No kidding. I had a pair of wool slacks once.....stupid for Arizona, I know.....wore them to church one Sunday and I couldn't sit still. The preacher must have thought I didn't like his sermon!

I can't wait!! Maybe you would like to have a mini meet on Labor Day Labor. Several of us from the 10 Day wonder who our Going on the EBPC will be there. So far David from England(Diapp), Stephanie (Steph5), and ArleneSP. I will be there from the 3rd of September til the 10th.

Sure we will love too... just let me know when, time and place..

Hi Liz....They say the cherry blossoms should be in full bloom by next week. Hopefully they are still here for you on the weekend.

Our weather has been really freaky... Hot one day...cold the next... we don't know what to expect.

I have off from work on the 6th (good friday) and if weather's nice, i might talk myself into going downtown or to the National zoo. (i haven't seen the panda cub in person yet. Although i did watch the webcam for days after he was born.)

We have not been to DC since my kids were maybe 9 and 2.. lol.. so we are looking at 21 years ago... Now that my daughter is there since Sept.. we promise her we will be go up for her 30th .. got great buy on airline tickets too.. They told us to make sure we bring walking shoes lol...

I know Saturday they are suppose to take us to see the cherry blossoms and saturday night we are going to the Kennedy Center for a show and dinner.

We are looking forward to it..

Just had to come back and share. Even though announcements were not supposed to happen until tomorrow, my boss just had a converstaion with me.


I STILL HAVE A JOB!


I won't be working for the same boss or even the same kind of work. I got slotted for another position within the company. I was targetted for getting laid off because I'm not working on one of the major projects right now. But my boss and her director lobied for me and found me something.


Now I'm going to miss the pirate run.....unless you all are kind enough to wait a few hours.....I'm about to hit the 75 min commute....

What a long day this has been doing absolutely nothing
I had all these plans today but got taken over by the unmotivated, simply lazy syndrome.It was a really beautiful day and I hope all those coming down will have the same next week.
Just a post note, I can't believe Sanjaya is still with us. What a joke. I hope at least at the end one of the better singers will still be competing and he will fade away. Just my .02

Can someone help me with my email problem. Since a few days ago, I started getting notices everytime one of us posted. I haven't changed anything. Then today I went into the options and changed it to no email notification but still keep getting these alerts. Help. Hello Everyone!!! Happy Thursday!


I don't have alot of time to chat tonight because of preparing for the big trip!

I did want to let you guys know I two, count 'em two drs. appts. today.

The first one for the ankle swelling. When I woke up today not only was my right ankle swollen but so was my right eye! Dr. is not too alarmed but needs to find out why I'm retaining fluid like this. The three big things to rule out are: Kidney problems, Congestive Heart Failure, and some Leg Vein problem. She took blood today, told me to go to Fl., watch my salt intake, drink a lot of water and we'll go further when I get back.

The other appt. was for my rosacea treatment. It REALLY hurt this time and now I look like a tomato!

Boy do I need this vacation!
