We can only water between 6 and 10 pm and we have an odd/even rationing system based on your house number (evens water on even-numbered days (10th, 12th, etc.), odds on the odd numbered days.

Which annoys those of us who have even house number because some months, our neighbors can water two days in a row while we have to skip two days. Leave it to our Village idiots not to realize some times there will be two odd-numbered days in a row.

Yeah we don't even have odd/even system... If your house is odd like ours, then it's just Wednesday, Friday, Sunday. Too bad for you if you miss Sunday...

Find some one in the military to get you tickets on base. They are MUCH cheaper. If you can't find someone near you, PM me and I might have a friend who can get the tickets for me.

How much cheaper do they generally run,do you know?

What is this thing the 'dining room table' that you speak of? I am not familiar with such a thing...
:rotfl2:

:lmao:

:lmao: Don't even get me started. I have a 3rd bedroom in my house....or so I've been told!!

I'm just going to burn someday.....

All I can do not to post a "So a Priest walks into a motel...." joke of some sort.

An engineer dies, but due to a mistake is sent to Hell instead of Heaven. Pretty soon, he begins tinkering and making improvements and after awhile, Hell has air conditioning and flush toilets and high-def TV. Satan can't help but call up God to gloat about the new amenities in Hell. God is shocked and asks how Satan did all this and he said "We have an engineer down here now". God replies this must be a mistake, all engineers go to heaven and Satan needs to send the guy back right now. Satan refuses and God replies "Send him back now or I'll sue".

Satan responds, "Yeah, right. Where are YOU going to get a lawyer?"

That's pretty good, but I think Coral is still looking for her floor under the laundry:lmao:

Good news is I did a huge mess of laundry the last 2 days.........Bad news is that all the clothes that were dirty on the floor are now clean and all over my bed. I can find the floor but not my bed. :faint:

Gotta do something w/ all these clothes as the maid comes tomorrow. I am going to have to slip her an extra $20. God only knows why that woman comes back every week. She must LOVE a challenge. ;)

We met the housesitter we are using next week for WDW trip and for the TOAL. OMG! She is sooo pretty. Tall, thin and pretty and very blessed if you get my drift ;) . Must be hell to be her. If Bill fakes an illness to come home early I will know why.

I'm still trying to get all our laundry done:confused3 Can't keep up with my family. The really irritating part is when they try something on, find it doesn't fit and then throw it in with the dirty laundry:headache: I'm really determined to break them of this habit.

Good thing your house sitter is only going to be around when Bill is away:thumbsup2

Well...... I couldn't leave well enough alone. With this being the Trip of a Lifetime and all, I just switched us from HoJo's to the Grand Californian!

Cheers!

Congrats! We are also booked at the GC, thanks to our DVC points. I'm really excited!

Hope everyone is doing well. The kids are out of school now so they've been keeping me even busier than usual. Plus, I've decided to try and de-clutter my house. DS is entering 5th grade in the fall, and I still had school papers from when he was in Kindergarten!

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the DISboards and the family and I just booked the repo cruise a month ago. It will be myself, DW and 2 DD's (5 & 2). This is the first time we have ever cruised - figured might as well make it a good one!

Would love to get to know some of our shipmates before the cruise!

Anyone else traveling with kids the same age as ours?? Looking for ideas and suggestions for shore excursions.

Steve from MA

A better drink than chocolate smoothies? Could such a thing possibly exist? The mind cannot conceive of such a possibility....:cool2:

Any frozen margarita will do!!!!;) :cool1: :cool1:

Wow - where is everyone this evening? DS is off playing with a friend and DH is off mowing my parent's lawn (they are still on their Baltic cruise - they'll mow ours in August :cool1: ) so here I have some free time to spend here and no one's around!

OK. Here is a topic I don't think we've discussed yet. What are the best non-alcoholic beverages on board? Obviously, there is the drink station on deck 9 and I've had strawberry smoothies. Someone posted that they actually have chocolate smoothies, so I'll have to try those. Has anyone else discovered any other really cool beverages sans alcohol?

Long ago, when we stayed on a tiny caribean island called Bequia, the bartender would give me the fruit juice mix they used for their local rum punch which was fantastic. I have a friend that always makes me a non-alcohol version of whatever drink she is serving at a party and some of them have been really tasty - does DCL have anything like that?

Pamela

Pamela,( or is it Mabel:lmao: ) DCL will make a virgin non-alcholic of any kind of drink. Have you ever tried a frozen strawberry virgin magarita!!! :worship: :worship:

Hey Pam! Hey all. Just got back from dd's softball game and it's freezing out there! Sandals and capris, not warm! DD's team won. I'm the snack person for Thursdays game maybe I should make hot chocolate! I've got Rice Krispy Bars and Hawaiian Punch.

I can't believe our trip is getting closer!

I am sitting here with a fleece robe on right now. It only got to 72 here today!!:(

We were thinking last night that it's very disappointing but DL really has priced themselves out of us going down there for this trip :( Their 1 day passes are so expensive!

On another note, we're staying at the LAX Marriott, booked last night.

That is where we are staying!!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 What time are you going to be there??? :confused3 We will be there by 10:30 am. on Saturday.:goodvibes :goodvibes

WELCOME ABOARD:yay: :yay:
You're gonna have a lot of questions being this is your first cruise. Please see the first page of this thread for lots of info. Also if you want to link your dining time to the folks here you need to private message the appropriate person (info on first page).

Also, don't panic, but they are going to close this thread soon and start a new one (#10) as the long threads slow the whole DIS board down.

We get into the airport at around 9:30am. So whenever the shuttle gets us there!

Are you sure it's the same one? We only paid $99 and I thought you said you were paying more.... :confused3 Maybe we got lucky last night?

Miranda just tried this. Then... she used 3!! towels from her shower and then had the audicity to throw the perfectly clean towels in the laundry (disclaimer: That would be the floor at this point) right in front of me. Gonna thump that kid!

Welcome Steve and family! We have a DS6 and no one is a stranger to him. He can bring a smile to the older and younger all the same. He is quite the character. This is our 3rd DCL cruise and I was telling him the other day that he can 'show the ropes' to the other kids that have never cruised. He was quite excited about the prospects of that. His name is Landon. Remember that name and your DD5 will have a great time.
