The pirate party is in trial on the Wonder, running from 7:30 - 8:30, with no buffet. All early dinners start at 5:45, all late dinners start at 8:30.

On WB navigator, Pirate Party was 9:45 to 10:45 followed by COTBP on Arielvision

I bought DS a tux from tinytux.com last fall for our cruise over Thanksgiving for less than $50 and it will still fit him for this cruise (and maybe even next years).

I can't even believe it, I looked on that site and there were suits for my teens for $48. Very cool. I was just convinced I wasn't going to have them wear a tux, much less waste the space packing one, but now I will be changing my mind. They will so handsome!!!!

Try 4 tuxes! Actually, I think we're just going to do sport coats for the kids so they can wear the same pants as they do on the non-formal nights. Even though we're allowed 2 bags on Southwest, it's still going to be hard to keep the luggage down as we're going to be gone for 19 night!!!

Helluva game! Both teams started with 8 players (long story, fitting playoffs around other schedules) and in 2d inning, Chris' team was down 8-1. End of 4 down 9-2. End of 5, down 9-7. Won in bottom of 6th and huge pile on of guy who ran home for final run!

I will say, I was again reminded of what great coaches we had all season, the opposing coaches were yelling at their kids non-stop, almost belittling them, one opposing coach called for "time" while play was still going on to try and stop our guys from advancing on overthrow and then later was warned not to walk on field....

But it was HOT!!!!!

WOW, what an exciting game If you're gonna play in 100 degree heat, it helps to win the game

We've also been lucky with coaches, seen some not so nice ones over the years
When Darren umpires LL he says it's the coaches that give him a hard time, not the kids. Temper tantrums and all

He'll be fine given some time ... and maybe some good luck in recovering.

We're all sending our best prayers and wishes for god things to develope.

Time off for 2 weeks is ... good... compared to immediate admission into the hospital or ???

There is always a better - and worse side of anything. Let's just be thankful nothing was WORSE than what you've got here.

We aren't doing formal either. We detest dressing up and are "tidy casual" people. We'll just be wearing our "tidiest casual" - probably dark pants and nice top/shirts.

I figure as long as we don't offend anyone with something totally inappropriate like wearing swimwear at dinner that most people won't even notice what we will be wearing.

DS11 and DS8 both won their first games of playoff. That means we get to play more baseball (yea us). At least we don't play tonight. It's going to be another day in the soup. Supposed to cool off tomorrow. We had the ambulance at the ball field yesterday. An older gentleman was suffering from heat stroke. Pretty scary stuff.

Just curious- did you already order them with the name on the back? The name can be put up top by the neck on the front above the logo- would that look stupid though? It costs more to put it on the back- but not on the front.

Schools are closed here but because of the flooding, not the heat. State of emergency is Southern Wisconsin

The main lake in Wisconsin Dells is spilling over it's banks. They fear they will lose the lake completely. Three houses have fallen in. The lake is rushing toward the Wisconsin River (along with the three houses!).

Great News from DCL on Luggage!!!!!

The information that was given to me and numerous other people over the weekend and late last week pertained ONLY to the resorts! Disney Cruise Lines (at least for now), is still allowing 2 pieces of luggage per person to be checked with the onboard airline check in

I will check back again in late July about this but as of right now even if you weren't grandfathered, you will be able to check two pieces of luggage.

Could you do me a favor and think good thoughts for DH..he just called..and said someone hit him on the freeway (brand new car - believe it or not..he was hit only a few weeks back and we just had the car fixed!) He is waiting for the police to show and he says his back hurts...he says he is fine but stuck on the freeway at the moment. I am nervous that he is stuck on the freeway..will be glad when the police arrive and he manages to get off the freeway and home. Says the car is still running but damaged.

I looked on the traffic site in our area and found him!

I had mentioned a few weeks ago that my ds12 is very passionate about animation/cartooning. Here is a drawing he whipped up this morning and I thought I should share it with all of the Disney fanatics I know! Sorry the quality isn't the best, I don't have a scanner, so I took a picture of it.

I think it's quite clever.....I had never thought about Peter Pan having to stop for directions....

I just saw on the news one of the beautiful houses falling into the river!!! If you are in your basement...just call me. We had tornado warnings til 1:00 am. this morning. We finally got lots of rain. Now it can go away.

Mine isn't this color (I think this one's pretty too), but is actualy a True Red.
