Wow...just got back from the birthday party and you all were a chatty group! I did manage to ketchup.

Shannon..I am so sorry to hear of the plane issue..i will keep you in my thoughts that tomorrow will be a day for you to rest and that you will be on your way Tuesday!

What a day I have had packing. After packing a large bag very carefully, I went to zip it up and guess what? A broken zipper. Arg! Went out and got two new ones thinking an extra one wouldn't hurt. Then it happened again with another suitcase, the zipper tore away from the case! Guess I should be glad we picked up two to begin with. We still might need another one, we'll see tomorrow when I finish the last minute things! Bummer, would have been nice to spend that money on other things, like those things that shine and wrap around my finger!!!! I guess that was on my mind since tomorrow is our 18th wedding anniversary.

I just bought insurance 2 days ago do you are not alone in the late minute insurance boat.

We just got the suitcases out of the attic. They weigh 21 pounds EMPTY!!! Guess the smaller suitcases will get the heavier stuff.

I sold my expensive hard shell suitcases for $2.00 each in a garage sale 3 years ago. They were the best Samsonite I ever had!!! We were just getting too old to lift the suitcases when full.

It's TOAL. Go crazy. Use sugar.

Every calorie counts towards more cake!!!

This guys is a VERY BUSY street. Please keep in mind that they were doing construction while I was there in May and I think in July also. While there are crosswalks, the tour guides were recommending to get a taxi to cross the street. Its that busy and if any of you recall your mis-adventures with taxis and traffic - either way, your risking a bit. Just cross on the light, watch any kids and keep them with you and if all else fails, follow a local (but only on the light)

Several disturbances in the Atlantic Ocean bear close watching over the next several days as the tropics have begun to bubble, but are not yet boiling.

Convection with a low pressure center about 1000 miles east of the Windward Islands has become a little better organized. Further development of this system is possible over the next few days as it sweeps westward at 15 to 20 mph.

Another disturbance, not quite so well organized, is located several hundred miles west-southwest of the Cape Verde Islands, and is following in the wake of the low east of the Windwards. This second system could also show some development over the next couple of days.

Finally, a large cluster of thunderstorms and downpours emerged off the coast of Africa Sunday and is now south of the Cape Verdes. This disturbance, too, bears watching as it plows westward.

Second cruise.......Johns suit got sprayed and and wrinkles were gone!!! You can always come and borrow some. I am bringing a big bottle.

and this spinning thing, should I even try it?

OMG if you like absolute torture...go for it! I took a spinning class ONCE & I didn't think I'd survive it. The instructor made me ride a stationary bike at the fastest speed I could possibly pedal while standing up almost the entire time. It wasn't an advanced class or anything so I've been scared to try another one.

ok problem one...If the teacher knew you were new to the class (if they were qualified to teach) they would have given you various degrees of modifications.

problem two... i'd never recommend lots of standing on the first class.

Here's the thing...Spinning is not about keeping up with the class...It's about YOUR workout and YOUR skill level. You ALWAYS should be instructed how to modify and still exercise safely.

Now that said... after having taken a class previously on the magic...I'm not sure their instructor would meet standards for american certifications...

oh it was stolen all right by the 3rd day...thus why i didn't want her to take it in the first place...

DH & I are both surprised that 25dd and her dh have a large dog....

I have never known anyone else who was attacked by a dog as a child. Since it happened I have been terrified of dogs...especially big ones...and it is very difficult for me to not pass that fear on to my kids.

My dog is probably the largest in the neighborhood...However, she is actually the last one you should worry about... It's more about the breed and the temperment in general that people should think about.

Our soft side is doubling as one of our carry ons...

SO far i've allotted room for 3 large cases, 1 medium, 1 garment, and the 3 carry-ons & personal items (ie backpack or purse)

Oh BIP, I do think we are going to have to keep Alana and Ruby on oppisite ends of the ship! THEY MAY NOT MEET!!!!

Hi...we're doing the 2 pm Dolphin Encounter at Sea Life Park. I would probably book the 11:15 in case the ship is late arriving and to give yourselves enough time to get over there.

I did mine in Microsoft Word. I'll assume that you have that since most people do.

Let me give you some quick step-by-steps. Practice a couple and it comes real easy then.

1. Go to Word
2. At the top menu, click View>Toolbars>WordArt
3. On the WordArt tool bar, click the left hand icon (Insert WordArt)
4. Choose one of the styles and click "OK"
5. Type in text and click "OK"
6. Right click on your text and click on "Format WordArt"
7. Click Color>Fill Effect>Picture
8. Select a picture file from your drive and click "OK"
9. You should see the picture in the letters of your WordArt.

Good luck . . . and have fun with this. I know that I am!

Here is one that I made for one of my friend's sons who worked in the College Program at Disney last year. He was a CM at the Nemo ride at EPCOT. It worked out perfectly since his picture formatted to the "L" in Kyle.

OH MY....I so don't need to spend ANY amount of time on this........but I LOVE the name designs. I actually ordered our whole gang from another thread by a gal who does them beautifully!

we went over to the airport to see what was going on...and they told us...there are NO flights for us tomorrow at all! the earliest one he could find is one on tues...but we wont get into cali til almost 2 i think it was. i dont even remember now...cuz i'm so irritated! i'm supposed to be taking it easy...but now i feel like we are gonna be a bit rushed when we get there now! my bday is weds...and we had a non stress day planned....taking it easy...dinner....but now i think we're gonna have to do the parks...so we can use our tickets that we bought!
i don't know. it's just so frustrating! i guess it could be worse...at least we had the extra time before the cruise!

i haven't read thru all the back posts...but i wanted to send prayers to those that need them!

I'm just so glad this didn't happen closer to boarding the ship! I know that doesn't make it any easier and I'm sorry it is causing you stress. Take care of yourself, that is most important right now!

I think its still about $1.25 to wash and about the same for drying but keep in mind the dryers take longer - on some of them. Also, you can get quarters from Guest Services but plan on taking some with you. If you run out at least you know where to go. Its been a while since I recently discovered the dry cleaning.
