It's Tuesday ... only 3 more work days. Flying on Friday Still not packed I'm hoping to get some of it done tonight. I asked DH to take DS to football practice so that I can pack ... we'll see if that happens. Oh well, I didn't really plan on sleeping much Thursday night anyway ... I can always pack then

PV Zip Line Taxi Sharing

There has been a little discussion on the PZ about meeting up and sharing taxis for getting over to the Los Veranos office. The plan is for anyone who wants to share, meeting up in the atrium (by the mickey statue) a little before Noon for the 1PM tour. Other groups may be arranging similar things, but the 1PM tour will definitely be doing it for any that are interested.

We figure it shouldn't take more than 20 minutes to exit the ship to the taxi area, another 20 minutes to the Los Veranos office and they ask us to be there 20 minutes early on the confirmation.

Count us in!!!!

For anyone who hasn't seen it - in the Announcements section of the PZ board, Tom posted my DH's complilation of worst-case scenario info to take with you and leave behind with a family member/friend. Things like embassy locations and phone numbers, travel advisories, etc.

Wow Where'd everyone go? I just got done calling the credit cards. The reason I started was because of a $3.50 charge that we can't figure out what the heck it is!! I asked for more info and the guy basicly read the info that I could see on our statement online. How useful. He also had a heavy accent so I couldn't understand what he was saying... I asked if he could give me a location and he said "NM?" And you should've heard him say "Albuquerque" or "Souvineer" So we said we wanted to contest it but that department is closed now...

Actually, if there is a phone# next to the charge it would be faster to just call them.Really, most banks do not have any additional info about the charges except telling you the type of merchant it is. They will probably write off that charge as it is so small. Ask if it was swiped or keyed in. May help remember
what it is.

Congrats. Safe Travels.

I have 1 full 10 hour day and 3 hours tomorrow. Then I get my hair colored. We did have 3 appts on Thurs am. They called to delay my Mammogram so I resched for Sept. DH had an xray for his knee which I will be cancelling today and a Dr appt which we put off til Sept. Thursday is crunch day. The clothes are decided upon.Now to sort thru all the STUFF we have hoarded thru these months. Looks like an entire other suitcase. Yes we are traveling heavy. 2 large bags, 1 next size down, Garment bag and we are taking those small carryons with us DS will be bringing the laptop over and DD thinks she has a case for it. The one DS has is not quite big enough and he has had to cram it in. Obviously my mind is not on work. That calendar just stares at me all day.

Oh I knew there was something else. I noticed a charge that was being disputed yesterday. "Vistaprints" something or other. 14.95 each month.Said she ordered stuff from them last year. For those of you that ordered the postcards etc from them, apparently there was some sort of offer on the site. Just check your statements and cancel it asap if you see anything like that. Poor woman had it for 9 months and never noticed. Shame. Check your bills carefully !!!

Gotta print out all my contact #s ,email addresses,collect the Drs cards. Hopefully the Rx will be ready today. Albertsons was bought out for the most part here by Publix and they took over the drug dept at anopther location til they renovate the store. Took almost an hour to get them on the phone. I'm sending DH today. Let him deal with it. Will most likely transfer it to the CVS down the street.

We are flying into LAX from Nashville at 2:20...hopefully on time.

The bags are packed and in the minivan. The carryons are ready by the door. Now if only I was tired so that I could get some sleep. We leave in 4 hours!!! I can't believe this is happening. In 24 hours I will be seeing DL!!!!!

I have completed the online check-in, so does that mean I do not need to bring anything out of the paper documents we received in the mail? I know the luggage tags are in there and that should be all I need, correct? TIA

You do need to bring the paper documents along.

Okay, I received one vote for you don't need the paper documents and one for you do.

We have never checked in online before and I would prefer to not bring all the extra paperwork if it isn't necessary.

Michelle, if you have filled out the online check in and have PRINTED all those papers then you do not need any of the paper documents except your luggage tags

Even if you do end up needing anything the pier will have blank forms you can fill out

Where's Wellsville? I'm from Sweet Springs...population about 1,500. Big compared to your parent's home towns. Sweet Springs is half-way between KC and Columbia on I-70.

I know you've already left but...Wellsvile is in Montgomery County -- half way between Columbia and St Louis. ;-) off of I-70.
