G'evenin' pirate:s. I biked 30 miles today, now I'm sitting on the deck with a well deserved (ifIdosaysomyself) beer.

DS9 made the travel hockey team - twice the money, three times the time commitment - YAY. DS7 is still waiting to hear.

Deanna - I didn't quote it, but beautiful! Just beautiful!

Did anyone watch the Derby yesterday? It ended up being a nice day, a little chilly. The race was great! Big Brown came from the 20th post to win the race. Eight Belles (the filly) placed 2nd, but collapsed after the race with 2 broken front legs and was euthanized 8 minutes later. It really put a damper on the race.:sad2:

So sad. I can't imagine the rollercoaster that horse's "family" went through over 10 minutes.

Yeah but if you think about it- just the fear alone of not being able to book what I wanted forced me to take a cruise so I could be a repeat cruiser ao maybe the are not be dumb after all. :rotfl2:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
They ain't Disney for nothin'

The ship docks earlier than that....they have to get cleared by the local authorities and such....the time listed for the excursion is the time that you would meet with the rest of the group in one of the lounges and such.

For example:
Dolphin Swim
Meet in Animators at 8:45
Sign release forms and get towels
Wait for stragglers
Walk to gangway

By then, it's close to 9:30........

Oh, that is so why I don't book DCL excursions.

I thought you all knew I can walk on water......:worship: :worship: :worship:

justmeyaweh

Since I double posted I am thinking of something witty to say....................Nope nothing!

"I drank what??"

Okay guys & gals...the day is half over and I still have stuff to do. Have I mentioned that I hate ironing and can think of any excuse to put it off?? :)

My excuse for not ironing - dryer and a damp towel.

A big shot attorney had to spend a couple of days in the hospital. He was a royal pain to the nurses because he bossed them around just like he did his staff. None of the hospital staff wanted to have anything to do with him.
The head nurse was the only one who could stand up to him. She came into his room and announced, "I have to take your temperature." After complaining for several minutes, he finally settled down, crossed his arms and opened his mouth.
"No, I'm sorry," the nurse stated, "but for this reading, I can't use an oral thermometer." This started another round of complaining but eventually he rolled over and bared his behind.
After feeling the nurse insert the thermometer, he heard her announce, "I have to get something. Now you stay JUST LIKE THAT until I get back!"
She left the door to his room open on her way out. He cursed under his breath as he heard people walking past his door, laughing.
After a half hour, the man's doctor came into the room. "What's going on here?" asked the doctor.
Angrily, the man answered, "What's the matter, Doc? Haven't you ever seen someone having their temperature taken?"
After a pause, the doctor confessed..... "Not with a carnation."

Wrong flower, but for some reason I'm now humming Everything's Comin' Up Roses

Hey folks, just thought I'd share a discount code I ran across for National. They don't have an office near the port, but if you need a rental car elsewhere, this may help you.

Contract ID - 8572957
Coupon Code - ND2119071Q (blog coupon, no paper coupon needed)

I was able to get the wine van for about half the price of my previous quotes. I couldn't use the coupon though, but still got a great rate.

Wine van?? I don't know what it is, but SIGN ME UP!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: so many things I want to post in response...but it's a family board.

:lmao: So glad I'm not the only one!

Are those online codes only?
I thought there was a National near the port......which one was it that's near the port?

Which port?

California there's an Enterprise?
Florida there's a Budget?

Oops.... nevermind that I just called Roger a smart add......

  I can feel the love

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Paula - now I've got a question for you. (seems that I'm in planning mode this morning). Which zip line are we doing in Cabo? Is it the WildCanyon Monster Zips? Trying to figure out the times so I can plan Cabo Wabo.

Yes Monica, that's it. Our time is 10:30 and we should be back if I remember right around 1 or 1:30, so I figure our meet would be around 10 or so.:goodvibes

Here's the website again, for anyone interested.

http://www.wildcanyon.com.mx/

and a utube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwpJqI_OXGo

We have a rate of $75 for our group of 7. We may be able to get it cheaper if we had more to join. It is no port no pay and they also have a 24 hr cancellation policy for any reason.:)

I wanted to say thanks to everyone for not posting so much that I couldn't ketchup when I got home today!

Hope everyone had a great Sunday! We ran errands but some of them were fun..i got to go play at Company D outlet today and we went to a veggie farm for some fresh fruits and veggies.

Now home to rest..I need to call my Girl Scouts about our meeting tomorrow night..need to move it to a location where I don't have to do much with my back.

That always makes me laugh!!!! Thanks!

I actually just type it up in a Word program, save it and then go back and make changes as needed.
When it gets to cruise (or any trip) time, I make it smaller and laminate it to take along.

I'm even OCD enough that I type out a list of each outfit that I'm taking and what night/day I'm wearing it....you know, this top goes with this skirt for Brunch, etc.....
In my defense, once I unpack, they are sometimes not "paired" like they were when I packed them.

Okay....no excuse...I'm just anal.

Wow, that is really impressive. My goal is to make sure everyone has underwear!

FYI..anyone who may be interested in going in (but not referring to the time for the meet)..the restaurant opens at 11am. I am trying to plan my day in Cabo and wanted to check.

Did she tell them that you simply need a Mom who is not only obsessive, but DISNEY obsessive, who does all the planning for you??? :lmao: :lmao:

Kidding.....she really is an amazing individual....I couldn't have asked for a nicer daughter.

Ummmmm, most likely, you had something to do with it! :lovestruc

Paula -
I've been keeping track of those who expressed an interest in the private tour that you've been working on.
So far there are 21 families listed. Shall I list them here??

Could you add 4 adults to your list... :goodvibes it will be Dh & I and my DMIL & DFIL..

made of wine? full of wine? wine colored? wine run?

hehehe....I wondered who would pick up on that......full of wine!!

For TOAL, I'm driving down to LA from the San Francisco area. Mostly so I can bring my wine along with me and not worry about how to get it to LA. I've booked a minivan even though it's just DS and I. Needed room for all the luggage and more importantly WINE! I may be able to be persuaded to perform a delivery service since I'm just about 30 minutes from the Napa Valley.

California.....and thanks, I can never remember Enterprise. Guess I'm not enough of a Star Trek fan.

Stace there is an Enterprise across from the World Cruise Center and I have reports that there is a Dollar Rental desk at the Double Tree. I will check it out on 5/25 when I head down to San Pedro.

  Good job, went out for my first ride since surgery this morning myself. Was this an all day ride or a couple of hours?

I honestly don't know the rules to the code, but I do know they work when booking online.

I searched CA locations for National and the only thing they had in LA and Long Beach were at the airports. They didn't have a city location listed nearby.

I know Enterprise is at the port. There is one other, but I always forget who. I'm thinking Budget or Avis??
