Any read or ordered the book "Disney Adults" by AJ Wolfe ?

I won’t give her any of my money. I can’t stand the clickbait emails and IG posts and such. I also don’t like the Allears or DFB YouTube anymore. Resorting to making up “games” and such in the parks is just meh and boring.

“5 major changes coming to Disney in September!” As an article title and it’s the same things they’ve been alerting to for months in every email.

I’m about halfway through and am enjoying it a lot. I think the writing quality is better than I expected (it’s even got proper citations!) since I agree with @CoachBeard that DFB/AE blog post titles are nothing but clickbait and I refuse to read them anymore (I disagree with CoachBeard about the games—I love the AllEars games).

It’s an easy read and something I look forward to after a stressful day of work.

Agreed. Anytime one of their videos is on my YouTube for you suggestions its a hard pass.

Also a Disney senior adult - zero interest in the book though. When I start up my phone browser in the morning there is often a clickbait AllEars article. Had no idea it was the same people.

When Deb Wills sold AllEars, it was bought by the same company that runs Disney Food Blog. I don't read the food blog any more, but when I did I found the same clickbait articles were often cross posted to both sites. And although the food blog used to be focused on food, that's not the case any longer. So the main reason that drew me to their site - food articles - became a slog through the rest of repeated information to find the food stuff.

Did not know Deb Wills sold AllEars. Thank you.
Quite some time ago. I used to use it often, as it was a great resource. Now it’s… well… what it is now.

The other thing I dislike is how the Allears (and parent company cambrick yard) employees have been allegedly treated. This is according to past employee reviews among other sources.

The Allears YouTube channel has to release 7 videos a week. So they’re often having the kids film multiple videos at the same time in a day. While that may create a production efficiency, it shows in the quality. They’re just wiped out, things overlap, lack of continuity, etc.

I don’t need 7 videos a week. There’s only so much to be covered at the parks. Since they are Florida based, the focus mainly on WDW.
I’m sure it’s a budget thing but expanding to the other parks regularly could break up some of that monotony and reduce the boring games and stunts and things. That said, a few of the ideas they’ve done are ok, like certain challenges but for the most part they’re weird, snd low quality not planned out well.

I still get their emails - have not read any of the articles in a while. So much out there and mostly same information. Deb is on my FB friend's list. Does not post much though - she actually posted today after being absent a while (I think for medical reasons). Glad to see her well and back again.
