You should figure out how much each disc is going to cost you, then how many you will likely use over 15 days...don't forget the time before the cruise in CA. If that total exceeds the cost of a laptop....you would actually save money by buying a laptop.
Now that is a scary thought! So many disc's from Shutters you could save money by purchasing a new laptop.
Maybe we can arrange for those that are planning to bring their laptops (as Crash stated he was) to see if anyone would volunteer to burn the cds fro the memory cards so we don't have to pay so much $ to shutters to do this for us?

For those not familiar with WW, your points are based on you current weight. Under 140 (I think) you get 20 points a day + another 35 to spread throughout the week + you can earn points with exercise. I'm not sure what the points are for more weight but I think it only goes up in 2 pt. increments, which isn't much since it only equals about 100 calories.
So that 1 inch piece of rumis about 1/4 of the basic allowance for the day.

Evidently it's the latest and greatest from the PCMCIA and, of course, the ExpressCard 34mm and 54mm slots ARE NOT compatible with the existing crop of "older" PC Cards...so that means her CompactFlash PC Card adapter is useless 
The simple solution is to buy an ExpressCard adapter but eveidently there are only 2 in the world being made and they aren't readily available.
