I really can't recommend using zazzle.com!

I had to spend HOURS last night redoing shirts and magnets and stuff over and over because it kept emptying my cart in the middle of the checkout process.
Then once I went to pay the code, that they state on their website, for free shipping didn't work. But I emailed them and they responded by email that they would refund the shipping.

Then I get an email that my entire magnet portion of my order (which means only the shirts are left?) is being cancelled because they cannot do any orders that "contain copyright or trademark protected title, name, or image".

So basically you can't use pictures of yourself on the cruise, you can't use the words disney or disney cruise line, can't use the banner we made for this cruise, and some of the magnets even just said "dis on board" with my username and our family name (the one that is showing on the pirates zone website). UGH! I'm so annoyed.I spent soooooooo much time ordering those but because they have the word disney in them they won't make them! And I know some of the magnets didn't even have anything copyrighted on it- but they cancelled the entire magnet portion (meaning only the shirts left) because SOME of them contained what they think is copyrighted names/images/etc?
I thought I was all set with a button for our kids FE at the top and the magnets for our doors- but they won't make them. So everyone HAS to make them theirselves- you can't get any company to make them? Or is it only zazzle that has a problem with it?

sigh I know Disney wouldn't care if I put a picture of my kids (in the port with mickey on the last cruise) on a magnet to put on my stateroom door. I think this is a bit over the top. sigh

Is anyone else using some place to make the magnets for you or are you all making them by yourself? I was going to but the magnet paper I bought the backing when you take it off- the magnet isn't sticky! so I have to return this to the store and I thought it would just be easier to buy a few already made for me. sigh

I printed my signs on card stock and then brought them to a copy place to have them laminated, it cost me $3.50 to have 18 signs done. I picked up a roll of sticky backed magnet tape, cut them to size and stuck them to the back of my signs.

I got confirmation from AirTran customer service that I would not be charged the fee for the second checked bag since I bought my tickets prior to April 22nd

We only have AirTran coming home, but at least I know now that I can shop without worry of extra baggage charges:woohoo:

yes..the sale price..I ordered mine yesterday at 4pm PST and when I went to check out..they went to 19.95..I called the company and it said that the sale ended at 7pm EST (which would have been 4pm my time) very strange..glad you got the sale price..we opted to transfer ours..will see how it goes.
wow, that's not right! On their website it said $4 off light apparel (including shirts) until 11:59pm PDT and my order was like just barely by that time. What in the world are they talking about it ended at 7pm EST? that's not even a time I saw on any sales at all! But I started doing my order after that time so maybe it was a different sale? I'm confused now.

Good news!!!(Luck is better already this week!!) The company announced those that would like to work a ten hour day may do so starting next week. He will be off Fridays from now on.:woohoo: :dance3: :woohoo: That will save us a lot of money on gas and wear and tear on the new car!!! The scary part is that is what is going to happen to the world so we can all afford to just go to work 4 times a week because of gas prices/:scared1:  :scared1:

Congrats to John!

They may try it where I work, but with Kaitlin I can't. In the summer the earliest I can drop her off is 7AM and I have to pick her up by 6PM. With construction on the roads, not going to happen. Oh well!

I really can't recommend using zazzle.com!

I attempted to order shirts from there a year ago and my order got lost! I did see some at the HSM concert and was glad that the order did get lost! Andy yours look nice though.

If y'all could...we could use some prayers....

Stephanie, you've got it. Hoping everthing turns out fine.

I have to brag on my shopping bargain today. Went to the Girl Scout council shop at lunch today. Got 50 fun patches that say Michigan on them for $2.25!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
They had a clearance rack and all patches were 5 cents each. Since these say Michigan I snapped them all up. It's a peregrine falcon patch. There are quite a few nesting pairs here in the metro Detroit area and they nest on the sky scrappers in different cities, so thought that was cool.:thumbsup2

Also have all the stuff I need and working on my playlist for field day on Friday! DJ TIna is in the house er school!

Nope.... You can still get a wicked burn.... Think of the Jergens stuff like stain for skin...

Bummer...

Hey, I used to sell Mary Kay products until I got smart! - Long story. Anyway, I use the day solution w/ spf in it. I works great. If you send ma a PM with your address, I can mail you some samples that I have left over. You can try it before you buy it. It works great and you don't even know you have it on. I have used it for as long as it has been around (years and years). Let me make myself clear, I am not a MK consultant - I am a past MK consultant that got smart!:rotfl2:

The day solution bothered me too. Now that people mention it, I'd try the Banana Boat one.

We don't plan on eating at character meals or things that require ADR's everyday anyway. can't afford it! But it is our first (and maybe only? I don't know) trip to DL so I thought we'd try one or two.. if I knew which ones were "not to miss".

We always have to do Blue Bayou for lunch to get the Monte Cristo and Storytellers for character breakfast. We've never had a problem getting ressies a couple weeks in advance, though!

Does anyone know for sure there is going to be a Mickey Mouse Club night?
I don't want to shop for this too if it is not a given.

I'm planning on making our own shirts Coral. Ends up being about $7.00 each.

HSM concert? These same shirts were there and I take it from your comment thawt they didn't look good? :(

We might be in we might be out...

