Also, Im not so sure this is a "TOAL". I said the same thing about eastbound Panama Canal trip in 2005 and I'm booked again, and I know if Disney announces another down the line, I'll book that one too.

Has anyone used the gym on the ship, additionally has anyone done any of the "free" classes they offer?

I am just curious, as I have never been able to work it into my schedule before. (3 day, 7 day mexican & 12 day med) I am thinking I may actually try to use it since I have been seeing a trainer now for 6 weeks (14/15 more sessions till TOAL) and would hate to have wasted the money. Similarly I have never used the pools either. Also, I would love to find those of you who party and hang at Rockn' D and get out there and dance and interact (same for the deck parties) as I have always just watched from a distance due to being with my dad. I know.

I am looking forward to doing tons of things I have never done before on the cruise. Breaking out of my shell. You all seem like a fun group and I am looking forward to my vacation!

I've used the gym. It is small. If you want to do classes, run, don't walk to the gym when you board. They have sign up sheets for all the classes and only about 20 spots in each class. I've always wanted to do the early morning yoga class on CC and haven't gotten in. You don't sign up for the machines, but there is sometimes a wait. Run, jog, walk around deck 4 is another option - and take the stairs!

I went for a little 7 mile ride today just to check everything out. Everything was good so tomorrow I will probably bump it back to 20+ miles. You sound like you had a fun day.

Both Costco and Sam's have snorkel sets here now. We are bringing our own, they really don't weigh too much.

We've always brough our own gear (from Costco). Not sure this time. It will be among the first to go if things don't fit in the 2 square feet of luggage space we're allowed.

Sooo... on another note... Julianna and I just got in from seeing Iron Man with a freind and his son. It was a nice ride except for a few slightly racy moments - when my daughter knew enough to avert her eyes - and a couple of slightly intense moments. It is highly recommended for the hip action "set" enthusiasts. And we agreed that it was a nice return to the big screen for Richard Dowdy Jr.. Now - I wonder if I can get some cool Iron Man toys off ebay any time soon? I want a glowing blue power disc to wear on my chest!

I like Robert Downey Jr. I think he's a great actor. But big summer action movie seems like such a departure for him. I read an interview a few weeks ago where he basically said, "Well Keanu got Matrix, Johnny got Pirates, I wanted one of those big summer movie too!" It made me laugh.

Greetings everyone! Hope I didn't miss too much being gone this weekend, it seems you all were quite chatty and I refuse to go back and try to ketchup - I will be here all week.

All went well with DD98 first communion - she would not drink the wine though - we assured her it was okay. She looked beautiful in her pretty white dress and tiara - same tiara she will wear for formal night - maybe even the same dress!

After first communion DD and I left for VA Beach and visited Cape Henry lighthouse, spent some time playing around on the beach and then went to the VA beach aquarium where we spent the night with our brownie troop on a very HARD concrete floor but the fishes more than made up for it. We really had fun, its good to be home but its another monday - eek. At least its one more monday til the TOAL! Its inching closer slow but sure!

Have a great week everyone - next week here is SOL's, not sure how much I will be around!

Congrats to DD! I'm glad it went well. (and I assume she's not 98!)

Well my FIL & BIL just left and Chuck & I are a little concerned about something.............Chuck's Dad is suppose to come and stay here while we are on TOAL. We just found out he is on Morphine every 4 hours & other strong medicines that's why the brother drove.


Chuck's Dad doesn't look well. another piece of info. that some don't know, while WE were on the Magic in Aug. 06 my MIL passed away. We found out the morning we arrived in port.


It's hard to talk about with DH , seems so fresh still with what happened to his Mom. I don't think Chuck's Dad is in any condition to be here to take care of Dante. Not to mention we are VERY concerned about him and leaving.

Just don't know what to do........ I can't put Dante in boarding, last trip we came back he was really stressed and had no voice because he barked the entire time we were gone.
