So is it a specific character he will "be" that night or just a dashing pirate???

Were going to have a crew meeting at the BB in DL and we will dub him "said POTC character " then .... Wow we could actually think of this as the meeting of the Brethren Court and the Blue Bayou can be our Shipwreck Alley ....

Oh Ah - BTW Todd
did I in a moment of temporary insanity agree to drink Tequila w/you in Cabo?

OK, I give up. For the first time ever, I am going to pay someone to do my taxes! I'll admit to being a bit of a control freak, but the whole rental property that wasn't a rental for half the year really has me (and the software) stymied. Great something else to add to my list of "to dos".

I just booked mine and Kevin's,with the tour company directly. Got conformation back for: Aug.20,2008 at 1pm. Mention that your with the group from Disney Cruiseline. It will ask where you want to be piced up at, we said the the Tour Office. Plan on getting a cab(like $4.00 ea) to the office and back.

Paula,

I sent my request to the PV company. Still waiting to hear back. I should be able to let you know in a few days if I'm booked with them or if they we're full.

The tandem zip looks cool.

I just heard back from them this evening. Very nice. It's apparently Peak Season for them right now and are back logged with emails. We were able to get in on the 1:00 PM trip. Cost was $134.30 for 2 adults.

I e-mailed this morning and heard back from them tonight. We're in at 1 p.m. :woohoo: :woohoo: This is going to be FUN! Odd though - I thought we had to pay now. Is everyone's e-mail like this?

I have you penciled in for..

Aug.20 / 1 pm / 2 adults & 2 children

Total cost: $ 232.90 usd

Please see payment information attached.

I need payment 1 week prior to tour, if not I cancel it.

Thank you.

Aby

...or did I book the wrong thing????

I contacted the Franklin Institute regarding the star wars exhibit.
We were thinking it might be possible to do a mini meet. Here's some info:

1) We could buy tickets through group sales. It's about $5.00 cheaper. We could all be admitted to the exhibit at the same time. The down side is moving money around & issues associated with cancellations.

or

2) We could but tickets for the same date & the same window (am or pm).
People could arrive when they wanted to & explore the rest of the museum. We could all meet for lunch in the cafeteria area. The food is reasonable, salads & sandwiches, pizza, chicken fingers. Then people could enter the exhibit at their designated time. You can get the tickets over the internet.

The exhibit is running through the first weekend in May. Everyone agreed that a Saturday would be best. The weather in April in Philly is pretty decent.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks for looking into this Lisa. Either way is fine with us, and April sounds good. Please let us know when everybody decides on a date so DW can request off from work. The kids (especially DS10) is going to love it!

Which ones? I haven't been to a winery since Bully Hill and Gold Seal (Upstate NY) back in the 80's:scared1:

Virginia is, I think, only 3rd to Ca and NY for wine production in the US. We especially love St. Prince Michelle and Barborsville are two of our favorites. It's a ride into the country :)

I'm on board with you, Captain . . . we live about 10 minutes from our Costco and I tend to go there instead of the grocery store, too . . . .LOL

The scary thing to do is to send DH in there . . . it's even worse if he happens to be hungry . . LOL . . .I try to remind him that he is buying IN BULK . . .:laughing::laughing:

Glad to be back and reading everyone's cool posts. . .

We call Sam's the $100.00 store. Even we go for 1 thing we end up spending.........................$100.00.

My Dad is a big wine drinker and is always having me try something new. Some I like a lot and some I don't:confused3

I did the wine tasting on my last cruise in 2006 and only drank two of the six glasses they gave us. I usually know from the first sip if I'm going to like the wine or not.

Maybe you just haven't found a wine that appeals to you yet:confused3

It is kinda like any animal that comes from water- fish, seafood - ALL varieties I cannot stand. Fish and seafood makes me sick to even smell.
I have to admit I do like Kool Aid versions of wine (Zinfandel) though.

Oh yeah! Party on the zip line!!!:cool1: :cool1:

Sounds right.
They are a little different. Basically if you pay via paypal now you can assure you are on. I got 2 separate emails from them w/ confusing instructions.
I went ahead and paid so I would not forget and it was done.

A friend of mine and I are always saying we want to go to one of the festivals, but we haven't gotten around to it yet.
Maybe this summer we'll grab my DH as designated driver and go:cool1:

You might like port:confused3
I had some last summer for the first time with cheese and it was great. Very sweet though.

I like seafood, but not the rubbery kind (oysters, clams, etc);)

I cannot remember if I have had Port or not.
I have to admit I was exposed to fine dining and wine throughout my childhood. It took w/ all my siblings but for some reason, not with me. I prefer meat, bread, potatoes and tea over anything else.

Here's the tiara I just won on Ebay ($20.07)

OOOO.....might be interested in this one. Must confess, I haven't thought about what to do at Cabo at all. BUT....a zip line with a real cancellation policy, not just a cancel if the ship doesn't make port, makes this real appealing to me. There would be 2 of us.

I liked the cancellation policy and that you can do tandem upto 4 people. However, it doesn't look to have much shade, if any. Just an open canyon.
