We booked a beach thing for Cartegena, so you can remove us (please and thank you!!)

Can you put us down as interested? There are 7 of us. Not sure exactly what the trip involves, but we are interested in doing a tour of Cartegena.

There are 7 of us! Thanks! :)

Well my FIL & BIL just left and Chuck & I are a little concerned about something.............Chuck's Dad is suppose to come and stay here while we are on TOAL. We just found out he is on Morphine every 4 hours & other strong medicines that's why the brother drove.:rolleyes1

Chuck's Dad doesn't look well. another piece of info. that some don't know, while WE were on the Magic in Aug. 06 my MIL passed away. We found out the morning we arrived in port.

It's hard to talk about with DH , seems so fresh still with what happened to his Mom. I don't think Chuck's Dad is in any condition to be here to take care of Dante. Not to mention we are VERY concerned about him and leaving.:sad2: :sad2:

Just don't know what to do........ I can't put Dante in boarding, last trip we came back he was really stressed and had no voice because he barked the entire time we were gone.

Oh Tina. I'm dorry for you and CHuck. I hope FIL's condition is temporary.

:)

I figure if we are this excited about it, we can call it a TOAL. I mean, doesn't it seem like a lifetime between booking it and going on it? :lmao:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Wait of a lifetime!

You had mentioned you booked all non DCL excursions - I was just wondering what you and your family had planned. We too are looking at mostly non DCL excursions

I haven't read back the last few pages so I am not sure if this has been posted

The Best of Cartagena tour is now listed in the shore excursions for booking

Finally ketched up. BUT, I have to go to work now, UGH.

Something exciting happened in our household today.

My DH left early this morning for a business trip out of state and my DS16 missed the bus because DD14 put away all the shoes yesterday and he couldn't find his...:confused3 :confused3. But, because DH is gone, I couldn't leave DD3 and DD10 here alone. So, we didn't know what to doooo, until...well....

Well, DS16 just got his DRVIERS LICENSE last week. So I told him to go ahead and take my van! :scared1: :scared1:

So, it was the first time he drove alone. He called me when he got there to say he made it! WHEW! Exciting stuff. (School is only about 1 mile away, so not too far.) He is a fairly timid guy and hasn't even asked if he could go anywhere on his own yet. So this was a good opportunity to push him a little as we really had no choice!

Acapulco - we're just going to roam, maybe try to catch the divers from a non-tour location I've read about...of course I have to find it again...
Aruba - Jolly Rogers Jolly Pirates snorkeling
Cartegena - not sure yet, most likely Mr. Emerald if that comes together, if not we're just going to roam.
CC - I hope I have enough DHC (Disney Hammock Club) points to secure 2 hammocks for the day. :) Rugby and drinking as may free drinks as Peter is willing to buy. ;)

Yay for him!

Now, you better watch out! He may be asking for the van keys more often. Just don't let him get one of those bumper stickers that says "If this van's-a-rockin..."

Gel seat :confused3 You mean I have to bring my own seat too. :sad2:

Rog.... You can do class without one... But i prefer to save my A$$ for sitting by the pool later on.... I've always used my gel cover for classes. Actually my DH wants one too for regular bike rides now that i've let him borrow mine a couple times.

You and my DH need to get together. He keeps calling Robert Downey Jr Richard as well.

I  Robert Downey Jr. Love his singing too.... I'm glad Hollywood has given him another chance. (He's cute even in his mug shot. I'd put him on my "pass" list.)

I've used the gym. It is small. If you want to do classes, run, don't walk to the gym when you board. They have sign up sheets for all the classes and only about 20 spots in each class.

THey do not have sign ups for spinning. On our 7 day---didn't have sheets for the other ones either... It was first come first serve which is why i always was in the gym a half hour earlier....

 Sorry to hear that Tina.... Have you looked into an in-home sitter?

We've found some really good ones over the years. Ask at your vet's office (if you have one yet) sometimes the vet tech's do it on the side for extra $.

I have a couple of those "OMG this wafer taste like glue" shots from DD's FC. I can't believe it's been 7 yrs since hers.... The kids in our congregation do theirs at regular mass times (yesterday) and seemed so young.... One girl was barely even 3 feet tall... (an itty bitty)

Lovely photos . . . congratulations to you and the other first communion photos that I might have missed in my congrats . . .

I use the patch and carry a bottle of water with me everywhere. ;) I think that is one of the reasons that I lost 10lbs on the 10nt cruise..... I don't want to lose any weight on this cruise!
I lost weight on the last cruise (7 day), too, but I thought it was because we did SO MUCH WALKING everywhere and all the swimming from snorkeling and in the Quiet Cove pool (which was usually empty). I have to work to overcome the seasickness, too. Ginger did NOTHING for me, but the SeaBands that you wear on your wrist did the trick (and no drugs . . .LOL).

Yay for him!

Now, you better watch out! He may be asking for the van keys more often. Just don't let him get one of those bumper stickers that says "If this van's-a-rockin..."

:lmao: Does that work for minivans???

Oh, sorry for the wrong info. I guess it has changed. On our 2006 cruise they had sign up sheets for yoga and aerobics. Not sure about spinning since I don't spin.

My words of advice to the kids just before Mass...chew. I remember the Host getting stuck to the roof of my mouth. And I was 12! (Episcopal church - we had first communion and confirmation at the same time)

I have a couple of those "OMG this wafer taste like glue" shots from DD's FC.

In our church, the kids who haven't received FC yet can come up and our minister will put her hand on their head and give them a blessing. At my grandmother's funeral, because we were pall bearers, my brother and I were in a row behind my parents, Linda and the kids, and my brother's girlfriend. Hailey asked if she could go up for a blessing at communion. Since it wasn't our church, we told her not to go up. Somehow, she ended up in the line in front of my Mom. Linda and I realized it as we were a few people back and she reached the minister. We breathed a little sigh of relief as we saw her shake her head no. Then the next thing we knew, she was taking the wafer! At that point, it wouldn't have done us any good to yell, so we just walked back to the pew. She had the wafer in her mouth for at least 5 minutes, and that look on her face a whole lot longer! She actaually brought a smile to my face on such a sad day, because i could just picture my grandmother looking down on her and laughing her butt off.

How about a house sitter? We have lots of friends with animals that do that. One of my friends was house sitting for a neighbor to take care of their chickens while they were gone. She got to keep all the eggs!

My DS13 watches our neighbors dogs and cats when they are out of town. They live 4 houses down the street. We don't have a lot of contact with them outside of the dog sitting, but my DS loves the opportunity to earn $$ for the cruise :)

You'll find an answer.
