Talking about books for kids - have any of you read the Piers Anthony "Xanth" series? Fantasy - they've been around for awhile - I ended up reading them too!!!

Also, "The Dragon Riders of Pern" series - can't remember the author at the moment.

My kids and grandkids and I all enjoy the same books!!

You and my DH need to get together. He keeps calling Robert Downey Jr Richard as well. we have a developer here in Orlando whos girls used to skate with DD and his name is Dowdy. Those of you visiting the Idrive area may have seen his shopping strips. He also owned the Ice rink /bowling alley.

I tell ya, it is so NOT a surprise to hear of this developement.

On another related note... my buddy who joined us fer da movie confided....

... his spouse was mad at hime tonite. She told him "I may or may not be home when you get home"...

And I should say the note with which this was shared suggests it was NOT all THAT serious,

Besides I know his spouse well enuf to assume it is NOT all that bad sounding....

... alas, my point is I counseled my buddy to relax - be really good when he gets home and consider:

I get into some kind of "hot water" with Alicia 2-3x a week, if not daily!

Sometimes I think the girls somehow ENJOY kicking thier husbands around a bit!

So after 24 years with her - and since my buddy has half the years with his spouse as I ....

... I told him to get used to it cuz when he gets to 24 years it will just be more of the same....

... he seemed at ease with my suggestions.

Then the conversation turned to ideas for mothers' day gifts and such.​

Stace there is an Enterprise across from the World Cruise Center and I have reports that there is a Dollar Rental desk at the Double Tree. I will check it out on 5/25 when I head down to San Pedro

Thanks.... I have a van rented, but with a one-way drop off I have to take it to the Orange County airport, transfer all our stuff and then have Super Shuttle take us to San Pedro. I'm thinking of going back to my local Enterprise (who charges an extra $300 for one-way) to see if I can bargain with them.

Greetings everyone! Hope I didn't miss too much being gone this weekend, it seems you all were quite chatty and I refuse to go back and try to ketchup - I will be here all week.

All went well with DD98 first communion - she would not drink the wine though - we assured her it was okay. She looked beautiful in her pretty white dress and tiara - same tiara she will wear for formal night - maybe even the same dress!

After first communion DD and I left for VA Beach and visited Cape Henry lighthouse, spent some time playing around on the beach and then went to the VA beach aquarium where we spent the night with our brownie troop on a very HARD concrete floor but the fishes more than made up for it. We really had fun, its good to be home but its another monday - eek. At least its one more monday til the TOAL! Its inching closer slow but sure!
