Paula surprised everyone and had brought this cake with her. Actually it is called a pullaway cake and these were cupcakes made to look like a Pirate Cake. It was also Very Good tasting as well!!!

They won't get rid of that. In fact, they just added rock music to it, so that it will also be a "rockin' roller coaster".

That's a temporary thing. I doubt it'll make it past the summer.

But it's already totally rediculous that a professional like Melinda was allowed to be on in the first place... The whole premise of the show is that it is undiscovered amateurs.....

People who have been signing backup for recording artists aren't necessarily amateurs....

Well, I hardly consider her an "already discovered recording artist" just because she sang backup for recording artists. That would be like saying someone wasn't an amateur baseball player if they made a team for the first time PLAYING -simply because they used to be a "ball boy" for a team in the past!
I sure had never seen her or heard of her- had you? I doubt she was even singing backup for anyone famous like on major tours or anything of that nature...

I don't think they expect people that try out for AI to be people who have never sang in any way, form, or fashion in the past. But if they don't have an album (or single, or anything of that nature making money with them as the singer not just backup) out already- they qualify. Singing backup for people so not the same as doing it on your own. That's my opinion and apparently the bigwigs of AI's opinion as well.

Folding? What's that? Just dump 'em in the drawers. No one will notice.

Um, that's apparently the same thing my oldest thinks when she's supposed to be folding her clothes. ugh

Can someone please direct me to the post that showed all the pictures of someone's WONDERFUL kitchen? It was on this thread... showed a kitchen and dining area that was all decked out Mickey mouse/Disney themed... I wish I could find it again! I so want to show it to DH. It's like my "dream" kitchen... it would probably never work in my house (open concept theme so it wouldn't work with the formal living/formal dining area) but it was awesome and I really want to show it to DH. Everytime I mention to him about how I wish I had some rooms (or hey, an entire house since I'm dreaming- might as well go big with the dream!) fixed up that way- I don't think he envisions it with that much class and looking so nice.I think he imagines the All star restaurant area or one of the resort bedrooms or something. I'd love to show it to him... if I could find it!
