Oh, that reminds me, as of September no more McDonalds in DL (not sure about WDW). So get your last batch of fries this trip. When I told DS, he informed me that all his meals would be at the fry carts in Frontierland and New Orleans Square.

Put me in the group of NO HUGGERS.............my DD tests just came back and she has Mono. I am hoping I don't come down with it. Her friend had it and oh spend the night didn't tell her for awhile. Ughhh

Anyone heard about Hernan tropical depression? It's 715 miles SW of Cabo. They expect it to turn into a hurricane. Nothing off of Africa but they had to mention all the thunderstorms inland that they need to keep an eye out for.

How cool is that?
He's been through so much and really represents all that is good about America, IMO.

I remember my mom letting me stay home from school in 1980 - back when the ceremony was shown live during the day - to watch Scott Hamilton carry the flag in the Winter Olympic opening ceremony (we knew him). Almost 30 years ago and I still remember how cool it was!

That is awesome! I LOVE the winter Olympics and am a huge figure skating fan. That is so neat you knew Scott Hamilton and watched him in the Olympics. Wow!

School day is still going on here...DD dragging today out for some reason! And we have a get-together for the library reading program as well as a meeting tonight.

Have not accomplished anything today since things are moving so slow.....

I am getting jealous as I see people are getting ready to leave on their trip..I want To leave! And then realize I am already here but not on vacation....well..kinda...it's like I am waiting for all my friends to come over so we can hang out!

It will be here before you know it....See you on Tuesday or Wednesday!!!

Golden Horseshoe in DL - absolute must this time around - missed it at the beginning of June.

We also like Hungry Bear - grab a table by the water and watch the canoes/rafts/paddlewheeler.

DCA - the broccoli soup in the breadbowl at Boudin Bakery is good

White Water Snacks - in Grand Californian is reasonably priced and a little out the way - so not as busy + airconditioned. Just go thru the entrance to the hotel by Grizzly River Run and turn left at the concourse.


Of course - don't forgot a dole whip for dessert

Oh MY HECK! I am so in the mood for that breadbowl and broccoli soup!!! You are all mentioning the food and I am going crazy!!!!!
I LOVE the chili in the breadbowl while watching one of the best shows at DL (Golden Horseshoe).
Bring on a month of good food! Wooo hooooo!

I watched 3 of her video's and boy are they exciting! Can't wait to get home and watch the rest. It took me a minute to figure out that each picture that she posts has a different link to that video of where they were!

Oh, they were so much fun to watch. The lizard in Aruba, the Acapulco pics, the ship pics, theme nights, the chocolate fountains, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo. Can't believe we get to go and see it all.

OO I am so sorry for her.. does she have medicine.. when i had mono in the stone ages all we did was sleep it off so to speak..

I am happy that our hotel is right near the McD's across the street, so I know we will be eating there plenty during the trip (due to being less expensive and having picky kids). I know its not as good as in the park, but at least its accessible! LOL

Can you transfer additional dollars onto a card that already has money on it? Is there a limit how high it can go, or can you only replenish it once rewards have been used?

I just did that yesterday. Color is perfect, but she cut my bangs too short. That is something that cannot be changed until it grows out, and the trip is too close now

Yep you can transfer additional rewards $$ to the same card.. no limit that i know of.. but then again I never had that much to begin with.. it will pay the tips for us..

Arlene can give us the offical answer though..
