speed" or "Earthquake", or movies with tangental emergencies as in BACKDRAFT or similar? I am not fond of these at all
5) Do you know or have you in the past been trained in any first aid? Can you do CPR in a pinch? Do you know your rights and liabilities? No to each
6) Have you ever performed emergency 1st aid I worked at Duke Medical Center while in college entering data on the surgical ward. One of the visitors had a miscarriage and I had to carry her to a stretcher and then to the ER.
7) What was the last "emergency moment" that you personally experienced? I stopped at a wreck on the highway to help.

Just surfing around today and discovered that the folks at Passporter have their 3rd edition cruise book on clearance which has stuff from the first West Coast tour including ports, PC, excursions, etc. They also have a trip report and video from one of the 2005 PC crossings.
Not sure about posting other site links here, so without naming them, here are ones I found on the 2005 repos:
Site 1
Site 2 (from the DSpouse point of view)
Site 3
Site 4 - Trip Report you need to page through
I ran the "FILM" projector in HS so I resemble that remark!![]()
They won't get rid of that. In fact, they just added rock music to it, so that it will also be a "rockin' roller coaster".
I happen to LOVE California Adventure and can easily spend a day there. They have Tower of Terror, Soarin', Monsters Inc, Turtle Talk With Crush, Bugs Life, Muppet Show, the whole Bugs Land for smaller kids, Grizzly River Run, and in the Boardwalk area there are a lot of rides, and even more when they open the new Cars ride, plus they have brought back the Electrical Parade.
I love the music they play there....think Beach Boys....and the fact that the walkways are so much wider makes it always feel less crowded. And they have some great food.....Boudin's for clam chowder in a bread bowl!
My guess as to why it shows as having lower attendance is most likely due to the fact that if people only have one day, they're going to spend it in the Disneyland Park, and I'm sure that the locals (especially teens and young adults) spend more time, like on Saturdays and Sundays, at that park.
IMO, California Adventure is a must see.
Lisa,
When will you be at Disney in December? I will be there from 11/27 thru 12/7. I go down every year the week after Thanksgiving. It is so pretty decorated for Christmas. Epcot is beautiful with all the different countries showing how they celebrate the season. The characters are dressed in festive costumes as they travel on the double decker bus thru the park.
If you haven't done Mickey's Very Magic Christmas Party I
highly reccomend it.Snow in the Magic Kingdom at night!!!

Is any one going to be on chat tonight??????
I will be late as I have to see GrindHouse for the studios.
We should have sent a webcam with someone to the "Meet". Knowing that their are there and we are here is killing me.
