Yeah, just booked our return flights home on SW...$105 nonstop to Houston! We decided to come home on Tues, Sept. 2, so that DD could celebrate her 4th birthday at WDW on Monday. :cool1: Looks like my two oldest will be missing 6 days of school now! The principal was fine with 5 days...let's hope one more day doesn't make a difference! Besides, what's more fun...school or WDW!

Kim

I am so happy you decided to celebrate her bday there! It is the best place to have a bday!!! You will have a blast!

Haven't seen a pirate joke of the day lately, so how about these "Pirate Pet Peeves":

Love that one!

Woot!!

We just booked Sept 2 flight from MCO to OAK - $155/pp. Too bad I didn't see M's post about the 15% off. Oh well.

Now I just have to decide if it's worth it to buy WDW tix for 1.5 days...

Yippeee!! We booked our return flight home!!! $115 from MCO to SMF (Sacramento) on the 6th!

We are PIF :cheer2: :cheer2: - have our flight to LA (United has changed the times 3 times already) and now we have our flight booked home!!

It's getting that much closer!

Have a good Friday everyone.

Great price. I might have to see about flying into Sac. I could have my brother pick us up. Was that on Southwest?

GMTA! I have a bin that I started last summer -- when I started buying FE gifts. And I have all of our Pirate costumes in a couple of tubs on the top shelf in my closet. I still need to get a few pieces made to add -- I want to change up our costumes from the last time we wore them!

I'm still trying to get ours sewn.

mmmm, boneless pork chop in a bag.

You missed the best part - shelf stable boneless porkchop in a bag!

I just saw a 12 pack of Sam Summer for the first time yesterday at the store . . . I also successfully had it on draught when eating out last Sunday . . .:thumbsup2

Still none here. I just checked. :(

Did you see ALL of Tom/Job???????????:confused3 I mean, boils, well, often get covered by clothing, I'll bet:confused3

Umm, no. I did not see all of Tom
Although we did meet for coffee a block from the Mayflower Hotel. :rotfl:

As for how to take a punch guy, I hear he gives "alone time" massages on the Magic . . .

I know what I'm booking at 12:01 am :rolleyes1

Thanks M! I just booked airfare for a reunion in DC in October! Got the 15 % off, so not bad. Never flown into BWI before, but I see that there is a bus you can catch at the airport that goes to one of the Metro stations. We arrive durring rush hour!

For a weekend? You will most likely make it to DC in time to turn around and go back to the airport.

Debi, I honestly hope that it excludes Adam. He has only been hospitalized once with a severe attack, but he uses a preventive inhaler (Advair) and an albuterol inhaler on an as needed basis. He has been trying to lose some weight and has taken up running and he has been having quite a bit of trouble wheezing. I guess I am just one of those "clingy" moms--he is my only child and I don't want him half way around the world. But I won't try to stand in his way, I do want him to be happy.

I'm on the same meds, along with Singular. Of course, I'm also an ex-smoker too! Hospitalized with pnuemomia at least 3 times in my late 20's-early 30's.

I had the funniest experience today.
I had to go to the office and I ran into a very good friend whom I used to work with very closely. He said to me "I was talking about you last night". He said "Did you know that there was a 15 day Disney cruise that goes through the Panama Canal? A good friend of mine is going to be on the cruise" I said "Not only do I know about it- I am on it!" He rolled his eyes and said "I should have known you would be on that cruise. :cool1:
Turns out his friend is on the West bound. I asked him to find out if he was on the DIS.
Now my reputation as the office Disney nut is firmly intact. :)

Don't worry Coral....Kevin has a "Disney Nut" at his office too! :thumbsup2

My house last night....... The large piles of hail on still here -- killing my brand new landscaping! Our front yard, driveway, street are covered with oak leaves & branches. Since we are the only ones living on our street I suppose that means that I am in charge of clean up! LOL! There is a pretty good size limb in the street........

Oh my!

You really know how to party!

How is Lauryn feeling today?
we just got done partying hard at lauryn's bday party...only a week late, but oh well! they had alot of fun swimming!! it was a great party!! and no clean up needed!
i finished my day partying by cleaning the rest of the house! yuck!
lauryn is feeling fine and dandy! that is the great thing about her having those chicken pox...there was no itching/scratching/scabbing/etc...so she's felt just fine. we've been hanging out and enjoying our quiet...daycare kids will be back on monday morning...blah!

Yesterday I took our recyclables in for redemption. I had enough plastic to fill a 55 gallon trash can at the turn in station... plus a couple of dozen cans (we don't drink much soft drinks) ... and I had 3 glass bottles. Wanna guess what all that (mostly plastic water and juice bottles) came to in dollars?.....

I see folks bringing in bags and bags and bags of this stuff ... and they don't look like regular folks like me bringing their own discards - but they're bringing in stuff collected from public places. And I figure they're turning in no more than $20 or $30 in stuff. It's bewildering ... but good as all that stuff would have been trash somewhere else most likely. We need greater incentives to recycle - perhaps we should increase the fees/benefit of recycling, eh?
yep...i had a whopping $7.35 and the back of my van was filled...and i had the seats down.

Want to come over and help me recycle..I am really good at bagging it and have all of it on my back patio - its the dragging it to the recycle place thats a pain for me! I only have about 30 bags out there..volunteers??? I might be able to earn enough for.... a martini tasting!

i always start off really good....thinking i'll take it back before it gets overwhelming....but i never make good on that thought! it's always very overwhelming....which makes me put it off even longer. vicious cycle!

You and Tom a block from the Mayflower . . . and you admit it?:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I'll keep an eye out to see if you have one of those infamous robes when I see you on the TOAL . . .

Get in line behind me to book ab guy for "alone time" . . .:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: If only life was ever that easy!

Yeah - that was on southwest. I looked at Frontier and it was $175 to Sac.... so far $115 was the cheapest I could find.
