Most of my casual clothing is Disney. I've even worn Disney stuff to work on casual Friday.

I don't have any Disney dresses though (as I rarely even wear a skirt) but I have tops, tshirts, pants/jeans, shoes, sweatshirts, fleece, jackets - something for all seasons really :lmao: I even had a MM swimsuit until it wore out. Most of my night wear is Disney, pretty much all of my socks and underwear are Disney too - is that TMI? :rotfl2:

I LOVE it!!! :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

Are they going to have Toy Story :thumbsup2 That will be cool:goodvibes

OK...

... we're back from having had a really beautiful SUNSET BBQ and fire at the beach with Goofyonthehighseas and Travelnfam.... and I can see ROGER is posting exactly as I am posting here too... BUT (hah!) I got on just a few seconds ahead of Roger... but Roger posted his IMAGES before I could post mine. < wink >

I must say - WOW - it was sooo nice to spend an afternoon with our local DiS neighbors over some hotdogs, strawberry pie, chicken and salad. Among other things... (I really liked those chedder potato chips - Alicia has negotiated ALL potato chips out of my diet - so it was a treat to have them on hand! THANX Janelle & Lindsey for bringing them!).... and those chocolate marshmellos.... OOOoooo.... and then I must say (yuck) we were BBQing marshmello peeps. What a concept.

Cheers! Roger & Cherie, Janelle & DH Lindsey (plus children)... < wink >

What do the other California DISers do when we can't make to DL for the DIS meet? We have our own DIS meet on the beach :yay: After all the beach is probably the only thing that could come close to DL or WDW right. Tom (CaptainCrash) invited us and travelnfam (Janelle, DH Lindsey (sp?) and their two children to a beach gathering today. We had a great time with Tom BBQing and the kids playing in the surf. We lit a bonfire and roasted marshmallows and made smores. What a great day chatting and getting to know each other. Tom and Alicia were very gracious hosts. Thank you very much for a wonderful day. What would a day at the beach with Tom be without photos. So here is my offering before he gets home and post his.

Roger, the pics were fantastic! I loved seeing them!

Crash, what a great idea you had! Inviting them to the beach. It sounds & looks like everyone had a great time!!!

Joan - I spoke with a gentleman who did the ATV tour in Aruba - plus we got to see them. Please be advised that the ATV's have no seat belts. The gentleman - who did this excursion with his wife, did not like it. He said it was extremely dirty. They had no mouth guard so you ate dust alot. They did have goggles and a helmet but that was it. At one point, the man said that he thought he was going get killed when his ATV got stuck before he went up a hill. He had never been on one in his life prior to taking this excursion and didn't give it enough gas I think. He said that the guide at one point had to get behind some ladies to help them up the hill and that the front wheels actually lifted off the ground. He thought it would have overturned but didn't. His words - its amazing that no one was killed.

We saw them several times on our tour - Keep in mind that Aruba - for the most part is very desert like and very dusty. The man said that his and his wife's clothes were pretty much ruined. The dust was red in some parts and regular dust in other portions. Either way - you tasted dust. I don't mean to sound like a party pooper but I was sure glad that I didn't pick that one - especially since I have never been on an ATV in my life. WHile they look like fun - I hate the taste of dust. If you do decide to do this excursion - you might want to bring a filter mask for your nose and mouth. Have fun whatever you decide to do.

Has this man never seen someone 4 wheeling????? Of course you will get your clothes really filthy! LOL! That's part of the *fun*. ANd I thought anyone would know that if you are riding around in anything *open* you would need a bandana to cover your nose/mouth..........

We have never been ATVing (except 17dd) DH did own a jeep in HS. That was almost 30 yrs ago........

I read this post to DH and he said *What did he expect?* and the other thing he said I can't say on a family board. ;) But, it did include calling the guy a "dumb***"

DH & !0ds are doing the rhino 4x4's in Cabo and they are planning on wearing *thow away* clothes. :)

Good morning everyone.. Nice sunny morning herre in Central New York.. I am off to the Doctors with my DAD.. post chemo/radiation CT scan today.. Plase keep him in your thoughts for CA free today.. He was Dx in September for Pancreatic Cancer...and is kicking butt!!!

Said a quick prayer!!! I'm so glad that things are going good for him so far!

Got the sundress too...

