OMG! WB is on Part 4! And you all thought we talked a lot!

:lmao:

I'll have to read over there about the nightmare booking issues. I think they have really been way more chatty lately. But they are much closer to sailaway than we are:)

Happy Birthday Alan!!!!!

Fishingonlake.jpg

Had to pirate: but there are so many neat fishing cakes - restrained myself from pirate: 'ing them all!!! Hope Alan had a spectacular B'day!!!

Hi Gang -
Wow - we sure do chat a lot!!! Took ahile to ketchup!

I'm back in L.A. - but getting ready celebrate yet once again for my B'day - I did say that I drag out the celebrating for the entire month of Feb!!! (Alan - join me!!)

HC & Amy --- CONGRATS on the new daughter!! Beautiful children!!

Okay - gotta run - check back tomorrow.

p.s. Spanx - only seemed to work when I didn't need it - as I do now!!!

Starting South Beach Diet tomorrow - hopefully won't need spanx by Aug. LOL

Just browsing over on the kids thread and this post had me chuckling.

Pamela, you've got a real special kid when he states his fav food is artichokes. But, then again, this is the only green food that my kid would eat for years. He's just recently discovered that he does like veggies.

My favorite Disney characters are Mickey and Captain Jack Sparrow
My favorite sport is Karate
My favorite animals are Ostriches and cats
My favorite color is red, blue, yellow and white
My favorite food is artichokes (Its hard to choose - I like everything!)
My favorite subject in school is Art
My favorite song is We're all In this Together (High School Musical)
My favorite show is Mythbusters
My favorite movies are the Pirates of the Caribbean movies

Thanks Crash:goodvibes

He finally found his avatar. Signature is next. Aren't these a bit big for the signature though:confused3

I think it was 7 rooms. I wonder if we can get everyone's attention and find out for sure??

Hello? Calling all Doubletree pre-cruisers!!

We need a head count!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
That might get their attention.......;)

Hey we got a room at the Doubletree for the 16th:goodvibes
I thought the AAA rate was better (or the same) as the group rate though:confused3

If anyone sees the laundry fairy, can you please send her to my house????
I can live without really cleaning my house this week, but laundry is going to be an issue!

:laundy: :laundy: :laundy:

Sorry chickie! I'm done! Shop's closed! I've been doing laundry all day and I still haven't finished with the towels yet. Not to mention the ton of new baby clothes that we have to sort and then keep or toss/donate/resale. I know my folks meant well but really now...a heavy winter bunting at size 6 months? It'll be AUGUST then! C'mon now! Just because we're in Colorado doesn't mean we live on the frozen tundra! :sad2:

 Tell you what, you spring for a container of BioKleen detergent so I can wash diapers and I'll take care of a few loads of laundry for you...but I don't iron!

Please don't be reluctant!

This is really a fun aspect of the DIS community. Let me illustrate a little without spoiling anything. Here are a few doors with thier door decorating and the FISH EXTENDERS hanging off the "fish".

Our first exerience with this was really very pleasant. I don't want to really say anything too specific - except to say this aspect of joiining in thre community is not to be missed. I spent HOURS walking the decks late at nite with DIS friends passing out our FISH gifts. SO yeah... on the other hand I frankly shudder at the thought of hauling enuf fer every cabin of DIS friends on the sailing.... if they ALL had fish extenders that is.

I'm busy collecting items together that can be used for fish gifts. I'm really looking forward to playing "santa".

Our biggest problem is our fish extender, our first attempt looked like it had been made by a small child in a craft class who didn't have a pattern :rotfl2: Here's hoping fish extender #2 is more successful LOL

good evening everyone! the laundry fairy...aka: me....has done her work here. of course, she skipped out completely last week. made for a very loooong weekend of laundry! i'm glad i'm a shopaholic, and the kids had more than enough clothes to get thru the last week, but i can not let myself skip laundry ever again! yuck!!
i'm starting to look for clothes that i can get now for the cruise. what was the verdict on the tux issue? do the guys have to wear tuxes on formal? or do some just wear a suit and tie? what are your kids doing? my boys will be ages 5 and 10....should i get tuxes?? dd is of course gonna wear a pretty dress...she is very easy to shop for. myself, i'm still not sure what i'll take. i really am trying to figure out the boys first.

Thanks for reminding me what a great time I had distributing my presents. I had one person who caught me delivering my english chocolate and couldn't thank me enough as she just loved Aeros and can't get them in the US.

Wow, we can even get Aeros here in NZ, now Reeces Peanut Buttercups we can't get ;)

I also crave Mr Kipling's Cherry Bakewell tarts, we used to be able to get them here but I've not seen them here in years.

As many of you know, my dream WDW job is Tinkerbell. I want to fly to Tomorrowland during Wishes every night in a light-up costume! (2nd choice is the spinny bird lady in Festival of the Lion King)

I was crushed a few years ago when I found out that the height requirement was 5'1" - I'm 5'2".

Anyway - you folks on the 1pm PV zip line are in for a treat. Just wait until I show up in a glowing ferry outfit! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Seriously, I am definately getting a Tink tank top for the occasion and DH is threatening to buy me the wings they sell for the little girl costume. :rotfl:

Hmmm, now where did I put my wand....

QUICK QUICK - a tink-sized bottle of Patron Silver for the first one to get me a picture of M in this - ON THE ZIP! :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

I'll get it all on video for you :thumbsup2

Don't forget the camera. I'm SERIOUSLY considering taking a small printer so that I can print pictures to post all over the ship of this! :rotfl: ;)

Pamela, you've got a real special kid when he states his fav food is artichokes. But, then again, this is the only green food that my kid would eat for years. He's just recently discovered that he does like veggies.

He can dine with my DS7. His meal request for his birthday since he turned 5has been clam chowder and roasted acorn squash. Four was "roast beef chicken". It took me about a week to figure out what he wanted! He turned 4 two months after our first DCL & he had eaten the adult menu roasted chicken several times - roast beef chicken!.

My kids really like ordering from the adult menu on the cruise.

 Tell you what, you spring for a container of BioKleen detergent so I can wash diapers and I'll take care of a few loads of laundry for you...but I don't iron!

Deal! I don't iron either!
Although, I guess shipping costs and going without our skivvies for a week is sort of a deal breaker.

Our biggest problem is our fish extender, our first attempt looked like it had been made by a small child in a craft class who didn't have a pattern :rotfl2: Here's hoping fish extender #2 is more successful LOL

That's why I'm getting mine on E-bay. If I can't photoshop it, I ain't makin' it.

what was the verdict on the tux issue? do the guys have to wear tuxes on formal? or do some just wear a suit and tie? what are your kids doing? my boys will be ages 5 and 10....should i get tuxes?? dd is of course gonna wear a pretty dress...she is very easy to shop for. myself, i'm still not sure what i'll take. i really am trying to figure out the boys first.

My boys have been fine in suits and ties before, but this time I'm getting tuxes for them.

Wow, we can even get Aeros here in NZ, now Reeces Peanut Buttercups we can't get ;)

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:
NO PEANUTBUTTER CUPS????

Shannon,

For what its woth, I will werar my tux if I lose enough weight to actually fit in it again. Otherwise its a dark suit.

Kids, 9&11 at time of. Cruise, growing like weeds. Will NOT get tuxes for them. Will probably just do blue. Blazers for them.

But I'm probably in the minority (and just too cheap to buy wear it once suits or tuxes).
