Hey O'Blender. I only have a few minutes this afternoon to check in. I'm flying out tomorrow to the UK so I have errands to do and packing. Maybe I can keep Andrew company posting.

Last week was my first time on the chat had a blast.

I have a question for the DCL Pros on the board. As you may know we've never been on a DCL. We are doing a 4 day at the end of August. And I have to make sure everyone has a blast (as the DW will only go thru with the Repo if the family likes the 4 day). I've heard about getting a day room at the Atlantis (or the Comfort Inn connected to the Atlantis) and spend the day using their facilities (pool, aquarium, etc). How about Castaway Cay? Any excursions recommended or just hang by the beach? Any other tips you can share to make sure we all have a grand time on the 4day?

FYI - We are traveling in a cat6 in Aug and we have a DD(5) and DD(8).

Keep an eye out for travel specials -- particularly with August being hurricane season -- sign up for the Travelzoo newsletter,as they keep up with things like this. This is how we got a rate at Atlantis for $119 -- not a day room, just a room I paid for on the internet as if I was staying the night. We checked in , left our things in the room, enjoyed the aquarium,slides, pools, beach, etc., and came back to the room to shower and change before taking a taxi back to the ship.It was wonderful and we would like to go back to Atlantis for several nights one day ...

NOTE: Although I find myself checking out the Jasmine's out here in DL all the time, somehow they seem to get just a little tighter in the top area and a little toner in the abs - - a little risque for the little kids I think! One day I'm gong to laugh if I catch a little boy putting hit hand down her top!!!

As for me - Disney does not recipercate with the Aladdins - must have something to do with the wig or something! Humph!!!

So I have mentioned my DS13 thinks girls are yucky. We did the princess breakfast in 2005 and he thought the whole princess thing was yucky.

But he DID stand up and get his picture taken with Jasmine.

Hmmm.

OK Laura -- will do! Yes,I believe there was a man working in the fitness area that I was told to keep an eye out for (Andrew claimed it was him,but since he's stated he's only just turning 21 next month I don't think it could be the same one).

You weren't by any chance the women in the good suite were you? Just curious. That trip was a good one and a bad one at the same time. Loved it for the opportunities to visit places I'd only dreamed of but horrible horrible timing.

Oh well, now you feel like an old friend - that's a good thing isn't it? LOL

DH, DS and I were on deck 8 - 8576 at the time.

Julie - my cousin too was a "Vegas Virgin" this past New Years (her words not miine) - last I heard she she's planning it again for 6 months from now! All 8 of them!!!

She adopted their motto to the heart - what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!

Well, let's see if this time next year I'm already working in a trip to Vegas before So Cal for the repo . . .I'll never say never!

I just swiped some Aruba info off the Westbounder's thread. We've not been to Aruba. We've done week-long trips to Bonaire and Curacao...so now I'll be able to say that I've been to all of the ABC's. I was really wishing we'd go back to Curacao on this trip. I knew exactly what I wanted to do there!

Well since we have not been to CC yet (this summer ) I will share Lovers beach in Cabo. I think this is where Judy is planning an excursion for all of us.

Yeah and just on the other side of that is Divorce Beach!