Ditto on the wine/champagne comment. I order wine by the case, but I am having trouble switching over to summer wines. I love a good red wine, but it is hard to me to drink a stomach warming red wine when it is 80 degrees...

17dd would still be wearing sweatshirts & hoodies at 80degrees! LOL! She's like her dad...she likes it when it is over 95...... Yesterday it was at least 95 (and pretty humid!!!) and DH was roller blading (he skates at full speed the entire time) while 17dd rode my new bike.......
I told DH that if he wanted to blade while I biked it would have to be early in the morning when it was still under 90!

Like someone else just mentioned, our flight isn't until 8pm coming home, so we will be headed off to WDW for a few hours...which park to go to though, that is the question...

I am trying to plan our WDW trip (we will be there the 1st - 4th)... Right now I'm thinking Epcot then Hollywood Studios (they have the late EMH that night). But, I go back and forth between Epcot & AK......... Or maybe Hollywood Studios the entire time.... ACK!!!!

I know I'm not going to MK on Labor Day!

So, I got my interview. Two weeks from today. Got a lot of homework to do over the next two weeks. :cool1:

I will keep my fingers crossed for the interview!!:thumbsup2

SHOWS ON THE MAGIC

All Aboard
The Art of the Story
Disney Dreams
Remember the Magic
Golden Mickey
Toy Story :cool1:
Twice Charmed

No info on what will be held the other 8 nights

I would live to see Toy Story!!!!!!! I am sooo hoping!!!:yay: :yay:

As of right now they are saying that Toy Story will be one of the shows on the EB :thumbsup2

I'll have to check again when I call later. I asked this morning and they didn't say Toy Story. I find that hard to believe because of the sets required. I was told by the VP of Entertainment that they can't have more than three shows with complete sets (Disney Dreams, Golden Mickeys & Twice Charmed) as they don't have room to store the sets onboard. That's why they started the Art of the Story, because it didn't have full sets.

Still lots of rooms opening up - just saw this on the DCL site:

Category 06 Deluxe Stateroom w/ Verandah $ 11,352.37

Category 07 Deluxe Stateroom w/ Navigators Verandah $ 10,992.37

Category 08 Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom $ 10,092.37

Category 09 Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom $ 9,392.37

Category 10 Deluxe Inside Stateroom $ 8,392.37

These prices are for 2A and 1 13yo

Did you abandone the black/white one then?:confused3

Yes, I had to....for this cruise anyway. I brought it in for alterations(waaay to small) hoping he could get it to fit. I got in it alright, just couldn't breathe! So,if I lost enough weight to get into it, the other one that I spent $80 having altered, would be too big. I will be bringing the new brown one in for alterations as well.

I've been hoping that TS would be one of the "new" things we got on the EB.
Maybe they figured out where to put the 'extra' sets. Maybe that's why it was taking so long to release the theme night info. I would assume the sets were built in LA, so they couldn't even try to get them onboard until after the Magic arrived.

I hate hot.
Ok and we'll be the suckers at MK on Labor Day. We only have 9-10 hours and no expectation of doing much, but it's only going to cost us parking since we have APs. The only things we really need to do is ride Splash Mountain and get a Dole Whip. SM is the kid's favorite ride, so we are excited about the prospect of bi-coastal Splash & Dole Whips this summer. :)

I would live to see Toy Storty!!!!!!! I am sooo hoping!!!:yay: :yay:

Well Cheryl...I hope you live to see Toy Story!
If not, we can set your corpse up next to Lisa's for the show.

Toy Story would be wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I notice we seem to have quite a few young girls that are bridging from Brownies to Juniors this year! (mine included!) I was wondering if any of them would be interested in maybe trying to earn a Junior badge while on board. I would be willing to put it all together and run it. I haven't looked throufgh the book yet to see if there is an appropriate one, but I bet we could find something!

Oh, I just ordered 3 books by Ms. Meyer for DD14, she is finishing one right now and actually asked me to get her another one by the same author. I think it is the first time she has ever ASKED for a book. She is not very much like DS16...she would rather talk to anyone and everyone that would listen to her...she gets that from hmmmmm, oh yeah, her mother...:cool2:

Sounds like they're the V.C. Andrews books of my time.

Tracy -let us know if you find anything different - when I called yesterday to inquire about the shows on the EB that is the list they gave me including Toy Story :goodvibes

I know my daughter would be happy to earn a badge or two while we are on the ship so we'd be up for it.
