Now the only thing on his list is pack himself (not even touching that one) and all electronics; cameras, laptops, chargers, etc.

This is pretty much Kevin's job too. He's going to finish packing the 2 boxes that we're putting together and ship them to the hotel tomorrow.

I think maybe ther was a pirate run?
hope DD is feeling better soon!
Thanks :) And yes, there was a pirate run yesterday that started at about post #700 :lmao:

I hadn't thought about that- although I'm not sure it will work on the ones with varying amounts each month (like utilities) and stupid geico won't ever let me pay early online. gets on my last nerve. LOL

Our bank lets me do just that. There's an option for "amount changes each month" so it pays this month, then defaults to $0 until I put in the new amount.

Drive by posting....:drive:

I got a photo mat to leave at GS for the characters to sign. I'm going to put a sheet in the photo area that says:

"A honeymoon to celebrate the day that we were wed,
With no more worries of the pounds we worked so hard to shed,
Our favorite Disney characters we hope will join our cause,
And sign around the picture frame with hands, or fins, or paws,
We're gathering well-wishes with your names we know so well,
And in the years to come we'll have a Disney tale to tell."

What do you think? Think they'll sign it? I'm hoping we'll get a nice picture on board and then have this as a souvenier to hang on the wall at home. What do you veteran cruisers think? Is it worth it? Thanks!

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Okay this may sound like a stupid question- but I've never flown with a laptop!
I know it says you can take a laptop and it's not counting as a carryon (in addition to carryon) but does that mean it's okay in it's bag thingy? Or does that mean you have to carry the laptop either by itself or in the carryon? Just want to make sure it's gonna be okay to take a carryon PLUS the bag thing with laptop in it. (it's about the size of those 3" binders with zippers that the kids use at school- just trying to think about what's the closest thing I can describe that is about the size of the bag for the laptop LOL)

I just wanted to show everyone how talented our Little Miss Chrissie is with her artistic talent. She made this for me:hug:  and I will be hanging it on my Mickey Wall in the kitchen. No time to have John make a frame or mount it before TOAL.

I tried resizing but alas my photobucket will not work.

Thank You Chrissie!!!

All I can say is WOW! :worship:

I don't pay thru my bank. I pay online on the company's websites (ie: geico, utilities, etc.) and usually pay with CC (for the points!- then pay the CC off with bank account LOL)...... not thru my bank.
The only things I pay for with the bank (mortgage/car pymt and such) are automatic pymts so I'm not worried about those anyway. :)
I don't want to do automatic monthly pymts- I just want to pay it early so I don't have to pay bills on the cruise/TOAL since most of them become due during our vacation.

Actually hoop skirts twist up like pup tents. You just fold them into a figure 8.

That's a great prayer, but my Olde English grammarian is kicking in... Shouldn't that be "Thou"? That's the verb declination.

I think we have found a proofreader! :thumbsup2

The rule generally is one carry on and one personal item.

A personal item is a briefcase, purse, camera bag, laptop in bag, or similar

Of course, it should be "thou".

I wrote it that way on purpose. I wanted to see if anyone would catch the mistake.

And, if you believe that, I have prime swampland and a statue to sell! :lmao:

Thanks for the correction . . .

Does anyone own the canon sd1100 elph? I'm thinking of picking it up to use in addition to our big digital camera we have which is also a canon. However, I usually prefer cameras that have real batteries that I don't have to recharge. This one isn't like that, but I can't figure out what kind of battery what to buy as an extra that isn't the canon one which is pretty expensive.

In a slight panic right now. I have looked all over and I can't find my Disney Rewards Card. I ordered last month and just transferred my latest points over. Went looking for the card to put it in with the cruise documents, but it is no where to be found. Not on the catch all dining room table, not on the shelf with all the other various gift cards, not in any of my purses, not in my wallet, not with my cruise docs. Not sure where else to look.

I lose things on my puter desk all the time. Things have a way getting buried.
That and in pants pockets that have made their way to the laundry basket.

Well set it up for a one time payment through your bank just for this time while you'll be gone.

I have an elph. It's the 800, but same thing. I also had another one before this one. I have never had any trouble with recharging the battery and prefer these because they're smaller and I don't have to fuss with bringing tons of extra batteries. I've only ever had the batteries run low if I have it set to use the flash all the time (so I turn off the screen when this starts to happen). I haven't ever had an extra battery. This one can take up to a couple of hours to charge.

I hope so... I am actually kinda bored with her sleeping all day. Though it isn't for a lack of things that I should be doing!

I tried to give her pedialite earlier, apple flavor. She made a really funny face (where's the camera when you need it?) and gave it back to me! I don't blame her that stuff really tastes nasty. Guess I should've watered it down or something. She has had about 8oz of water and I'm not sure how much is 'too much'. The nutritionist a while back said to give her 4-5oz per day...

Have you tried Gatorade???:confused3 Grandchildren's doctor said if you can't get pedialite down.....give them Gatorade!!! :thumbsup2 Much better flavors than the pedialite.;)