We missed the original reservation deadline and so I put our name in with a travel agent in case anything came up. Lat week we got the call that rooms had opened up. After ALOT of discussion :worship: and some internet surfing on the cost of alternative 15 day vacations I finally convinced DH to go for it. It took less time then the Med Cruise last summer so we have some progress.

Our problem now is can we get two rooms close to each other. I am not crazy about my 13 year old and 16 year old being in a room across the ship from us and my DH is not crazy about the idea of him staying with my sons and me my daughter.

Please send us some pixy dust. :wizard: We love Disney and this would be our 7th Disney cruise.

Welcome to the group!

If y'all could...we could use some prayers....

DH's father became very ill duringthe night/today. He refused to go to the Dr for MIL. So, BIL called dh -- FIL is more likely to listen to my dh then he is to other family members. DH took him this afternoon to the Emergency Room. They are still there having tests run.

FIL is 78 but, extremely healthy -- golf 4 or 5 times a week, etc... Worked full time (CEO until this last month and now a *consultant* for the company), etc....

MIL doesn't do well with illness and she said that he looked just like *Ruby before she died * (she died of pancreatic cancer about 6 months ago).

FIL, MIL & DH cold use the prayers!!!

 prayers for the whole family

BTW....we finally ended up with a new car that was just dropped off at a dealership 40 miles away!!! Our dealer switched out another car to get this one for us. I guess the 5th time was the charm!!! :faint: :faint: We bought it while it was still on the truck!!!::yes:: ::yes:: It is tucked safely in our garage now!!:woohoo: We got another little Vibe by Pontiac!!! It is really made by Toyota for GM.:thumbsup2 This is a 2009 and we had a 2005. John drives far to work and we had 46,000 miles in just three years. Not exactly a luxury car but it does give us 33 miles to the gallon of gas!!!:worship: :worship:

Congrats on the new car.. what color is it.. and what features does it have??

your family will be in my prayers.. let us know how he is..

Roger...We had the Mickey Club Day on the 10 Southern. I thnk it is always done on Special cruises!!!!

Wow ....Thanks for the info.:cool1: :cool1: We always thought Toyota made it for GM. :confused3 It is one of the best performing cars we ever had. ::yes:: We might be going to California next year and will keep that in mind. The way the economy looks....DLP will be just to expensive for us!!:(

Our prayers will be with the family and give Jon an extra hug from us!!

Chris ....it does seem like an eternity since we all have been talking.:rolleyes1

Not all special cruises. No MM club night on the Med Repo.

My uncle and cousins used to work for NUMMI. If you are close enough to visit the plant then you will be close enough to visit me...and Chris...and Sara....and Johanna...and Andy...well, you'll have friends here!!

So what days does DL have early entry with multi-day park-hopping tickets? I would like to make a ressie at Goofy's Kitchen for brunch after seeing all those great pics on the earlier threads. Figured head to the park early, late brunch. What do you experts think?

Excellent plan. That's what we always do. Except that we don't always have early entry due to having APs. But still, hit the parks at rope drop then wander over to Goofy's when everyone else starts waking up and coming in.

Early entry (Magic Mornings) is on Sat, Sun, Tues and Thurs.

I would probably throw in Blue Bayou into the one place that sells out in advance

Yes, BB will get full, but not right on the 60 day mark. There will be some seating for a few days while everyone figures out their plans.

FYI - if anyone is planning on BB specifically for the Monte Cristo, it is only served at lunch. However, they also serve it at Cafe Orleans for a little less money.

Crash will be so proud of me...................I really have been on the fence about the fish extender thing and was worried about the kids fighting over everything AND what to get to give to others and how to get 100 somethings in our overpacked luggage without breaking the weight limit.:(

Well.............the answer sort of fell into my lap the other day::yes:: . DH and I came up with a great idea - something every adult will appreciate at some point on our cruise :cool1: so we now have 108 fish extender gifts! They won't take up much space nor do they weight much so we are good there. I think I will use the advice of some others on this board and claim everything is MINE unless I deem otherwise to avoid the bickering.

I already sent bellenius a PM to sign up. Two questions though, should I label my gifts somehow so everyone knows where it came from - is that required? Also, can someone direct me to the FE link that shows how to make one? I am pretty handy in the sewing dept so I would like to make our own. THANKS!!!:lovestruc

:yay: YEAH! You're going to play with us. :yay:

Labeling is up to you. Some people do, some people don't.

Sorry, I don't have the instruction link.

That just prives you are a mover and a shaker!!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
Company cars would be a great deal but no such luck for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good news!!!(Luck is better already this week!!) The company announced those that would like to work a ten hour day may do so starting next week. I love my 4 x 10s.Had to work 5 days when I was helping out in training and hated it.

I hope this works out for you. But a little word of warning...there are many on this cruise who booked on the very first day and do not have room assignments yet. Some are in the same situation as you, they've got kids booked in the second room, but DCL won't assign anything or even gaurantee they will be near each other. I don't want to be a downer, just wanted you to know what's been happening.

I think you guys are talking about different sales. You BIP saw a sale for $4 off. But Desiree saw the shirts priced at $10.95 (or maybe $11.95) but when she was completing her order (after 7pm EST), the price jumped to $19.95.
