Just wanted to say "Thank You" to everyone for the good wishes. And to those finding themselves in similar situation, I say good luck. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you all.

Think I'll head out early today. No one's here anyway, so I might as well take advantage of it before we move into a populated building.

So I had my first PC cruise dream last night. Interesting that I was talking to people whom I've not yet met, but everyone looked like their pictures that I've seen!

For the record Stace - my family will not be wearing formal wear all 15 days.

And at this rate, my older DS will have grown a foot taller by then.

Hazel is baking chocolate cookies that we can nibble on during our drive to Florida, the smell is making me mighty hungry. I think I might have to taste test one or two of them..............................

The cookies turned our rather well!!!

The cookie dough was from a fundraiser at Lina's school. Since we didn't have room in the freezer when the cookie dough arrived the other day, Hazel put it in the frig, the cookies needed to be baked within 7 days after thawing out. This trip came up at just the right time!!!

Survivor is back on it's regular night people, who will be voted off tonight?

Just had to come back and share. Even though announcements were not supposed to happen until tomorrow, my boss just had a converstaion with me.


I STILL HAVE A JOB!


I won't be working for the same boss or even the same kind of work. I got slotted for another position within the company. I was targetted for getting laid off because I'm not working on one of the major projects right now. But my boss and her director lobied for me and found me something.


Now I'm going to miss the pirate run.....unless you all are kind enough to wait a few hours.....I'm about to hit the 75 min commute....

I made the mistake of reading a "spoiler" that told who won....or at least the final two. I hope they were wrong, but it almost seems to have ruined it for me. That'll teach me!

No kidding. I had a pair of wool slacks once.....stupid for Arizona, I know.....wore them to church one Sunday and I couldn't sit still. The preacher must have thought I didn't like his sermon!
