Awesome book, buy it! I bought it Friday and I am almost done with it, it's hard to put it down, but life calls.:guilty:

I also got the new Julie Andrew biography, thought I would take it on the cruise but not sure I can wait that long.

I've actually held off buying it just for that reason! I know once I get it I won't be able to put it down! Thanks for the review! :thumbsup2

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOM (CRASH)

I just went to the DCL contact us page and sent the following:

Perhaps if they get enough requests, they will move on this.

If I remember correctly, it wasn't available for westbound until the week or so before their 90 day window....

Do you know where this would be available? Would it be on the website or will we get a mailing? I can't remember from our prior cruises. Thanks!

So now the consensus on "Andrew's Panama Thread" is that there is no Palo brunch on Panama Day. For those that want to try & plan a Palo brunch for the same day/time, what day would be the best? Any ideas?

I don't think they post it, but the TA's and people who ask can get it

Have any Canadians gotten their package yet? Thanks.

Also, any Canadians in the Toronto area up for a DIS meet at Square One or Yorkdale ??? PM me if you are interested! I think there are at least three of us!

Who was collecting names for the Doubletree to see about a group rate?

How muck is it to get to Double Tree from LAX????:confused3 :confused3

Have a great Sunday

Thanks for update on the weather down there. My dad was asking me about it today. We're flying down to Orlando for a few days at the end of April to go to Busch Garden / SeaWorld's new waterpark. Had some free plane tickets that we had to use up and we have passes to Busch Gardens so the trip is nearly free . . .LOL The website says the waterpark has a sand beach. That's where I'll be hanging out :)

Hope it stays warm and sunny for a few more week!

Now that DS11 is playing in the majors he has 2-3 practices/week and 1-2 games per week.

The crazy thing is the organization has gotten so big that they need to use fields scattered aroung the district. We end up with a 1:00 game here & a 2:00 practice there, and snack bar duty.

I keep telling my self it's better than sitting at home listening to them beg to play the wii.

LOL .. . I know the feeling. Here, after March 1 through November 1, I just become a baseball mom .. .LOL. My DS13 is playing Jrs and for a high school team (although Jrs hasn't started yet). We're about 1/2 way through the high school season which end in early May. . .just in time for Jrs to pickup. My other DS11 has an amazing coach so we're at it 3-4 days a week with him. . . I just carry my chair and my scorekeeper stuff every where I go . . .LOL. The back of my Pilot is just so messy this time of year.

Hey . . how do you manage to keep up with their baseball laundry. We have one weekend this season where DS11 has a game Friday, Saturday, and Monday! Makes pitching interesting, but a clean uniform is a toughy.

Baseball season is awesome . . .ya'll will see me with my baseball tan on the ship. . .comes from spending too much time at games and not enough time at the pool. ..LOL

Have a super day!

That's great. I was so nervous about telling our school principal that my kids would be missing the first week of school, but she was fine with it. I did start getting a bit more excited after talking to her, though!

Kim

LOL . . .our principal booked our cruise. The joy of homeschooling :) My kids will miss the first month of school due to before trip craziness and my sister's wedding on the other coast a week later. We usually start on August 1 . .this year we'll be doing well to start by September 15th!! Been thinking about schooling extra during the summer, but I don't think I could bear it. I need a break, too :)

Hope everyone has understanding school officials. Golly, you just can't get more educational than riding through the Panama Canal.

Well folks, I think I am the only late night poster anymore. I am actually staying caught up with all the interesting discussions here. Can't wait to see what's happening with ya'll tomorrow.

Sweet dreams!

Some pics of me and Mum on our recent trip in Hawaii. Please note the rats, and also the Pooh and tink t-shirts ;)

I buy extra pants & socks. Although this year DS11 scored the highly coveted Yankees shirt (white w/blue pinstripe). Not sure what I'm going to do about that.

Does anyone know what happened to my weekend? Last time I looked it was right here with some dancing bananas.

Have a good one.
