Can someone tell me what kind of drinks they sell in the coffee shop? I don't drink coffee, but I love frozen blended coffee drinks. Also, I saw a mention one time about pastries/cheese and crackers and such at certain times throughout the day. I'm just trying to find out more as I never even went in here on our last cruise. I posted the question on the forum, but none of the 26 readers so far has responded...
Thanks!

Here's one : http://upl.codeq.info/

However, I think you're looking for the "official" tip sheet that was posted here somewhere... and I'm sure someone "in the know" will come along shortly and post a proper link. In the mean while - here's a Crash link (above)...

paris_packing.jpg

That is.... unless "I" find it first and edit in in here... :smokin:

Hey crash
I like your packing list link. But it didnt work for me! Iam sure I wont need a list like that. We are great overpackers! Iam sure if someone forgot something, we will have what you need!

Thanks everyone for their thoughts...Doc put Richard on muscle relaxants for the back and said the reason for the work from home was that the drive with traffic is to much. We will see on Friday if he feels better for next week. he is fine..Xray will be tomorrow morning as a precaution (x-raying his back).

Richard says he feels fine except a little sore and back issues.

He got his tux tie and cumberbund when he got home - it arrived today and looks really nice! So atleast he got a gift when he got home.

So glad to hear that he wasn't more seriously injured!

He says that he went as a kid..... but, he didn't think it was that big of a deal. :confused3
ANd you're right we aren't going to *overschedule* but, I am making a list of days/parks/TS ressies for them. :) They will be there a day and half after we leave. DD is having a great time on the Disboards doing her research! :thumbsup2
She even harrassed me on my trip report thread since I didn't finish..... :rotfl:
Ok, WDW has changed quite a bit since he last went. I'm sure he'll have a blast:thumbsup2

Quick - Someone say something funny.
I'm really, really grumpy. Not dwarf grumpy. Leave everything behind to live in a yurt in Alaska grumpy.
Had ones of those days yesterday;)
What's a yurt ?

They definitely have the frozen coffee drinks. Also tea. I remember seeing the menu posted somewhere on the DIS. The pasteries are in a glass case and are self-serve ("free"). I didn't realize this the one time I was in there and just assumed you had to pay extra for them as well.

Sounds like 10-15 mickey points to me

More like 20-50 mickey points. Need to replace the entire furnace. Which means that the chimney has to be inspected (whole system is 45 years old). We know if the chimney is inspected it will have to be lined. <sigh> But better to do it now than this winter when it breaks down and we're at their mercy for labor and systems and emergency prices, too.

Good afternoon everyone. Kenny Chesney was awesome!!

<sigh> I love Kenny!

I had rules on 2 shows that DD could not watch when she was little..there were Barney and Teletubbies. Sometimes I know she watched Barney at day care. It's ok..I got my agression out when her friend at age 2 had a Barney pinata that wouldn't break..the parents fought over the chance to take a turn :lmao:

:rotfl: My nieces chase me around their house with Barney DVD's in hand. They know I can't stand Barney!!

I need to vent: (caution, long story ahead----airline problems)

Sorry it's not going well for you. I hate hate hate Delta.

I have a tankini from Land's End and the bottoms are my actual pants size. I have the skirted bottom and love it. The top is a different size and I went off the measurement chart for that. Does that help? Their suits hold up really well.

Don't know about Land's End, but I'm no tiny thing and still love tankini's. SO much easier after a few bevvies on a warm summer day in and around the pool.

If this is the case then we should do the Pirate Interactive then ....What say You ?????

AYE!!

Tori also recieved her Wii tonight..so I know that Richard will be busy setting that up once everyone goes. I can't find the Fit...I have looked at Ebay but I think maybe when I get home from my trip I will get one...

Good luck on finding Wii Fit. It's WAY too much fun. One thing I noticed that to get 30 minutes of "exercise" in, it takes about an hour. And I'll be glad when the stupid balance board stops say "ooo" when I step on it. :rolleyes1

:worship: :worship: Better make it today or tomorrow. :goodvibes

OK crew - we need 4 more to save me from my poor estimates... :thumbsup2

.
It is asking me how I want the shirts shipped... Are you picking them up in store and then shipping them to us, or do we pay for the shipping now? Sorry, I am a little lost on what the group is doing.

Except perhaps there might be a preference for "Beefcake" in Uniform. Right? :confused3

I truly believe today is a jinxed Monday. I was having one of those days myself today too. :duck:

Unless you're going to come to the packing party on July 2, you would select shipping. Esteri and a few pirates will be packing them and sending them out.

The word yurt is originally from the Turkic word meaning "dwelling place" in the sense of "homeland"; the term came to be used in reference to the physical tent-like structures only in other languages. In Russian the structure is called "yurta" (юрта), whence the word came into English.

In Kazakh (and Uyghur) the term for the structure is kiyiz üy (киіз үй, lit. "felt home"). In Kyrgyz the term is boz üý (боз үй), literally "grey house", because of the colour of the felt. In Mongolian it is called a ger (гэр). Afghans call them "Kherga"/"Jirga" or "ooee". In Pakistan it is also known as gher (گھر).

Traditional yurts consist of a circular wooden frame carrying a felt cover. The felt is made from the wool of the flocks of sheep that accompany the pastoralists. The timber to make the external structure is not to be found on the treeless steppes, and must be traded for in the valleys below.

The frame consists of one or more lattice wall-sections, a door-frame, roof poles and a crown. Some styles of yurt have one or more columns to support the crown. The (self-supporting) wood frame is covered with pieces of felt. Depending on availability, the felt is additionally covered with canvas and/or sun-covers. The frame is held together with one or more ropes or ribbons. The structure is kept under compression by the weight of the covers, sometimes supplemented by a heavy weight hung from the center of the roof. They vary regionally, with straight or bent roof-poles, different sizes, and relative weight.

It is designed to be dismantled and the parts carried on camels or yaks to be rebuilt on another site.

If it ever stops saying "ooo" it is somewhere south of what I weigh.
Wii Fit is fun, and way better than nothing, but not a huge workout.

I did an hour on it today and my legs are letting me know it. It seems the oooh is related to how gently I get on ::yes::

Hey neighbor...

... hoz it goin'?

We did Sycamore cove again this past sunday. It was CROWDED ... but managable - just the same. It was a spontaneous thing - we sort of woke up - got a call and agreed to acompany the family that left early last week - back to the beach.

As it turns out - the reason they left early was thier son was falling ill ... again. He had been feverish a couple days earlier but seemed well enough to go to the beach. Last sunday when we were at the beach he went home early and fell back into a feverish state. He stayed home on Monday but was well again by tuesday.

So it was really nice - as expected. May I ask if you folks have Disney Annual passes? Roger and I have 'em - and if ya do then maybe we can do the park sometime this summer... or when-ever....?
