Well...... I couldn't leave well enough alone. With this being the Trip of a Lifetime and all, I just switched us from HoJo's to the Grand Californian!

Cheers!

That's exactly how I felt about it when we upgraded from paradise Pier.

:) Sounds like a great plan!

And unfortunately - it arrived with a fractured ankle and foot (see below).

* However, I filed a claim for shipping damage and they are remaking a new one ...AND I'm keeping the iold one!* Perhaps I can super glue this "damaged" one and end up with 2 for the price of 1!
Crash I never heard, how did Alicia like her present?

I actually have not given it to her yet. I was going to bring it on the cruise with us and maybe have it be part of her anniversery "surprises"... But now I'm waiting for the new one to arrive - and may just bring the BROKEN one to present to her (fixed with glue of course)... so as not to risk damaging the new "good" one.

So - we had a great DIS meet at MaryAnn and Jims' place ( Magiroux ). MaryAnn is a fabulous host! I'll post more of it later complete with pictures - however - for the moment I am wacked and stuffed from supper at Bugaboo Creek tonite... it was my nieces' birthday and we had a little dinner celebration.

A better drink than chocolate smoothies? Could such a thing possibly exist? The mind cannot conceive of such a possibility....:cool2:

Oh my goodness! I've never been 1st at anything...but then I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

By the way Tom....I love the puppy!

We were thinking last night that it's very disappointing but DL really has priced themselves out of us going down there for this trip :( Their 1 day passes are so expensive!

On another note, we're staying at the LAX Marriott, booked last night.

I really have to second that, Tom. The newsletter was phenomenal. Our bookkeeper is so jealous right now that I have to make sure I hide all my tickets or she may just try to go in my place! :)

great job Tom

Well, I'm flying home on Southwest now. AirTran has agreed to give us a refund since they changed our flight time.
Hanging around MCO longer than we wanted to (4:00 pm flight), so definetly plan to be the last off the ship.

Find some one in the military to get you tickets on base. They are MUCH cheaper. If you can't find someone near you, PM me and I might have a friend who can get the tickets for me.

I'm just going to burn someday.....

All I can do not to post a "So a Priest walks into a motel...." joke of some sort.

Most airport hotels will have "layover" rooms. Really designed for flight crews who come in early and leave same day, but they make a good $$ on travelers too.

An engineer dies, but due to a mistake is sent to Hell instead of Heaven. Pretty soon, he begins tinkering and making improvements and after awhile, Hell has air conditioning and flush toilets and high-def TV. Satan can't help but call up God to gloat about the new amenities in Hell. God is shocked and asks how Satan did all this and he said "We have an engineer down here now". God replies this must be a mistake, all engineers go to heaven and Satan needs to send the guy back right now. Satan refuses and God replies "Send him back now or I'll sue".

Satan responds, "Yeah, right. Where are YOU going to get a lawyer?"

Of which I'm the President. I haven't seen the top of my dining room table in a month! :scared1:

What is this thing the 'dining room table' that you speak of? I am not familiar with such a thing...

Good to know, thanks! American refunded the difference for me in the past.

It's illegal for us to water between 10 and 5 during the day. Also illegal on Mondays. And we can only legally water on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

We can only water between 6 and 10 pm and we have an odd/even rationing system based on your house number (evens water on even-numbered days (10th, 12th, etc.), odds on the odd numbered days.

Which annoys those of us who have even house number because some months, our neighbors can water two days in a row while we have to skip two days. Leave it to our Village idiots not to realize some times there will be two odd-numbered days in a row.

I knew you were likely to crack a grin over the puppy....

Now ... may I offer a couple more images for your entertainment pleasure...
