Well I have my wish list completed. If I do not get something it will not be a huge deal. Of course, just the thought of having to stay up past 11:00 is already making me feel very tires. Could have to do with the meatloaf sandwich I just ate too.

Well, he's not so little anymore...he'll be almost 22 months when we cruise, but if you can catch him, you can hold him! He's become quite independent lately...can't sit still and his new favorite word is "no"! He looks so little in my signature pics and his hair is so short. His hair is now longer and he has lots and lots of curls but only in the back!

Here is a more recent pic of him with our famous Texas bluebonnets.

What a cutie !

It sure is! And I didn't grow a single one of them :rotfl2: DH is the actual gardener in our family - I just point and say, "that would look good over there"! I'm not sure what I am doing on the Garden Club board ... somehow I ended up in charge of publicity... What is sort of funny is that I do all the signage for the sale and print up all the labels - so I know a LOT about the various plants just from doing that. People ask me all sorts of questions at the sale and I sound like I know what I'm doing :rotfl2: I haven't planted anything in years and only weed if DH really, really needs the help - I hate the feel of dirt on my skin. I'm not sure what I am doing on the Garden Club board ... somehow I ended up in charge of publicity...

On a related note, I don't have to be PTO co-President next year!!!!:yay: :yay: I'm sure I'll still be very involved, but we found someone else to take the title - I am totally thrilled!

Pamela

I try to keep my plants alive, half the time I really don't know what I am doing. Enjoy your extra free time ! :thumbsup2 I am giving some of mine up and running for board of directors for our home association.

Time to watch season finale of desperate housewives, see you on chat afterwards.

Quick question ..... this is from the first page ---

Scrapbook swap- Sea Day Activity
(TASK FORCE LEADERS NEEDED)
Scrappers alert! Come and share with fellow scrap booking Pirates

BUT, on the priatezone it lists Downrivermama as doing this activty.... :confused3

Back about a year ago.....Cheryl & I talked back and forth with Lisa about being in charge of this but, she told us *no* someone else was......

Well.... Are we or aren't we doing this???

Sorry about the nightmare. I was afraid that might happen.

The PV Signature Swim times are 11:00 to 2:00 and 12:00 to 3:00....the system won't let me look at the Kids' time because we don't have any kids in our group, sorry.

Thanks so much!
I have a question for some more times if you or Desiree would mind?? In Cabo San Lucas, the times for the ATV excursion and the Rhino 4x4 excursion. Also these same ones are offered in Acapulco too. Can I have the times for these in both places? We are trying to arrange things around. Trying to figure out what to do when...like planning WDW, its like putting together a big puzzle x6.

My experience on booking night (and this has happened to me twice) ....I was logged on to DCL's website, but hadn't logged in to my cruise yet. I guess I logged in to the cruise a minute or 30 seconds too soon, because when my ressie came up it told me that I wasn't paid in full and couldn't book. Obviously I was paid in full, but luckily remembered that this had happened to someone else. So I logged off, logged back on and was good to go.
Just don't log in too early!

Ok good to know!

I would like to know this too?

There is an opening on ours and MIL thought that dh & I should be a part of this because we are *young*. I'm pretty certain being over the age of 45 doesn't make me young. :rotfl: :rotfl:

It's all relative, Steph, it's all relative...

Does anyone know when the chat is going to begin? Will it be on the DIS, or on the pirate page?

Hello everyone, Here I sit in a hotel room in Albany, NY while my son is preparing for a mock trial in the morning.. Big screen TV for the season finally of Desparate....:happytv:

I am getting used to his laptop so my fingers are ready for tonight..

sk8ingmom did we cruise together 2 yrs ago?

Has anyone else noted how the excursions run into one another? I was hoping to get 2 excursions at the longer ports...

Well, it was 1994 so I do have to admit to the Electric Slide.
We also had the electric slide (1992) but I had to bail when the steps went backwards. Long dresses don't do well going backwards:confused3

Time for a joke!!!!:goodvibes

An English professor wrote the words:

'A woman without her man is nothing'

on the chalkboard and asked his students to punctuate it correctly.

All of the males in the class wrote:

'A woman, without her man, is nothing.'

All the females in the class wrote: 'A woman: without her, man is
nothing.'
:lmao: :lmao: :thumbsup2

Nationals is over with for Lisa and although she had a lot of fun, met many new friends, and received lots of "free" merchandise, she also got a lesson between being good and being great. Some of those girls were AMAZING! The girl that won the JR A Division was from Region 1 and trains at an Olympic Training Facility in California. (People who knew her said she is home schooled and trains at least 8 hours per day. Lisa's 4 hours per day seems "light" compared to that - but she is in public school and that is all of the time she has available to train)

I know Lisa was inspired to work on new and more difficult skills for next year in the hopes she can fare better next year. We are very proud of how hard she has worked and how much she has been able to accomplish this year.
8 hours a day:eek: That seems extreme:confused3 Congrats to Lisa:cheer2:
4 hours a day is still a lot of work and definitely something to be proud of:thumbsup2

What is your personal preference?

Brunch or the dinner? DH and I are celebrating our anniversary during the cruise.

Thanks.
Last minute

For romance I prefer dinner, for food I prefer the brunch:goodvibes

So, true! DD didn't do the Electric Slide in her wedding dress but....she did do the Limbo! :rotfl: And she wouldn't let them *help* her win either! :lmao:

She told everyone that she's never lost at Limbo and she wasnt't going to start now! :rotfl2: Her youngest DB (9 at the time) was none too happy with her winning! :rotfl: It got down to just the two of them......
