Maybe if there are other interested, we could charter a small boat for an hour or two? I think we might be interested....

So Tom, are you the Professor or Gilligan?

Hi Mom!

white20pantyzj0.jpg

These are for you!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Oh look! Stacey's Freak Flag!

Pay no attention to the woman behind the curtain. Or grannie panties as the case may be.

She's trying to :stir:

Hee-hee granny panties. I gave DH a pair of giant pink granny panties when we were dating. Totally sexist and inappropriate and whatnot, but when he was a freshman in college they couldn't leave campus, etc. Well, before a formal dance weekend, all the guys who could produce a pair or pink panties could get liberty for the weekend of the dance (meaning they could actually leave campus overnight). DH asked me to send him a pair of pink panties...so I sent the biggest, ugliest pair of pink granny panties I could find!

Who wants to help me scheme to get even with her on her wedding day?

Granny panty centerpieces??

dear buck-i-fan..your kids photos..warm my heart!..alot of my brothers...
alter boys..for years.....i almost made it~:rolleyes1 , if it wasn't for
"one incident".

Sounds like a story Grump. Let's hear about 'the incident' !

LOL! I tell the kids to get lots of spit in their mouth. :rotfl2:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hola all! Back from WDW and back to reality! We had a great time and dd had a great 10th birthday! I see you've been a chatty bunch, so time to ketchup up!

I hope you had a great time! Can't wait to hear about it.

So after I fooled Disney into thinking I was PIF by shifiting my balance due to the ole AmEx, I went ahead and also purchased a new gown for formal night. Now when I say new, I actually mean the first formal gown I've ever bought, worn, or even looked at. Never went to the prom and all the weddings I've ever been to have been more on the casual end. I'm a very simple person with no reason for anything fancy so this was a big deal. It arrived in the mail today and it's amazing. I even had to laugh that I don't have any closests tall enough for it to fit into. It's gotta be nutz to be so excited about a silly gown! :rotfl: Now if I can just loose about an inch it'll actually fit. :lmao: :lmao:

Cheers!

Yay! Pretty dresses!
What does it look like?

The idea of someone unpacking my under garments freaks me out! DH wouldn't want anyone to touch his *stuff* but, himself. I don't think he would even want me to unpack for him! LOL!

Would you belive that MIL packs everything for my FIL??? The man goes on vacation with absolutely no concept of what he is bringing with him!

I don't think M has her's yet either. Perhaps they're printing a "shunned" edition. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Nope. Nothin'.

Mike has inspired me to get my camera out and start taking some pictures, since it is still relatively new to me. Today offered an excellent opportunity. For the past 6 months or so we have had a covey of quail that occasionally visit our backyard. Today the dog went running out the door so I went to check. One of the males jumped up into the rosemary in the back of our yard. So here we have the California State Bird.

P5050017.jpg

Why, hello California State Bird.

Nice pic Roger.

My Question: Besides Disney, what is your dream vacation - spare no expense? Traveling across the country in an RV with my son... no highways..... stopping to see the sights & meeting the lots of people along the way... My ultimate dream!!!

Have you ever read Blue Highways by William Least Heat Moon?

He traveled around the country on back roads (blue on the map). It is a great book.

Who wants to help me scheme to get even with her on her wedding day?

snidely.jpg

Oooooo.... can I be on this TASK FORCE??!?!

And if so - may I begin with proposal #1,... we slip her something in a drink to make it INTERESTING during the wedding?

Uugghh! I'm still over 60 pages behind! Ketchup is taking me forever this evening.

Oh no... 6 years AND 60 pounds or 6 years OR 60 lbs.

I really have no interest in lugging a car seat for a 53 lb. 8 year old! Heck, DS9 is only 64 lbs.

My 8 and 10 year old still ride in a booster seat here at home. Yes, I am a mean mom! :rotfl2:

My 9 for just 5 days DS weighs around 50 lbs! He is so skinny you can see his bones. He eats reasonably (although he isn't really "into" food) but he never sits still and just burns it all off.

I just got off with Disney Visa as they have not added my extra X 5 rewards for the months of January and February!!! I am getting them to audit my entire account!!!:rolleyes1

This was a promotion from my Disney Visa Card which gave me 5 times or 5% of every dollar I spent on gas, groceries, drug stores, and dining for the months of January, February and March for Disney Reward D:flower3: ollars. Usually there is a threshold amount but this time it was from the first dollar spent with a cap of $100 extra Disney Dollars. I did not receive any as yet so my account is being audited so I can get my extra money!! I am over $200 to put on my shipboard credit!!!:woohoo: :cheer2: I hope this makes since.:confused3

I did not get any for April, May, or June this time.:sad2: :sad2: See above post for list for last quarter. :thumbsup2 It is picked by random.

