:wave2: everyone - the rooms are a mess, the dog has complications from her tooth surgery, I have not packed one iota, and I'm fit to be tied. But other than that - I'm good to go! NOT! Oh well, one thing is for sure, if I don't pack tomorrow - this carcass is getting on that plane to FL w/o clothes. What the heck, I can just buy some over there right? :rotfl2:

Just checking in - have missed the last 100 pages or so but you all knew that right? OK - just had to check in as my brain was going  Wonder if I can pack tonight?

I have decided that I will start a new blog and as soon as I do - I will post on here JUST IN CASE anyone is interested. OK all - off I go to attempt packing.

:rolleyes1
Hooray! I enjoyed your Med blog; glad you will write again!

Hi Laura! You have tons of time to pack. I started packing for the Panama Canal trip in 2005 about ohhh 65 mins before I left for the port.

Remember me from the Eastbound in 2005 and the west bound transatlantic?

Do the mods on here join all the trip reports together? Guess I'd better :tiptoe: over there to check out if anyone started one already - that is why I just go to my blog. OH! girls are here - maybe she can start me on one! I promise here today that I will finish this one no matter what. I now know that I can type it into my laptop and post later.

No, each person's report is left seperate. The group could always have the individual trip reports listed in the first post of the thread when we get back for easy tracking? :)

 Hey there! Glad to see your posting. We were slowing down but guess now we're picking up.

I'm going to pull a you this time, so is Steve, he just got the garment bag down and his other suit will be done tonight! OH NO! Totally forgot that! Anyway, I have a feeling I will still be packing at 65 minutes out myself - now to figure out how we're getting to the airport! :headache: I am SOOOOO BAD this trip - I'm always done with this part usually, don't know what has gotten into me.

Thanks Lisa - always wondered about that! Now I know to look for my own! :rotfl:

That's the exact picture I was thinking of when I posted about your "banner". Didn't realize that was your neighbor!

Yep. And of course I just HAD to lean over the railing and take a picture.

Remember to be careful....you never know where I'll be with my camera!

My DD is :rotfl2: .... If I was going to wash them and hang them..I think I would use my room..no need for everyone to see those!

Ok..funny story...atleast to me... A year or so back..we took a Celebrity cruise to Hawaii...We booked a suite as it was 2 weeks and there were 4 of us...it came with a butler to unpack for you...DH thought I was crazy as I insited that no one was going to upack and see my Target granny panties! I think my poor DH spends to much time just shaking his head

We've had a butler a couple of times, and I won't let them unpack MY undies either!

I don't know when you need to go to the airport but I may be able to take you! Let me know.

So after I fooled Disney into thinking I was PIF by shifiting my balance due to the ole AmEx, I went ahead and also purchased a new gown for formal night. Now when I say new, I actually mean the first formal gown I've ever bought, worn, or even looked at. Never went to the prom and all the weddings I've ever been to have been more on the casual end. I'm a very simple person with no reason for anything fancy so this was a big deal. It arrived in the mail today and it's amazing. I even had to laugh that I don't have any closests tall enough for it to fit into. It's gotta be nutz to be so excited about a silly gown! :rotfl: Now if I can just loose about an inch it'll actually fit. :lmao: :lmao:

Cheers!

Now is about the time I regret buying my dresses a little too small. There is not way I am losing that much weight before the cruise. :lmao:

Congrats on the new gown. It's never silly to be excited over a new outfit! I have to go shopping to get new clothes but I am waiting for a bit to see how much I lose before the cruise..so far a little over 15 pounds!

Penny...

... this happened to be the 1st posting I read when I logged into our thread to see where I last left off... and I had to say your comments were simply very nice and made me feel good. I know I'm one of the zany ones - possibly one that some wince at when they see i've posted yet another non-sensical bi of dribble... and I imagine there might be a few who crack a steady smle when they come across one of my postings too... so your posting - though it does not refer to me specificly, it sure sounds NICE. And I'l take it as it sounds - that you crack smiles, chuckles, and silent grins with all sorts of nonsense (and practical stuff) that goes on here.

And simply... having spread out the long version... may I now offer the short version...

Penny, thank you for sharing your good will and "smiles". It was well received in Westlake Village tonite! Hope your week to come is a beaaa-Uuuu-tiiii-ful one!

Sooo... on another note... Julianna and I just got in from seeing Iron Man with a freind and his son. It was a nice ride except for a few slightly racy moments - when my daughter knew enough to avert her eyes - and a couple of slightly intense moments. It is highly recommended for the hip action "set" enthusiasts. And we agreed that it was a nice return to the big screen for Richard Dowdy Jr.. Now - I wonder if I can get some cool Iron Man toys off ebay any time soon? I want a glowing blue power disc to wear on my chest!

Thanks for the kind words.... I always enjoy your fun take on life and stuff! Also love the pics & thingies you add... always good for a laugh & smile:goodvibes I hope you have a stupendous week also!!!

Someone beat me to it. Our neighbor's verandah, the first time DCL had ever gone to St Kitts....classy, huh?

Maybe they had too much laundry hanging in the bathroom already?

At least they didn't hang out any candied G-strings decorated in the pattern of a Union Jack!

Weeks after most of you, I finally got my cruise planning kit today -- interestingly enough the letter was dated March 20! At any rate, apparently because mine had been delayed so long, they sent a cover letter of apology along with a special number to call today to make

one excursion per port,
one Palo brunch and one Palo dinner,
one Castaway Cay cabana massage,
and one complementary spa "Alone time" appointment with Ben (the cute blonde Australian who does great massages) . . .

I did get the planning kit, though, and was very happy to get it as well, even though it is basically useless . . .:goodvibes

I think my neighbor took mine !!
