Pretty much the only punishment i feel that works is taking away ipod or cell phone...

they do link them though because the group of people we linked dining to- also changed our status on the website as far as booking stuff/etc. We can still book- but now it says that stuff about being a larger group and unable to book if someone else is logged in/etc.

Yeppers, I think taking the ipod away is the only way to get to her now. It used to be gameboy but she's over that now I think. LOL

Yeah - they did a good and decent job with the ironing and I didn't have to wait in line. Just remember that as soon as you get your luggage, pull out your formals and or tuxes put it outside and or call guest services on Sunday so that they can press your formal/tux since Monday will be formal night and you don't get charged an additional fee. That way you avoid all the lines for the iron.

OK all - boy do I feel like a dull crayon! But that's ok - got my navigator's list and printed an extra just in case I misplace it. My dd found my FE list from the July cruise in Rocking Bar D after I left one night so that should tell you the condition I was in! No bothers though - I

I can top that.. I took away Ruby's mp3 player and gameboy back before christmas holiday and she just kept on doing things to not get it back! And i don't mean little things- I wasn't being nitpicky!

I was GONNA give her the ipod for christmas but decided she didn't deserve it (didn't tell her about it ofcourse) and then thought about giving it to her for her birthday (in jan) but decided against it (again didn't tell her about it) but months later I - in a fit of frustration with her- finally let her know I had it and hadn't given it to her because of her behavior, grades, etc! So she's known for awhile and I finally gave it to her a few nights ago and put the songs on it..... and now a couple of days later she's lost it again.

I so don't blame you. I am so sorry this all happened so close to a "relaxing" vacation. I really hope it turns around and you can still have a great time at DL!

The nerves have been bothering me for 3 weeks now. I will be fine once I get on the plane and we are actually starting this trip!

The nerves are starting to hit me too. I actually went a little "crazy" on everyone earlier tonight. They looked at me like I had bugs crawling out of my ears. Of course my DD teenager copping an attitude about it sure didn't help!
My DH said he did not want to join me in my "freakness"... I was mad about it then, but it is pretty funny now....

What a day I have had packing. After packing a large bag very carefully, I went to zip it up and guess what? A broken zipper. Arg! Went out and got two new ones thinking an extra one wouldn't hurt. Then it happened again with another suitcase, the zipper tore away from the case! Guess I should be glad we picked up two to begin with. We still might need another one, we'll see tomorrow when I finish the last minute things! Bummer, would have been nice to spend that money on other things, like those things that shine and wrap around my finger!!!! I guess that was on my mind since tomorrow is our 18th wedding anniversary.

BTW, I will post a note on my door and also will slip notes or word of mouth to anyone interested. Guess I should have mentioned it too huh?

I will be seeing Julie on Tuesday and I know that she has a wipe erase board so I can also list it there.

OK - now that I finally found my phone, I can go back to attempting to pack.

Okay another question.......
concerning hooking up with laptop to ethernet cable at hotel (HOJO doesn't have wifi) and then later doing wireless on cruise.

At home we have cable internet and it's hooked thru router so all the computers and laptops are wireless (always)

I was trying to hook up laptop with ethernet cable from cable modem- to see if I would have to "do" anything to make it change from wireless internet connection to ethernet connection-and it wouldn't work! I don't know how to make it work either.

is it different when hooking up with ethernet cable somewhere like Hojo? Am I gonna have a problem being able to connect even though I have the ethernet cable it says you have to have? Do I have to "do something" to make the laptop stop trying to connect to the netgear router and instead connect thru the ethernet cable?
Help please!

I think on the ship you'll have enuf tech savvy DIS folks or possibly even the ships computer techs might resolve your connection issues.

Other than that - I only know how to switch the dang things on = and how to search for and post images. So - I don't know much... other than my computer mostly has a tool for choosing which router path to connect with. I usually get wary of public or unencrypted lines... typically shown as open. Just a thought.... and maybe what I'm thinking is not anywhere near correct, eh?

.... i'm traveling tomorrow! However, it won't be anywhere TOWARDS the ship.

.... we're doglegging it up to Bakersfield for business... then back again to resume packing on tuesday night. I'll have a web connection tomorrow once we get there - so I'll probably be lurking an' lookin' fer trouble... as usual. but in an INNOCENT manner.