Cheryl - How do you know you have been "picked" for one of these promotions? Does it show up on your statement or do you have to sign up for it or something? We've had our Disney Visa since "Day 1" and as far as I know we've never had anything like this....

Definitely plan on hanging out with the monkeys:thumbsup2 I'll observe the tarantula and the snake from afar:eek: They also have water slides:woohoo:

Actually, how about I watch you meet and greet the tarantula:woohoo: Chances are I'll freak out drop it and step on it, accidently:rolleyes1

That's why I'm observing...from the restaurant area...with Julie... and some other scaredy cats...and a drink....or two:goodvibes

I'm a scaredy cat! :rotfl: I am extremely afraid of heights (even our verandah will make me uncomfortable and I rarely go near the railing) and will be perfectly happy to sit this out. I am also not very fond of spiders, so I will give any tarantula a wide berth. Strangely enough, snakes don't bother me at all. My biggest problem will be trying very, very hard not to think about what DS and DH are doing zipping along way above the ground...

This is a great idea...

... only problem with my reading material is I don't know if anyone would be intested in my SciFi / Fantasy yarns.

I'm definitely interested:thumbsup2 Forgot how it was done before though. Book plates are a good way of getting a book back if wanted:confused3

I don't read nonfiction unless I have too:upsidedow SciFi/Fantasy are my favorite:woohoo:

SF/Fantasy is most of what I read - I'd be glad to participate in some sort of Dislibrary.

Scifi / Fantasy is my favorite......maybe that is why we are weird!!;) ;)

I would also be interested in a book swap. I read a lot of different stuff including fantasy/sci-fi, silly romances, mysteries, non-fiction, etc. I will be bringing some "real" books and some audio books on the MP3 player. Once I finish ketchup here, I'll go over to the pirate zone and check it out there.

Pamela

Hey everyone,

Silly request here. DS was asking me earlier if anyone posted a birthday cake for him this year (he remembered the ones from last year). I'm not totally caught up yet, but I am past his b-day (May 1st - 9th birthday) and I don't think it was noticed this year (Not surprising, since I wasn't on all week!) Any chance one or two of you could post a belated- birthday cake?

Thanks,

Pamela

If I have missed anyone who is interest - please let me know. Many of you offered to donate and we already had that category so I am hoping I remembered to respond to everyone in regards to that. If not - please forgive me!

If anyone has and is interest..we still need a Cat 1, Cat 2, Cat 7 and a Cat 12! Thanks!

Not sure if we're supposed to PM for this or not, but we'd like to join in. It looks like you already have a Cat 8. We would have volunteered our "mini-suite" of connecting Cat 8's.

Everyone that is interested should be able to go on the Cartagena excursion--I had told him it might be upwards of 100 folks. I know there will be several choices of itineraries and we will be put into comfortable groups. :goodvibes

Signed up on the Piratezone. However, I can't check that at work as it's been "banned" for some reason as a "game". Anyway, I'll try to check it at night but won't be able to tomorrow. When will we know if we're on the tour or not?

The author is Rick Riordan. The character is Percy Jackson (took me a little to figure it out! :) ) We picked up the first book, The Lightening Thief, yesterday for my DD...she started reading it about 4pm our time and ha trouble putting it down..she loves it. Unfortunately, she is already 300 pages into it and almost down and asking when she can get book 2! :rotfl:

At our book store it was $7.99

Yes, my DS was the same way. He loved them and read all three in a week. I preordered the new book (as he refered to it before I had to correct him -- the fourth in the trilogy) from Amazon so I hope the post office delivers it tomorrow or I'm in big trouble!!

Hopefully it wasn't too late, but I finally sent in the request for the PV zipline tours now that all 3 boys have said yes to it. I guess I'll find out tomorrow if we made it.

Happy Monday Everyone !! We survived the week-end !!

DS8 got to try pitching yesterday. Look at that face !!

Darren hit about 11 batters in his first game pitching:rolleyes1

Who wants to help me scheme to get even with her on her wedding day?

I can tell you what was done to us on our wedding:rolleyes1
It would have been funny if it worked:confused3

Weeks after most of you, I finally got my cruise planning kit today -- interestingly enough the letter was dated March 20! At any rate, apparently because mine had been delayed so long, they sent a cover letter of apology along with a special number to call today to make

one excursion per port,
one Palo brunch and one Palo dinner,
one Castaway Cay cabana massage,
and one complementary spa "Alone time" appointment with Ben (the cute blonde Australian who does great massages) . . .

Glad to know they finally got it to you:thumbsup2

Yep. And of course I just HAD to lean over the railing and take a picture.

Remember to be careful....you never know where I'll be with my camera!

I was just thinking that:rolleyes1 :lmao: :lmao:
