Shelley, according to a date calculator 60 days from today would be August 10th.
ack!
Does anyone know for sure there is going to be a Mickey Mouse Club night?
I don't want to shop for this too if it is not a given.
Even if it doesn't happen- we're wearing our shirts. Even if they don't fit- so if you see a fat woman with a really tight OR really loose/huge mickey club shirt on - with the name Shelley on the back- that be me. LOL
Disneyland works differently, they do not take into account the months that have 31 days. It is 60 days from the date itself. For August 11 you can make reservations starting today, June 11.
so for the 12th- make ressies tomorrow?
Can we be 100% sure, NO. I appears that nothing with
DCL is 100% sure. We do know that it was on the 2005 Repo and the WB 2008 Repo. If they do not have it we can all just pick a night and show up in them.
right!
if we can make a pajama breakfast day (not my favorite idea, btw. but sounds fun for some people!) then we can do this! hehe
Try the Neutragena *dry touch* sunblock. It can be used on the face, also. It is not greasy!
My magnet paper is paper on one side and a magnet on the other and I run it through my printer.....
Okay I'll look into that. never seen "dry touch" before but I'll look for it!
Our magnet paper was sticky with backing on it on one side. I thought I'd just print some stuff out on kodak picture paper and stick it to it. My plans were thwarted by the stuff not really being sticky like it should! ugh
Oh and zazzle responded to my email saying the ENTIRE magnet order was cancelled because they "can't" just cancel part of the magnet order. So WHATEVER.
He also went on to say that ANYTHING with the image, name, or likeness of disney can't be used -only stuff on their disney ink page which he linked me to. But when I went there- all the options you have are shirt, mug, print, mousepad or stamp- there is no option to make those images into magnets! ugh
If y'all could...we could use some prayers....
DH's father became very ill duringthe night/today. He refused to go to the Dr for MIL. So, BIL called dh -- FIL is more likely to listen to my dh then he is to other family members. DH took him this afternoon to the Emergency Room. They are still there having tests run.
FIL is 78 but, extremely healthy -- golf 4 or 5 times a week, etc... Worked full time (CEO until this last month and now a *consultant* for the company), etc....
MIL doesn't do well with illness and she said that he looked just like *Ruby before she died * (she died of pancreatic cancer about 6 months ago).
FIL, MIL & DH cold use the prayers!!!
Praying for DH's father!
(ack when you said ruby before she died.... my daughter's name is ruby!)
It sounds like they are very much alike. I bet they will get along great. Next fall will be her second year of cheerleading. They have a no-cut squad, so no tryouts, but they work very hard and I was amazed at how far they came last fall with only 4 returning from the year before. Our school last fall switched from junior high to middle school. Impressive job on the grades including algebra. That is not easy. It will be interesting to see what level classes mine ends up in for next year. I'll send you a pm. Thanks for all the help!
Well they may change things in the future here but up until last year here they had intermediate for 5th/6th graders and only 7th/8th in middle school. So towards the end of 7th grade they could try out for cheerleader and that meant cheerleaders were always in 8th grade (they'd try out for next year). NOW they changed all the 5th graders back to elementary schools, changed the intermediate school into another middle school and divided up all the 6/7/8th graders into the middle schools. So who knows- in the future they might decide that they can try out in 6th grade and be cheerleaders in 7th grade or both grades. Is it kinda unfair to try out in 6th grade and "no cut" so they stay cheerleaders for 2yrs? I dunno. but here only 8th graders, at the present time, are cheerleaders. She didn't try out for highschool cheerleading -even though I told her the same cheerleaders wouldn't be cheerleaders since they, and their moms, all said they WERE NOT trying out again (so they could be in athletics- all of them were in athletics this previous year- even those in band quit band so they could do cheerleading and athletics, except my Ruby who stayed in band and gave up athletics) BUT she chose soccer instead and I'm glad she did because they lied. the entire squad tried out again and about 3/4ths of them made highschool cheerleading so I'm GLAD she chose not to- she would have been with those same girls!
(and btw- they weren't just mean- they were downright dangerous.. like dropping Ruby -she was a topper- and threatening to drop her, threatening to bite her while they held her up, etc. And they got away with this behavior because the coach let them stay on the squad and just ended up not using Ruby as a topper as much! Really taught THEM a lesson huh? not..... except this year the cheerleaders had to perform at the parents meeting for the tryouts for NEXT year and during that parents meeting she gave a long lecture, that she had not given to our parents meeting the previous year, about how they can't threaten to harm anyone or drop them/etc. why she decided to implement that in the FUTURE but not at that present time is beyond me. long story though. anyway just wanted to explain this wasn't simply they weren't nice to her- it was downright dangerous for her to do stunts with girls like that!)
so I'm glad she didn't take my advice and didn't try out again. LOL
See- sometimes moms aren't always right..... (she did really like cheerleading though...)
Hey, I used to sell Mary Kay products until I got smart! - Long story. Anyway, I use the day solution w/ spf in it. I works great. If you send ma a PM with your address, I can mail you some samples that I have left over. You can try it before you buy it. It works great and you don't even know you have it on. I have used it for as long as it has been around (years and years). Let me make myself clear, I am not a MK consultant - I am a past MK consultant that got smart!
Okay i'll send you a pm. i'm open to trying anything at this point!

Okay so how come if all you guys knew about this going on all the other special cruises mentioned in the last few posts- it isn't until NOW that someone mentions it? I mean why is this the first we've heard about it- nothing for a year and then 2mo before you're all like oh yeah they did this on all the special cruises in the past? hello? LOL slipped y'alls minds huh? hehe
