Hi

A question for the wenches:

Have any of you gotten gloves for Princess night yet? If so, where did you get them?

DW just picked out a tiara on ebay, so we ordered it.

Beautiful:thumbsup2

How do you pack a tiara (especially one like that) without smooshing it in your luggage:confused3

I'm not a glove person, so I will pass on the gloves:rolleyes1
I may bring a tiara if I can figure out to pack it:rolleyes:

Mike that's cool.
You can get gloves at any of the local bridal shops.

Okay the chat was even to fast for me!!!:lmao: How fast can you type!!!

I can type quite fast, however, I did type up most of the information that I put in the chat in advance so I just had to copy and paste.

Okay, keep your fingers crossed. I just put us in for the PV Zipline. I requested pick-up at the Tour Office.

Mike I got my gloves off ebay. You can type in wedding gloves for the search. I thought mine were a little tight, but my SIL says that is how they are supposed to be. I still may try to go to a bridal store and see if I can find some that would be more to my liking.
Your DW tiara is very pretty.

I plan to wrap mine in tissue and tuck it into a spot Laurie.

Thanks for the quick responses everybody!:thumbsup2

Linda's worried about the gloves being tight too, so maybe we'll try a bridal store.

Very pretty, I was looking for one on Ebay myself today. Do you have a JoAnn Fabrics near you? They sell them there quite cheaply. Also on Ebay!

I'll see how they pack it to ship to us. Hopefully it'll be in a small box that will fit in the luggage pretty easily. If I get any good idea from their packaging, I'll let you know.

I have visions of arriving with a bent tiara and trying to bend it back into shape:rolleyes:

I put pick up as the office. But, I noted in the free text section that I was with a group from DCL & didn't know where our pick up was going to be.

I put 1:00 pm as both my primary time & alternate time.

Yes, Pick up at the office is correct. We will all need to take a cab from the port to their office. I think they said it was about $4.00 per person. I think we can get together and go as a group when we meet up at their office before getting in their bus to get to the zipline.

Hope you get in! It will be a fun group.

You chose 1:00 Debi? Pick-up at the office is what the rest of us chose too. :thumbsup2

All right I just sent my request for the Los Venanos Zipline. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

Good luck, Lisa -- it is one of the things I am looking most forward to doing on this cruise!:thumbsup2

Now Laurie, you could pull off a bent tiara -- it might just add to your style! Seriously, I have recently bought a new long silk black evening gown for formal night on this cruise, as well as sparkly black impossibly high heeled sandals, so a tiara might have to complete the look . . .:goodvibes

You want pick-up in Puerto Vallarta. Alot of us are at the 1:00, but that may be full by now. We asked for an earlier time, but those are full.
If you can't get the time you want, you can try for Cabo San Lucas or try for a DCL zip excursion:confused3

Good luck:flower3:

There are also several other zipline companies in Puerto Vallarta if Los Veranos ends up selling out for all the times that could work for those on this cruise. Here are some choices for ziplining in PV:

Hey Julie -
I've been checking out horsebacking at our ports in Mexico - I keep getting feedback from others that the horses are in terrible condition. I am having 2nd thoughts about booking. I've had horses all my life and it would be really disturbing to see abused animals - I know I couldn't ride one.
Thought I'd share as I know you've booked a private ride.

What kind of shoes are you planning to wear?

Hi there,

I have volunteered and have been okayed to plan the cabin crawl. If you are interested in participating seeing how "the other half lives" - please PM me..also..if you are willing to have people check out your cabin - please let me know.

thanks!

Desiree

For those who don't know what it is, we need a volunteer for each Category of room and then (probably early in the cruise) we do a tour through each of the rooms. If you have ever wondered if that next Cat up was worth it or if you could live with one Cat down, here's a chance to find out.

Thanks for volunteering for this!

No reveals that I know of. At least I know I never revealed myself.

Take care of the family. Lord knows I know how difficult those family crisises can be. If you need an escape, we'll be here.

Hey Crash! What's your thoughts on this?

If you have done to WDW enough that you don't feel you need to do tons of rides every day, Christmas is a wonderful time to visit -- not too hot and beautifully decorated, lots going on . . .:thumbsup2

I love that my kids have been there enough to know that we don't need to wait in two hour lines to see something, we can see it (ride it) next time.

Um.....may be a dumb question but does anyone know if when the boards were revamped - did they reset all settings? For some reason - I lost all my threads saves. Now I hve to hunt down everything. Oh woe is me - that should teach me to stay away for so long! But glad I found you all again!

And the "view first unread" doesn't work either.

I'm with you on the savings part - this past week I saved DH hundreds of $$ by shopping at Old Navy. I even splurged and finally got myself that cashmere sweater I've been debating for years. I was lucky to get some sweaters for $5 - ::yes:: you heard right - $5, pants for $6 and long sleeve shirts for $2-$6 dollars. I made a killer save. Saved over $200 - $196.98 to be exact. And I even have the receipt to prove it!

Oh yeah - got that killer cashmere sweater for $17. Boy - I am sooooooo goood! :lmao:

Wasn't it Lucy who saved Ricky loads of $$ by buying wholesale? :rotfl2:

Mental note to self, keep DW away from msaseifert, eeyorelvr10 and micmse2003, this is not a good way for her to think

Can anyone post the youtube video link again? I need to show DD Erica it, so we can make a decision.

There was a vid on their website

I feel a bit like a stranger again! I spent about 20 minutes going through the first 12 pages of this new thread and then I speed to the last 12 pages of this thread for the next 20 minutes. I am so far behind! HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome back!

I'm getting a complex. I always end up talking to myself.

Here you go:

No pushing and shoving, there's room for everyone!!

Doesn't DCL have a jungle tour....?

I'm not worried, you are getting on the ship with someone who seems to attract hurricanes..... (see my signature below)

Oh I'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal:hippie:

I'm putting off buying a dress until I lose some weight. So far have lost 5 pounds , but still have quite a ways to go.

I saw some beautiful blue gowns a few weeks ago, so I'm leaning towards getting a blue one. I'll be in lower heels for safety purposes;)
