Hello Everyone!!! Happy Thursday!


I don't have alot of time to chat tonight because of preparing for the big trip!

I did want to let you guys know I two, count 'em two drs. appts. today.

The first one for the ankle swelling. When I woke up today not only was my right ankle swollen but so was my right eye! Dr. is not too alarmed but needs to find out why I'm retaining fluid like this. The three big things to rule out are: Kidney problems, Congestive Heart Failure, and some Leg Vein problem. She took blood today, told me to go to Fl., watch my salt intake, drink a lot of water and we'll go further when I get back.

The other appt. was for my rosacea treatment. It REALLY hurt this time and now I look like a tomato!

Boy do I need this vacation!

If I had a choice I would take Leg Vein problem. I am sooo glad you went to doctor today. PLease take care of youself!!!! Stay away from the blender til you hear from doctor. Have a really great time. You deserve this vaction.

Oh MR I'm so sorry you are having to deal with this right before vacation. Please enjoy your trip & keep us updated when you get back on what the doctors are saying.

Can someone help me with my email problem. Since a few days ago, I started getting notices everytime one of us posted. I haven't changed anything. Then today I went into the options and changed it to no email notification but still keep getting these alerts. Help. I love you guys but if we are going for the i'm gonna have a lot of deleting to do

MR , I hope your ankle gets better. When I used to do the T-shirts, I sat in one spot way too long either painting or tracing. I found after a while the legs would start to feel like they were swelling. Had to get up and walk around or do something else to feel better. Of course now I know better. Even at work, I get up from time to time and walk around my aarea, as far as my headphone will allow. Try to keep your legs moving while sitting in the car on the way down.
Rosacea, is something I really don't know if I have it or not. I do use the metro cream each day and now at least the color of my face matches the rest of me, except when I'm in the sun. That is my next Dr.to do list.

Refresh my old memory, you were the one that went to Tilden, right? My Dh also grad from there but in 64.He said maybe I'll recognize her I said only from the pic on the boards.

Way to go Chrissie! It is all about the long run and not about the sprint. I have lost 53 pounds since 12/05. It is not easy but about major changes in lifestyle. I still go over to the "Darkside" as my kids call it when we are on vacations but I know that it is back to good eating when we get home. Keep up the great work.
